I too recieved my lavers today!! Except mine are red, I got them for $20 on amazon.

howdy...i think i posted my shoes before,in another thread,that didnt got this great response like this,thoug it was nearly the same topic! :evil:

so here they are again!i moded them a bit,when i was bored at work,thats were i wear them now,and when get bored i shred abit in them!

i opend the toe,means cutted of those side thingies,i cutted off the uper layer of one toe,that toe was trashed anyways,it real thin now and stalls even better...yeah and the soles are fuck ass hell!but i like those shoes to walk around cause theyre comfortable

Hey that "guy" is Daryl "Genzu Blades" Genz, owner of Freedom Footbags and a hard core 4 time world champion. He deserves more respect than that :evil:

since i like shreding barefoot(i´m thinking about entering this online competition on toe strings completly barefoot)i think this whole idea of cutting off the front of your shoe is insanly cool!i mean,no shoe can give u that toebox than your toes!and u have the advantage of the inside and outside surface of a laver!so i think daryl´s shoes are the best what i saw so far!

oh wow thanks for the first link!!!!! ive been looking for some climas like that!!!!! they look like the euros kind of , I like the second link shoe better but its not my size , they just look for tight and not as big of toe

Argh -- if only someone would post a link to some size 8 ones. I've been scouring every other day and no luck. :-p Does anyone on here have any size 8 climacools they'd be willing to sell me?

yeah my 520s i tried to cut the eyelet stitching, and it came loose alll the way around the toe! I had to keep re shoo gooing it :lol:


Did you just cut out the inside material?

naw they came black... I admit they look pretty WACK, but man they feel just like slippers! If it wasn't for the rip in the sole on the front of the right shoe(the one on the left in the bottom pic) they would be perfect!
Just ordered a new pair to start BREAKING in
