Gyro swirling set?

I hit gyro swirling set few times today at pretty high. i was asking if anyone has already invented it and named it or knows someone how has..?

Chris Dean does this set, it's called blistering. Kenny Schultz hit blistering whirl years and years ago...

thats right.. and clean one, not like blazing spinning..

tomorrow i'll try to hit something like blender or torque into that.

If I am not mistaken, Blistering Whirl is in fact a Whirling Gyro Whirl, and so a blistering set is a whirling gyro. Kenny hit Blistering Whirl way back already, and it was a highlight of Raw Shred (one of the first shred tapes actually editted and sold). Some years after that, Ellis Piltz hit whirling gyro mirage and named it Blister. He was sort of reverse-engineering a trick and name in order to give a root to the name and concept, kind of like inventing Blur after Blurry Whirl.

Anyway, back to gyro swirling set: isn't that Slicing? At least, I thought that was what Jorden was doing. Or is there some other component in slicing that I'm forgetting?

Oh, yeah, now I remember. Actually, isn't that rev. swirl also symposium?

I guess that maybe there is no name for a gyro-swirling set, but don't quote me, I don't keep track of all the various "sets".

All these sets happen so fast, its hard to say whats happening first, the dex or the spin. So a real fast blistering set kinda looks like a gyro swirling set. Takumi was hitting something like this at worlds. I thought it looked like gyro swirling, but when I got him to hit it in front of other people, they thought it was like a blender set (not whirling spinning). They`re all real similar imo. Props on the very cool set.

Yeah, I've always thought of it as a blender set, but lately I haven't been able to tell if it were a whirl or a swirl dex, especially on my flipside. The spin and dex really happen at the same time so I don't think there's any technical way of discerning between the two.

i am now hitting splicing sets, hopefully to mirage tomorrow (jam in rochester!!! going great!)

ive also cleared splicing stepping (does this have a name?), im hoping to hit it to op butterfly soon.

Today i finally hit Gyro swirling mirage!

And now i belive i invented a new set because blistering set (whirling gyro) is definately different. So, if enybody alse hasn't hit enything out of gyro swirling i would like to name it. i will think few days whats name of that set gona be. i'll try to film it if someone does not undestand the idea of the set.

Takumi hit that set at Worlds (but I didn't see him hitting anything from it), so I doubt that you invented it. Props anyway!

Right, so if nobody alse hasn't hit anything out of the set, i like to offically name Gyro swirling set as Airing set (thats because my last name is Airinen

). So if blurry mirage is Blur and phasing mirage is Phase, then Airing mirage is Air

.

oh, and almost forgot to tell that actually Aleksi gave an idea for the name Airing.

EDIT: Yes he did, but he didn't say that someone has hit something out of that.

But in my opinion Airing is one of the best set names there is and Air isn't a bad name at all.

ok, i am taking easy.. but i don't have to ask every single footbagplayer in the world that have they hit gyro swirling mirage. So if somebody really has hit it BEFORE me, then tell me.. i wont name the set then. but if no one hasn't, why don't you let me name it?

EDIT: I have already asked from jorden..godamn, i don't really understand this that why do we have to ask everybody about this..it's just one single set..i think Takumi or somebody alse wouldn't mind so bad if a name that set..

Either Jorden or Takumi MIGHT have hit something out of that set, so let's hear Jorden and Ken before naming anything.
