Modified's Blog
Thanks emily!
The reason for the blog name change is this:
Me, Kamil, and Tom were all just sitting having a rest. Kamil had chips ahoy creamwhiches if i remember correctly. I thought to myself "Hmm... would it be cool if i could wedge one of these in my eye socket?" So of course i had to try!
I place the cookie near my eye, and continue to SHOVE it into my socket. It took quite a lot of force. But it sure wouldnt go in. It was too darn big to get in there. So i removed it from my socket. At that point i see Tom and Kamil staring at me with confused faces. I proudly stated that i was trying to use the cookie as a monacle. I then realized i had crumbs on my eye.
So i wiped em off

Cookie binoculars would probably be easier for you, though for shredding I would recommend the cookie contacts.HenryG wrote:I proudly stated that i was trying to use the cookie as a monacle.

Another thing i forgot from Midwesterns
We were playing four square. i think i was in 1 square, kamil was in 2, reile was in 3 and zeke was in 4. Zeke serves to me... i kick it a few times and kamil made some wise crack about me. Probably my height or something. So i kicked it pretty hard right at him!
It bounced off of his tit, and landed in reile's square
We had to argue if it arced or if it was a spike. Kamil said since it hit a huge slant it arced. We disagreed. I dont remember if we had a hack off or vote. But it was a humorous situation.
I LOVE CIC

Alright here is a fun story.
I was going to the market today to pick up milk and bananas for smoothies. I go in and pick up a gallon of milk for $2.45! Thats outrageous. So i go up to the check out line one of my friends from soccer is working. We exchange hellos and he says "Hey did you hear about McNulty? " (our coach's name). I said no. He goes "oh man you gotta hear this. Dont tell anyone though."
So he explains to me that my coach, who also teaches history at our school was caught having an affair with a student who graduated this last year. This guy is about 30 years old with a wife and 2 kids. I think he got fired and wont be coaching our team anymore. It is super weird because he is someone i would not expect to do that. So shocked right now.
So we are currently looking for a JV coach, as our old JV coach is now varsity coach. What a mess. That would be cool if we could coach ourselves. Well, we can but the school wont let us.

Wow.....
I was at my friends house on the lake, and we were watching the news. It said a storm was coming for us, but we didnt think anything of it. We decide to leave just to be safe, to go to my other friends house who has a basement. We were playing Forza when the power went out. We went up stairs...
We watched the funnel cloud. it kept touching down and going back up. We thought it would just pass, and then it formed a tornado. It was only about 100 yards away from us, and the tornado was about 150 yards wide. We ran downstairs and got under blankets. Im not sure how close it got, but at its closest it sounded like a train was going by right next to the house. We were so so scared. After 10 minutes of this we ran outside. There was a huge branch down in Chris' driveway, and we thought that was the extent of the damage. We proceeded to get out of the driveway and say a tree blocking the road.
We got past the tree and saw the first of the devastation. Across the cornfield a barn and 3 houses were gone. The treeline was completely destroyed. We got our bikes and started riding along the lake. We stayed on the same road for a while and didnt see anymore destroyed houses. But then we turned onto Gailer road. This was where hell was spawned. Every single house on the street was gone. Cars were crushed. Bathtubs were in the road and grass. We walked through it and got yelled at by a cop who threatened to arrest us...
We decided to go back towards chris' house and check out the rich neighborhood on the hill next to it. We rode up.... the first few houses had their windows knocked out but nothing devestating. We keep going up the hill. At the top There were brick houses. WERE. They were all gone. It was pandemonium. After marvelling at the destruction we went on the golf course. It used to be one of the nicest golf courses i had seen, now almost 25% of the huge trees there are strewn about the course.
This isnt even half the story, maybe i will elaborate more some other time, but i am just too exhausted

Wow is right. Props on living to shred another day, and having a story to tell. I'm glad we don't have tornados/hurricanes here.

That's one story...Damn I'm very interested in tornadoes but still I am happy not having to hide in the basement to avoid being hoisted up in the air by a natural disaster which is acting like a big vacuum cleaner...
Holy sh** it sounds so crazy when I reread your text...Glad nothing happened to your mate and you
greetings Julian

I heard that paper and roofing shingles were thrown so far up into the air, they came back down half way to milwaukee. (60 miles away)
Craziness.
None of the 'nados actually hit Madison, but it looks like communities to the north, west, and especially south got hit. I probably was stupid for sitting in the living room the whole time, next to our huge picture window...
I'm glad you made it out OK. (and didn't get arrested)
If there's an effort to clean up and anybody needs an extra set of hands, let me know and I'll be down there in a flash. (as long as they won't arrest me)
I think I need a basement. :O

Depending upon how old you are, you can join them.
A disaster like this reminds you to live while you can, doing what you enjoy...like footbag
If I'm able to go [I'll find out tomorrow], maybe we can set aside some shred time
