iron man is when a lot of footbaggers all start shredding at once and then whoever is shredding last wins

and most rippen run is 2 shredders battling at the same time

there are some rules like it must be guiltless and stuff and no bops i dunno

We need to have more novice divisions to help motivate the new players coming into the sport. Like I'm a tiltless player, and my friend's like, "yeah dude you'd be in intermediate". Have you SEEN the intermediate players. D-D-D-DAMN!

Good call. With strong guiltless players hitting multiple 5s in "intermediate", how can we expect ACTUAL intermediate players to feel comfortable competing at Worlds (or any tournament)?

perhaps dare I say conform with other world championship events and get rid of intermediate completely from worlds.

Apart from that in my opinion anybody who can hit more than 15 guiltless (for their best ever run) and competes in intermediate is sandbagging.

The point of intermediate is to encourage the newest players to compete, or at least that's what I see the point of it. People who don't like losing shouldn't compete at all.

lol, I'm not saying you should love losing. Just people who compete in intermediate because they don't want to get destroyed by Vasek should just not bother competing in my opinion. It's unfair for all the real intermediates for players who have some skill to compete down there. It makes having an intermediate competition pointless. The level of intermediate players should not keep rising - the numbers of open competitors should be going up.

edit: I guess my attitude has always been one of compete at the highest level you can - better to lose to champions than to win against less experienced people than yourself.

I think it's more the job of the tournament director at any given tournament to make decisions like that. Something could be written into the rules I guess but that's definitly a minor priority at them moment - sorry. But Sam - you can do something about it! Join the IFPA if you haven't already and then apply to join the IFC or a similar committee.
