I had a solo session last night.
The usual Monday night session was called off due to a work thing I had that involved a free movie, popcorn and coke. Can't say no to that.
I ended up leaving the cinema's a complete fucking mental wreck - the things I put myself through
I have this obscine ability to completely over analyse every little thing with every girl I'm interested in. As a result, it leaves me mind-fucked and hateing myself.
So I decided to take the long way home.
About half way there, I decided that I really needed to clear my mind. I really needed to play footbag.
Fortunately, when I got home, my sister was cool with me playing in the garage - with tunes - saving me a drive out to the Griffith Uni carparks to shred there.
I played for about an hour, listening to the Chemical Brothers. I mucked around a bit, but schooled my stepping set (BS - of course
). I didn't hit anything important - footed alot, but nothing sealed - and finished up about 11:45pm.
All I can say is... I probably would have commited suicide a long time ago, if it wasn't for footbag. And that's the honest truth.

We made it into the hall of fame!!!
Thanks to Hagsey.
Dude, you rock!
It's nice to know there are non-ausies reading this (Henry doesn't count - I think he's been adopted by Alex, Jesse and Robin).
Thanks to Hagsey.

I've really not felt like playing much of late.
Daniel Boyle has come up from the ACT, but wont be kicking with us untill Monday night. Still, I was almost thinking of trying to organise a shred with Foxy tonight, and yet I didn't.
I think it's due to exhaustion. Today is my tuesday (actually being Sunday - it's fucked up working a rotating shift), and today and yesterday I was left too tired to play. I'm lifting pavers all fucking day and it's not looking good for the comming new year. I can tell that it's going to be stupid crazy paver season again.
So I just watched the 10th instalment of the Jordan series of mind-fucks and was tempted to shred - but I've had too much to drink, so it wont be happening. That and I've got an early start tomorrow. I think I'll probably have a sleep on my lunch break tomorrow, to try to make it through the shred tomorrow.
I'd like to see someone hit symposium whirling swirling osis!
It's quite depressing that it's been a week since my last shred. That was the solo session I had last monday night after the movies.
I'd like to play more - to school more. However, I just can't get motivated to play. I just wish Foxy would call ME up asking if I was keen for a session, rather than me calling him each time.
The other depressing thing is that he's unsure about going to Melb next year. I know he enjoys playing, and I know he'd love it when he's there... It's just the issue of trying to get him motivated to go (And I thought I was hard to get motivated
).
I'm glad Jesse's going hard and hitting some cool shit. It's just annoying that he's not able to make it to the Monday night shreds. I get alot out of playing footbag with him. It gives me someone to learn off, again.
Oh well. I'd better email all the qld kickers and tell them about the shred tomorrow night - Caroline, Luke and that's about it. Jesse won't be able to make it and Foxy should be there.
Sigh.
Something's ill, but I don't know what.
It's prolly the shit that's going on at work.

Man I know what you mean. That's me all the time the only way I get to play with others is when I trip down to melbourne... My sessions are quite random usually 2 a week tops... usually not even that actually... it's hard to motivate... for me it's just plain laziness... i'll play a lot this week tho cause I got a camera from church, i'm filming tomorrow
hope the motivation returns and works eases off buddy, have a good one!

Just had a session with Daniel Boyle. Foxy didn't play tonight because he was feeling sick and it was his birthday today.
Caroline turned up and played well for her, and we were also joined by Luke - a young guy I used to hack with back in the day.
Daniel was hitting some cool combos. Dimwalk>Torque>spinning osis was way cool, and he had some nice ducking combos, too.
I played ok. I only had a few good runs with tripwalk, some dimwalks, smears, osis, ss butters and stuff involved. I hit dimwalk>ripwalk again, but I'm still unable to get anything other than a kick to seal it.
Can't talk too much longer. It's late and I got an early start tomorrow.
Thanks again to Daniel for giving me someone else to kick with. I look forward to seeing him again in Melbourne, next year.

Nice, it is good to see danial is still kicking and improving.
SESSION NO 1
LENGTH 2HRS
MUSIC: AT THE DRIVE IN (IN CASINO/OUT)
DAFT PUNK (HUMAN AFTER ALL)
ARMIN VAN BUUREN ( A STATE OF TRANCE DISC 2)
THE SHRED
Overall last night wasn't a bad session. I drilled for an hour and 15 mins and shredded for 45mins. I drilled my alt butters, they seemed pretty solid, so i moved on to stepping. I was drilling stepping op legover to start with on both side. My good side responded well, flipside not so good. I then drilled ripwalk and blur on my goodside as well.
Then i shredded. Some nice runs. I felt so in control of the bag. People say go guiltless as fast as you can, fuck that, hitting lots of 3's in a run with lots of 2's as well feels so good.
The shiznaz i need to work on today.
osis
ducking
stepping
diving.
peace.
How many times a week do you play gareth.

I try to play at least once a week - Monday night shred with Foxy (usually).
Hagsey, don't listen to what everyone says about going guiltless as fast as you can. Work on your stamina and run length. Just keep the bag up and work the harder tricks into your runs slowly. Make the change to guiltless a gradual thing and you'll be playing better for it (in my opinion).
You still comming down in October? It's my birthday on the 11th of Oct, I've chosen to skip the guiltless level of drinking, and move up to fearless

So juvenile Jeremy. Oh so juvenile.
hmmm
Today was kind of lame. Dunno why.
I have a detention for getting 3 demerits in one week. My first since last year. I will probably find a way to get out of it
As for footbag..I did a little bit this arvo with Matt, in school shoes. Didnt really try much. Not feeling at the top of my game.
Science exam tomorrow. I have a short indian lady as my teacher. Fricken hell she is a bad teacher. I guess we do kind of take advantage of her sometimes...
We used to play the Penis game, where one person says penis and the next has to say it louder. The loudest person won. We would get so loud that we couldnt tell the winner because we were all yelling as loud as we could HAHA. Anyways, from not really listening or studying in class I got the worst mark in any subject EVER. C+
So I am gonna study my ass off tonight and aim for an A. I think I got a good mark on my science assignment anyway.
anyways, better get to studying
Cya
