Lavers suck

Post by mitko »

Ok...today i bought my firs pair of rod lavers. Till now i've been playing with g-unis. So there is notig to modify on this shoe on first sight, only the toe. There is olny one layer, the mesh, so there is nothing to cut. Its hard for me to make...e.g. an osis, the bag is slipping all the time, they are so OILY on the top (I mean inside, outside, toe, heel) I'm just mad. Pleese help me. How do you people play with your lavers, i just dont get it

There are two layers. Look on the inside of the shoe, it is different than on the outside. one way that makes them more grippy is cutting off the OUTER layer, but most people cut off the inner.

Jim Penske, Daryl Genz, Lon Smith, and more cut off the outer layer.

I cut the outer layer off too, but that's 'cause I learned from Jim and Daryl, Daryl's son cuts the outside off too. The inner layer is a really grippy canvas like material it will really help with the slippery thing.

He's in Junior High, He's pretty good, way better than me but I just started freestyle like 3 and a half months ago. I'm sure he's been playing for a while I mean he is the son of a 4 time world champion.
He can do tiltless runs no problem and I saw him almost hit like a big 4 add trick, It was fun shredding with him, I'd like to shred with him more often.
Back to topic... uh mitko did you mod the laces at all?

Click here to see a very helpful material trimming tutorial done by Hood. "As you notice, after you fully modify your shoes, you become a serious footbagger, and you enter manhood."
"I contend we are both atheists, I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours."

I don;t think he plays all that much, but I think he's 13, and is strong tiltless.

That two layer on the inside are really thin and i was convinced it was only one. But i'm starting to feel my new shoes. But they played me a really fuckin trick. I was going for an bubba beater, but after the beater as stepped on the ground on my outside and i sprained my anckle really bad, and now its swallen, but thats not important, after felling on the ground, i felt so dizzy, but not like 5 osises one after another with one foot, i couldn see very clearlu
everithing was spinnin around and my ears went boooo, i was so fuckin ... i dont know, afraid or somthin, that was really shitty situation
i hope i didnt cracked my anckle, we'll see

I've babysitted them before ;)

Dylan's pretty cool - doesn't play all that much. Cameron is the most hilarious little kid I have ever had the luck of meeting. You might see him at a tournament sometime. Ask Red or Kyle or someone who knows him what he's like ;)

Just click the link and read it.

A) It's forum policy.
B) There is a thread in almost every subforum explaining the forum policy. If you have a problem with it, that's fine, but you need to let a mod or admin know why. Please read the link first though. Thanks! :D
