Hey Jeremy guess WHAT? I got a new laptop, and there's an application on it that let's me check out local times anywhere in the world, so I set it for Hobart so I can know if it is a suitable time to call you.

I will also be installing Office soon so I will have MSN Messenger and we will be able to chat.

Thought you'd like that.

One day I was walking along and I felt the need to hock a golly and see if my loogie would be a cliff hanger. Some dude looked at my loogie and began chundering all over the place. He ran as fast as he could to the dunny but discovered it was in use. The man yelled "Oi mate!" hurry up cause I gotta hang a terd and have a toss.

So today not much happened. I learnt how to play "go" which is a very old Chinese board game - I guess sort of like chess, but actually completely different. Very hard to explain. Also very very tactical. Probably involves the most thinking of any board game I've ever played. Everything is tactics and skill - fairly simple rules too. We played some small games that were fun. I imagine that playing a full sized game (19x19 for those that know the game) and taking it seriously would take a few days, if not weeks

If somebody else knows how to play, we'll play an online game on the forum - just by posting the coordinates of each move and maybe the odd photo now and then - that would be fun!

Also arranged for my party so most of the arranging is done

Watched probably the best game of cricket on tv also. It was day 4 of the second ashes test. Australia started the day at 8 for 170 approx - needing over 100 runs for 2 wickets. Shane Warne batted very well and got out with us still needing 62 I think. Then Brett Lee and Michael Kasprovich (Australia's worst two batters) put on a 60 run partnership before Kasper got out. So with 4 days play (about 30 hours) and 1,600 balls bowled the game essentially came down to having the winner decided by the very last ball. Actually it was a catch down legside from the keeper with no fine leg so had he missed it Australia almost certainly would have won. Fantastic game and full credit to England. Of course Australia will destroy them next test I'm sure. If only our top order batters could bat as well as the bottom order

I was just thinking, on Saturday I don't think I did a single pdx illusion but I was hitting blurry flail bsos a fair bit - weird.

Also I think it's a fairly long time since I've had a "bad session" - I'd say that since the Hobart Footbag Club got going properly I haven't had one at all. I guess because I'm having so much fun and because I have so much different stuff I work on. It's cool anyway.

For the record, both chess and Go likely 'require' more thought than will pass through your brain over the course of your natural life, but neither can hope to be as confusing as cricket. Nice work on learning Go, I've always wanted to.

mmm, twas a good game of cricket (and i usually find the game extremely boring) i watched a bit sat night when we got 7 out for... i dunno it was under 100 i think? but yeah that bowl by warnie was insane

Hey I hit a new move today. Clip ss double switch! Fun move. I hit it a few times but couldn't link it yet. It still feels good and I think I could hit it out of some stuff.

I drilled torque a lot and that was fun - getting better I think and I am at EC right now having just been playing with James! He worked hard and hit a new move that will post in about 1 minute!

yeah I tried it out of whirr but it was too hard for me. I'm sure I can hit that link eventually though.

Just a quick report to say right now it is snowing outside. Currently not hard enough to settle on the ground at all but if it does it will be first time that snow has built up on the streets of Hobart since 1986 so only the second time it has happened in my life time (and I didn't live here in 1986). Pretty exciting I guess.

yeah! it didn't snow here but apprantly it was snowing all along the coast which is a first for a long time... and when i took the bin down the road the lid was frozen on... i had to yank it apart... pretty trippy but
