Bea, Bjoern, Markus, Max and me, the hard-core of munich footbag,
had a great session today - new moves and combos, a lot of nice runs,
and a camera  - i call that a good time :D !

I dont want to give away any details, but Max had one of the best days
of his shred life, as far as i can tell and Bjoern was hitting pure niceness too.

My game was really sad today, it took ages to get in and i can barely
recall two decent strings while i was in the circle.
I managed to get some good moves or combos on tape, but everytime
things started out well, and i hit some good shit, i lost my flow after 10 cons.
 ...it took me like a whole bronze age to hit toe blur, for example
or in one run with plo>smear>ss smear, dlo and some 2's, i drop a ducking clipper !

It was the left overs of two insanly troublesome days in a row,
that threw me, and usually shred's the right medicine, but this time,
i just couldnt put my mind to it, at least in the beginning.
But being pissed off for real wasnt an option either, since everybody
else was busting so fresh - its nice to have a good portion of Max'
abillities on tape finally !

Towards the end of our get-to-gether, when i became too tired to
be mad, i hit some stuff that made me happy :

ss smear>dlo

plo>dso midstring

2 runs with 6 pixie moves each

plo>dlo both sides

tapdown
:P

The session was indeed very cool :) We should film more often! Everybody played really well! (Also you Daryl!)
While warming up I set some new personal records:
8x Smear good side
6x Smear flipside
16x Pixie Legover 8)
Xx Tap I can't remember how many I did in a row but I think at least 5. I was happy with my runs too, wich I'm not too often. Anyway I started one run with DLO > Smear and I did different Stepping moves. My runs felt good and my confidence is up but in some runs I had to do a Toe stall :( Wich sucks and destroys the whole flow! Hmm about 2-3 weeks ago I hit 7x Ducking clippers ;)

That session was goodie.

Before the session, at work, I hit in full clothing, and all for the first time:
toe set symp rev whirl - both sides
toe set ss symp rev whirl - both sides

toe symp rev whirl>far symp rev whirl!

at the session, I hit:

Magellan>Magellan>Pixie Legover>Pixie Legover>Smear>Dimwalk>Pdx Mirage>Pixie drop

Torque>Far Butterfly
(finally!)

and

FAR SYMPOSIUM REVERSE WHIRL>FAR SYMPOSIUM REVERSE WHIRL

@ Jochen
I guess the trick gets no pdx because of the direction of the dex, but on the other hand pdx illusion has the pdx add. But it doesn't matter, it's a cool trick though :)

6. August 2005
I had an nice solo session this morning. I mostly drilled things I neglected in the last time. Drifters and Spinning, both worked quit well. I hit Ducking Butterfly bs and Osis > Whirl bs. And I really want to play footbag more often this summer, maybe 5 times a week :)

Hi Jochen, no nobody of us will be in Frankfurt this weekend :(

But we, at least I'm playing, quite often even :)
8. August 2005
Due to the bad weather I went down in the shred cave to give some love to my Atomic set. After warming up I started doing Atomic set to handcatch over and over, then I realized that I never practised my flipside Atomic before :) I just happend to work from time to time and so I used it ;) But I have problems playing out of e.g. an Tap on my flip. I only managed to connect two Taps, but my flip Legbeater is coming along. (I have to hit Rubberman before Viktor from Dortmund does ;)) In the middle of my session Beatrice went down to say hello but the shred fire caught her and she joined in for some runs, that was really cool! Did I mention that she hit her first 4 > 4 > 4 on Sunday??? But I won't tell wich combo :P Anyway I also drilled Dimwalk > Pdx Mirage a lot I continued as until I had hit the combo 10 times on each side, since I kept repeating the combo on the other side (Dimwalk > Pdx Mirage > Dimwalk > Pdx Mirage > Dimwalk > Pdx Mirage...) I hit it may be 30 x on each side :) What I'm not happy with right now are my Osis!
And I was very close to a new trick, and that trick is just for you DARYL!!! :)

9. August 2005
Another solo session outside on a sidewalk near my house. I mostly drilled Stepping set and a little bit spinning. And I hit a new trick Spinning Legover, I hope thats the right name (I set the spin with my left foot clipper, spin and do the legover with my right foot) Who can help me with the name? I'll taking a break tomorrow and go to donate blood. On thursday I want finally work on my run lenght!!! Any tips?

You're quite on the secret side lately, Max - Ione new move especially for
daryl? and bea hit her first 4>4>4??? Come on then! (PM me at least ;) )

I've been juggling for 10 days now, and the fountain is pretty solid now,
the cascade slowly coming along. I've started juggling with 3 footbags
and incorporating tricks. I hit:

Clipper bsos and osis bsos with fountains in between, ending with
a far symp rev. whirl

far symp. rev. whirl>fountain :)

juggling is fun! :)

on sunday, I'll leave good ole' Munich and head to the Isle of Gomera /
Canary Islands with my girlfriend. The two of us, 2 backpacks and a tent.
Can't wait.

See you back in september! (I'll be back on the 3rd)

11. August 2005
Solo session in the olympic park. Nothing special. Worked a little bit on sets and spinning. I also went for runs but for some reason I exhausted very soon (blood donation yesterday?) But I did 160 kicks exactly for warming up 8) Anyway after the shred I did some running for cooldown, when I saw two kids at the high jump. I asked if I can jump two. We started at 1.25 m wich I mastered with the "Scissors technique", from 1.40 m on I switched to the "Flop technique", I easily got over 1.60 m but failed twice to go over 1.70 m, then I finished high jumping :) 1.60 m was my record back in my athletic days. And today I jumped barefoot and without measuring from where I started up :) That felt so good, and I also told the kids something about footbag cause they saw me play and were interested. Now I'm going to watch a fireworks with my g/f.

Puhh I had to find our blog somewhere on page 2 8O

Anyway not too much things are happening in Munich. Bea twisted her ankle on Thursday :( But it's healing quite good and she thinks she can play again next Tuesday. On Friday I tried to play in my Lavers again, it wasn't that different from the G's. But the cushion in the G Units is definitely better than in the Lavers!
Here are some tricks/combos I almost hit during the last two weeks:
Blurry Whirl > Pdx Whirl
Pigbeater
Smoke
Sidewalk > Stepping ss clipper > Ripwalk

@ Daryl: Why the hell don't you call us for a shred session! We can't reach you on you mobile phone! So please get in touch with us asap :)
