lol i thought you meant like leagues and stuff. It would be funny to see like a ranking system like the PGA, but i guess footbag isnt about competition.

The big tournies are in July - Euros and Worlds

The big spring event is Footjam ( and maybe Todexon before but I got exams when Todexon will happening so I got no idea about this tourney).

I guess that are the highlights in the footbag season of a Europe Footbagger.

The German footbag Open are close to Euros and the German Championships are in the end of the summer to close the season for me ...

First I thought that the season is too short and there are not enough tourney but my wallet and available time tell me differently.

There's a ranking system in net, it's used in most tournaments.

I believe the "official" footbag season starts in January and ends in December. If I remember correctly, it's defined somewhere in the IFC rules. I could be wrong though.

For me the season starts when the weather is good enoug to shred outisde, and ends when the weather starts to be bad enough to not shred outside...

Nope, no-else in your town plays because you A) shred inside about 90% of the time and B) you usually end up playing at like, midnight or something silly like that. :P :D

For me there's no specific footbag season - there are outdoor season and indoor season and I prefer the first one.

Yea, but it needs some slight tweaks. The fact that this drunken finn bastard is ranked top 15 is inconceivable ;)

Also, the season ends with Worlds as I remember reading once. Retarded.

I always liked the idea of having like an MLB type league system in which footbag clubs go head to head in shred 30 .

like sometimes you dont even have to meet to compete, just have video of each persons shred 30 and add it up.

Hm... I can't have some really shreds inside. I usually play in my room, and it's too small to shred... But it's big enough to do some training session and practice single moves, and new concepts and etc.... And other option is a gym at school, during some volleyball trainings, but it's only something like 2 times a week, 1.5 hour...

So the season is when I can do shreds everyday....

No one plays in my town too, and I shred always in some public places where a lot of people can see me... But noone seems to be interested with start training footbag. People are mainly interested if the footbag glues to shoe, or if it's made out of plasticine or something like that... But it looks like nobody want to play footbag here...

Footbag all year round for me.

My favorite seasons would have to be fall and spring, because it's cooler outside. Shred in the summer is all right, but I play late in the evening when the sun goes down so I don't keel over from heat stroke. X_X

Because our summers are mostly not that warm it's not such a problem to have shred sessions in the sun...ok it should be warmer and during summer holidays there were many days on which I couldn't shred in the sun because it was too hot but nevermind that...

I fear that winter will force me to search a place to shred where there's no snow on the ground...but I will find something for sure...

Fall and Spring are mostly quite cold and rainy but well, as long as the streets aren't wet I will shred :D

Footbag just rulez, best sport ever
