Silver City Shred Part 2: Rory Dawson

Post by qphox »

Silver City Shred Part 2: The Experimental Rory Dawson Special. 3 minutes, 25.5 Mb

It's even more chill than the Jorden video. ;)

Some of the cuts could have been better, but I think it turned out pretty decent overall.

Comments are welcome!

Holy long strings Batman! Very nicely done, Kevin. The transitions of clips worked out really well, giving the impression that I know you wished to portray with this video. The music was very ambient, exercising very nicely to the slow motion of the shred. Then there is the beautiful Edmonton sunset!!

Great job Kevin and good shred Rory!!

It was a great edit, but it was just too mellow for me.

Next video I make (maybe Jonzy), I'll put something a little more driving on the audio track. :) I'll just slip out of this mellow trend for a bit I think.

Thanks for comments!

I D/L the video but it won't play at work, so I won't be able to watch it till tomorrow. but I don't think I commented on how good your editing is with all of your videos. I can't wait to see this. will write more when I see it.

p.s. way to rock the best first name ever

I thought the editing was really good, especially how you used different camera angles and cuts to simulate a continued run. It flowed really well, but it was incredibly mellow (not that that's a bad thing, since you seem to have been aiming for mellowness).
