Yeah, I love it. Like most of Linklater's movies, this one is very much dialogue based. There is not much of a plot etc., but the conversations are all interesting and thought provoking. In particular the scene with David Sosa (the physics guy), where he discusses a deterministic reality vs. a probabilistic reality. Also the scene with Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy, where they sort of continue a conversation that their respective characters had in Before Sunrise. That particular scene is always gets me thinking.

In the last scene, Linklater's character refers to an essay by Philp K. Dick. Its definitely worth a read if you enjoyed the film.

The visuals in the movie is also very stunning, and I think is necessary, otherwise the movie could get very boring (with the long dialogues and lack of story line). I am really looking forward to Linklater's next movie though: A Scanner Darkly (based on the novel with the same name by Philip K. Dick) ([trailers]. It uses the same rotoscoping technique, but more stylized.

Eternal dreams state and lucid dreaming rule!

Lol. I think I mentioned this movie in the thread right below.

Definately a movie for people with interests in sociology and philosophy. The characters that spoke to me were the clearest were the professor talking about how the ongoing WOW is occuring right now, the couple in bed talking about reincarnation and souls, the dude on bridge and obviously the last scene in the movie about the book of acts is incredibly mindblowing.

Dont wanna give too much away for those who havent seen it so I wont say any more.

People who love and appreciate this movie seem to share the common interest of comminication. I met a stranger on the bus, we talked about anarchy, police, the problems in USA and how communication is so important in this world. At the end of the convo I said to him "Youve seen waking life I can tell", and of course he knew and loved it. I also picked up a cute girl in my summer class who I overheard talking about waking life. I just jumped into her convo and shes one of my best friends now.

WATCH THIS MOVIE! Even the animation is amazing.
