Today MK and I had a 2 hour skooling session at the prime time of day.

I had a short conversation with a woman when she was checking into the motel. Her husband went to the store down the street and got me a candy bar and soda [I'm from Northern Illinois but my mother was from Misurri so I saw soda. Pop sounds dumb] because his wife thought I was so nice! And it's an orange soda, my current favorite. I don't get tips at any of my jobs right now, so this exception was exceptionally unexpected. But this one time at the car place I work at, this guy asked me if I could do him a favor and watch his car and I said it was no problem so he gave me a bag of Millano cookies because he works as a distributer. Money is great but sweets are way more fun.... and unhealthy.

On a slightly different note, Jeremy, Amelia, Matt Kain (and anyone else who wants to come out) and I are going to kick on Saturday at 4:30pm at the San Lorenzo tennis courts.

Santa Cruz crew: There's a little info here on Jason and crew's party on the 21st: http://www.waxaffiliates.com/ Just if you're curious.

Man, no one of any interest ever posts in my blog... I think I'm going to stop posting here.

BURN. :P I'm sorry Aaron, you are just the most fun to make fun of because you know I'm never ever serious. I always enjoy it when you post in my blog. I almost decided to come down this weekend but I'd be losing a lot of money by not working. :( I still really want to come and hang out with you and the San Diego crew and see the sites. I was going to drive down to San Diego on my last trip, but then I found out that you and everyone else would be in LA. Oh well. I'll make it someday.

Uh oh, Aaron didn't reply. Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you my favorite part of my "tip" story from tonight. After the guy gave me the candy and drink we had a comfortable conversation about what he and his wife are doing since they have both been retired for a while, etc. And before leaving he gave me the hammer- and it was so nonchalant, it wasn't like some old guy trying to be cool. It was just right.

(I miss Chicago.)

(I know it misses me too. :-))

I don't know what else it's called. Just to make sure others are on the same page: He put his fist out for me to hit it with mine. Not up and down, but one straight on contact. Does that make sense?

I lost a footbag. I haven't been able to find it for a long time so I'm wondering if anyone else has found it in since over the last few months people have been at my house and I've been in other people's cars and rooms. It's a pretty much broken in orange and dark blue mini abshire. Please keep your eyes out for it. :(
