Yeah, we have... but unfortunately our Tour is in the same term as Vuelta, it starts on the 12th of September, and ends on the 18th. So the last week of Vuelta... This mean that pro tour's teams will not be in their strongest compositions... But some great riders will be here too, for sure....

----------------------------------------------------

I played 4square first time on Euros. It was greate time. Really funy game. No matter if you win, or not. It's still fun. It was great to play with Steve G., Dylan Fry, Kolo, Ales and others. Smart Legs crew from Warsaw were playing 4square all the time! hehe ...
It was really funny to play 4square on afterparty in club "Ibiza"... We were playing outside the club... I couldn't hit the bag! It was too dark, and .. you know what :P ...

I remember Steve's "perfect" (as he called it) 4square field... Haha!
Steve is great person. He wanted to learn polish. He was asking about polish wordds and etc... After te finals he was asking about some ortographicall rules too (he couldn't belive that I know the word ortographical :P) ...
I remember when about 10 polish people were teaching Steve and Ales some unpolite words. They got everything really fast ;] After some time Steve started to make his own sentences ;] A lot of laugh... Of course we told them what they are saying, so they wouldn't use it in other situatuions...

The party, where we were teaching Steve and Ales unpolite words, was the best party on Euros. Every drink was only 6 PLN (about 1,5 euro)...

At the beginning we organized some "breakdance" battle (actually it was brakdance battle = lack of dance battle :P)... Poland vs. the rest of the World... It was hard to find rest of the word team members. Everyone was so shy :P ... I was running throught whole club and was asking people if they want attend it :P ... When Felixa said "no" I got an idea... I asked him if he will give us some nice beatbox, and he said yes, and he looked really happy that we want him beatbox for us, and couldn't wait for the time of the battle. Dyaln Fry and Baptist from Bordeux (sp?) were in the World team... And then Caro from Montreal joined them! O shit... All of them were dancing really good. We didn't know that they are so good at dance battles :P Baptist was awesome. He did some nice breakdadnce moves. We, polish people, can't breakdance, so we were doing some silly dancing moves. Don't know how mine dance looked, but I hope that it was funny :P

Ok... I will write more another time...

Nice session yesterday... Worked on flipside Pixie. Hit 3 consecutive smears on flipside! Yeah! ... And Then Worked on Stepping set... I hit Ripwalk > Ripwalk > Ripwalk > Ripwalk > Ripwalk > Ripwalk ^_^ 6 Ripwalks in a row... The first time I've hit more than 2 Ripwalks!... Hit 3 cons. Stepping ss Clippers too (on strongside)...

Then Started some shred. Hit 4xRipwalk to a run, and some other stuff. Some nic runs, and other things... everything on tape...
I need more shred for my vid...

Then I crashed on bike when coming back from shred :\ I was riding fast on the road, and this fucking bust started to overtaking me.. It was so fucking close! 10 cm from my left arm... I got scarred and I wanted to be on the green belt, next to road, as fast as possible... But there was high kerb before the grass and I wanted to go oveer it, but I was going too fast, and too parallel to it so the wheels started to grind on it, and then my bike were gliding and then it felt down, with me on it, and I hit the ground with my right shoulder, and right side of my face... Now my bike is fucked up... And my face is scratched, because I had glasses on it, and when they hit the ground then they started to scratch my face before they came down out of it... So .. My bike is fucked, my glasses are faced, my face is scratched... And I have some head aches and neck aches, because I hit the ground quite strong... And everything is fucked... Fucked bike, fucked glasses, scratched face, sore head and neck! Fuck it!

Today I have to walk to my shred spot.. It will take me about 35 minutes one way... Instead 10 minutes with bike... So I'll lost 1 hour, that I could use for shred...

FUCK!

But I'm lucky that I didn't broke collar-bone, or didn't crash on the concret, or... didn't end my life on the bus front glass, or under bus wheels...

Wim: Yeah, I remember... He got Silver on World Championships in 2000 ...

Yesterday's session was bad... I had some serious stomachh ache... Only one good combo and nothing else...

But after session I filmed some non-footbag stuff for my movie, intro and etc. ...

Started editing the vid... 20 seconds are done ;] I'm starting to feel comfortable with this Adobe Premiere 7 stuff...

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Some Euros stuff:

It was very nice to meet Felix. He's such a cool person, and a true betbox talent. He beatbox only for a year, and he's so awesome... Now he is better than Vasek, I think... You can ask him if he can give some beat from some song, he will do it ;]
He showed me his way to patch holes in footbag. I tried it and it works perfectly! Thanks Felix!
It was nice to talk with him on afterparty and etc. It was funny how worried he was, about when he had to get ouf of bus, because he was sleeping at a motel and he had to get out earlier that everybody... The bus-stop was a little bit after his motel and when the bus was passing by his place he was licke "O Fuck! I missed my stop. Here is my motel. I have to go out!" ...
And he is so modest too... When I was asking about him beatobx for our breakdance battle he was like "? You really want my beatbox? Seriously?" ... And when one young shreder from Poland wanted to take a picture with him, he was like: "Picture with my? Why?" and etc... and on the picture he has really suprised expression on his face... :P
It's so awesome to see him shreding in live... He has such a powerfull style, so energic and agressive... you know... His routine was so good. If he wouldn't drop on last trick he would be the first... no doubt... in my opinion he should be the first, and in many others opinion too, but... on the last afterparty he said something like: Honza is second and he is happy, Vasek is first and is happy, I'm happy too, because I'm 3rd... Everyone is happy, so why to change it? ... I don't remember how exactly he said it... it was one month ago...

Ok. I made my first movie.

http://www.tkk.pl/~ptaku/fbvids/Our%20Best%20Days.avi

It's about 25 MB and it's 4:33 long...
Encoded with DivX 6 ...

Please comment it. Some constrictive critism would be good.
If somebody is interested the song is: Eis - Najlepsze dni

High light from last session:
Hopover > Superfly

It was session without camcorder...

Wow. So many comments on my vid! :P I didn't even know that so many people read my blog :P Thanks guys.

I'm glad that you like my movie.

Yeah .. I will school my Spinnings. I want them so bad...

I would like to thank for the comments one more time.

Next session in a row... It was 7th... I'm getting used to shreding everyday ... It starts to don't matter that I shreded yesterday when it comest to shred... I feel almost like on my first session. Every session is solo and is 2 to 3 hours long... It's so much shred-time ;]

This session was 2nd withouth camcorder. I want to school more and play to people that are watching me sometime, no to the videocamera.

Superfly felt quite good today. I've hit it to handcatch about 20 times, and about 3 times to Osis > something else...

Drilled Stepping again. I've hit new, for me, drill: Sidewalk > Ripwalk [rpt]
Drilled Double Downs (as on every session). Got 20 contacts of Paradon > Pdx Mirage [rpt] and did Barfly > Barfly > Barfly for the first time... and then I did it one more time... Strongside Barfly felt super-consistent all the time...

Flipside Pixie felt better today too. I think that I will be able to use it on Polish Championship in my shred30...

Hit new Butterfly record: 35

On warm-up I've hit a combo with over 200 clippers (Far Clipper > 20 ss Clips [rpt]).. it was something like 207-210...

Today I bought new shorts too. It's 2nd new pair in 3 days. The first one you saw on video - I'm talking about these black AC Milan replica shorts with red stripes. They are super-cheap and super comfortable. The fabric is really thin and don't adhere to my legs when I'm sweaty. And they're only 15 PLN (about 5$). So today I decided to buy next pair. I bought a replica of Germany national team shorts... Yes... they looks like Vasek's shorts that we all could see on vids from Montreal and other comps in previous year :P The two main diffrences are that mine doesn't have an ADIDAS logo and insted of 3 white stripes, they have 4 :P ... They were only 15 PLN too...
Ohh I have to add that when watching Worlds vid I saw that Ken Somolinos have the same shorts as my AC Milan replica shorts... Maybe I'm wrong, but I suppose that this are identical shorts to mines....

Ok ... I'll end on that... Next shred tomorrow.

Really nice video! I loved the Stepping Pickup > Grifter combo, the Grifter was soo deep 8O . Your style is definitely getting better, and your control is way up. If I could advice something, try not to play with this big tree in the background, because it makes it hard to see you, if you played with the sky in the background it would look perfect! Props.

I second Ners. I also want to say that for me this movie is a bit too long. I think 3 minutes for such a video is good enough. But inspite of that I think your first production is cool! I see a progression in your game. Grifters were nice. BAP drill was nice. Many long runs was nice! Props :).

Thanks Aaron, Cod & Ners.

It's hard to set the camera properly for me because I don't have any tripod. It's hard to avoid trees in the background because trees are all around my place to shred. The other thing is that I'm a bit worried that someone will steal my camcorder so I have to set it up in some not so noticeable place, usually close to some wall, next to my backpack and other stuff. Other problem is the lack of wide-converter so I have to set it a bit far away from me, and I don't think it's possible to film with the sky in the background in this case...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I had 8th session in a row yesterday. I wanted to write about it straight after, but when I almost ended my post my computer rebooted and I lost everything...

So I had session...
After warmup I schooled my Double Downs (as every day) the I moved to some other things. I was drilling flip Pixie and both Steppings a lot. I see lots of progress on them. I've hit a run with Stepping ss Clipper BS, Sidewalk BS, Ripwalk BS, Stepping Legover BS, and another one with lots of Ripwalks (something like Ripwalk > Butterfly > Butterfly [rpt] > Ripwalk > Ripwalk > Butterfly >[rpt] > 5x Ripwalk > butterfly .... I don't remember exactly...)
I hit a nice run with flip pixie too, there were Pixie ss Clipper, Muted Pixie Clipper, Smear, Dimwalk > Smudge... I have some really serius problems with doing trick with Pixie > same leg dex - like Parkwalk, Magellan.. it's really hard to set good for them, for me, on the flipside, don't know why.

Then drilled Rev-ups on both sides, and then moved to Spins.
I was doing Spinning Clippers first. Got 5 consecutive on each side. Then Peeking Clippers (or as you call it: Gyro Clippers), and Spinning Osis'.
I did Spinning Clipper > Peeking Clipper [rpt] and hit new move. It's:

 Spinning Drag

For those who don't know Drag is when you move your foot from dragon to outside delay behind your back.
Spinning Drag is cool feeling move. Then I hit Spinning Drag > Osis > run ... This link felt very, very cool...
And to end drilling spins I schooled Spinning Illusion/Mirage, Gyro Illusion/Mirage, Spinning Butterfly.

Today I'm going to shred too...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When reading Matt Cross's tips about swirl some memory from Euros brought back.
I remember when I was trying to hit PS Twirl before or during some competition and Matt was walking past, and he saw me and asked if I'm trying to hit Symposium Twirl. And I said that I'm trying to hit Ps Twirl, and he wanted to see some tries. And I hit it when he was watching and he gave me some props and then I told him that I learned Twirl when he posted a topic with Twirl tips, and he was like: really? Cool? I love to hear things like that...
I just wanted to give you this short storry :P Maybe it doesn't sound as cool as it was, but it's a glorious occurence that I hit PS Twirl for the first time straight to face of someone, from the totaly other part of the worlds, who caused the fact that I learned Twirl ...

Had a session yesterday... I haven't hit anything... It was weak session. I had a camcorder with me, but didn't even take it out from the backpack...

But however... It was 9th in a row :P .. If next weak session will be on 15th in a row, or later, I'll have some theory about the frequency of weak sessions ... of cours in my case...

I was sleeping over 10 hours today :P I got to bed at 00:10 am, and woke-up at arouond 10:40 am...

I wan't to eat a lot and drink plenty of liquids...

The weather is turning bad... But I hope that I'll be able to shred every day without breaking the string...

!0th session in a row was yesterday :P

Jus a calm session... on other spot than all previous session.

I didn't hit nothing special. Some uncommon links and other stuff.

When drilling stuff I hit Paradon > Reverse Swirl on flipside. Flipside Paradons are more and more controled...

After warmup and then some drilling I set my camcorder and taped some stuff. Nothing extraordinary... Some about 15contacts runs with some nice feeling links.
But I'm not happy iwth what I've got on tape...

I want to shred today too.

Maybe I'll tape something good. Or maybe I will not tape at all. We'll see...

Yesterdays session was just average. Nothing special. No very good runs... I've got some aches in my left leg muscle... I'm talking about guadricipital muscle. But it won't stop me from shreding ;]

Hit new tricks:
 Inspinning Osis
 Toe Inspinning Clipper
 Toe Inspinning ss Mirage

And some link:

Spinning Pickup > Paradon > run

(have something else on the tape but I don't remember :P)

It was 11th in a row...

I Wanna shred today too.

Maybe I will have some guest to shred with. But nothing sure.

Hit:

 Osis > Inspinning Clipper > Osis
 Inspinning Clipper > Spinning Clipper
 nothing else

Got wet when going back to home... I haven't got any rain-resistant jacket.

Tomorrow there will be my 18th birthday... You know... In Poland it means that I become an adult...

I'll play tomorroww for sure... B-days without shert? Nah...
