So I've had 3 pretty stelar jams since last I posted so here goes.
On Sunday I drove to Steve G's house on the south west bay. I met dustin R. He has tons of potential. Once he has a few years under his belt hes gunna be great. Dat showed up and the 4 of us shredded it up, YEAH steve included! It was lots o fun, I wasn't on my game very well, but I never let that bumb me out, its better to pretend like it was an awsome shred than complain the whole time.. I think everyone was in the same boat! So we did great! After some 2 square, witch steve dominated in, we went out to eat at Johnny Rocket's. Steve had some awsome stories about worlds and his posible new house, and he even covered the bill cause he kicks ass! His car is dank too, we watched the champions league on the way home.
On monday I learned some new chord melodies and had an interesting conversation with my ex girlfriend. Lots of emotional termoil ahead I have a feeling...I can't wait

On tuesday I went to San Fran and shredded it up with Torch and Carol W. It was great to see Carol again. She was throwing down hard! Such great style and fun links. Ahren and I weren't on our games and Ahren hurt his toe on his patonted atomic knee bumping ducking dragon fly. It was still lots of fun and we got some nice comments from the tennis players. On the way home Torch treated me to a burito and beer for some gutitar lessons(or because I'm a broke mooch

) and the food was amazing, SF food is all its hyped up to be, unlike Cold Stone ice cream. Later that night we(tu, torch, there friend phil and I) went to a free "pre" showing of "the 40 year old virgin". It was hillarious. People in cali like to clap at movies, witch I found odd, but everyone had a good time. The movie is much more ronchy than I thought it would be. Great movie but don't go see it with your parents. Later that night torch and I schooled some jazz lingo and drank some awesome beers. Another sweet day in SF, sad to think I may only have 1 more before I return to oregon. Lets get Tu in on the last one ehh torch hahaha!
Wed (today??wow!!!) I wake up ealry and hit the public transpot home. 15 min later I meet up with Sr Grommet, Grommeta, and Mox-a-million. It was nice to see all of them again. We went to the mid west bay and met up with Reid S. We shredded it down! Mox and Amelia were representing very well, I saw lots of improvements! Jeremy is tight and has lots of big ass moves, ripstein, triage, nuclear swirling set, and furiouse like its a joke. I was finnaly "ON" my game and I was realy stoked about that..lots of 5s, more 20+ than not, and a legbeater away from rubberman twice(to answer your question Dave). Ried is realy good to! He hit mullet rake, 2 locomotions in a run, and lots of spins and ducks witch always puts a smile on my face. After Ried had to do family stuff the remaining gang came to my place and we had meatloaf and salad, and watched TV. Em and J played some "crotch ball" and we all watched the 3 new worlds vids that were put out. Witch I'm going to rewatch now after I pour myself a mudslide. so today I became one step closer to becoming a complete freestyler...
I hit rumberman
I dialed in motion
I schooled fairy
I owned whirling swirl

I'm floating on cloud nine right now, I'm so pumped. I'm home alone till monday and I have a Oaktown/San fran JAM lined up for saturday and a Sana Cruz festival to hit up on sunday. SHould be tizzight!!!
I'll do another write up on monday...

so saturday I hit up oaktown around noon. After doing some chillin tsiang and I went to the park to shred it up. Apparently the summer season is over in oaktowncause the tenis courts were open and we kickied there for the first time. We had a short session as neither of us were feeling particuarl inspired, and we had chores to get to back home anyway. So we get back and I learn how to bolte homebrew. Tsiang started a suction, then filled bottles and I capped them. It was a fun process and drank a few beers during the process. Seeing how I hadn't eaten anything all day and had a kick session I caught a nice buzz. We then went out to eat at barney's a delux burger joint and all was well. After the BART ride home I took the dogs for walk and packed up for the trip south.
At 8 I head out for Santa Cruz. Its a very windy drive with not very confusing directions, but I take a wrong turn about a 1/4 mile from Koolchicks place and arive about 10 min pff schedual. When I arrive Em, Jeremy and Amelia are there chilln out. We play some poi, drink some beer, play with some new bags, post some stuff on modified

, and have a general good time. I stay the night at the koolchicks and wake up without any cat attacks witch is always a plus.
So there is a jam going on at the park on sunday..some local hip hop, frisbee, hack and BBQ. Em J and I shred it up a bit..laer amelia and big K show up. Unfortunatly I'm already pooped...I need to learn to strech my sessions out like Mirk can. I walk away from the jam with a SWEET ASS bag that I'll be posting pics of late tonight.
Looks like next sunday will be my last bay area jam SO ALL MY HOMIES BETTER SHOW!!!!!! good times will be had.
Lots of music till then, with some solo shred in between.

Had a good session in stanford today. The Koooolchick showed up and we took the dogs for a walk and ate some good food. Steve called and said we were gunna hit lots of trafic and would probably be late for the session. Instead we kicked that drives ass and did it in the minimum amount of time. Stanford is a realy nice campus, it realy made me wanna get back to eugene for the first time all summer. I'm stoked to get back to colege life. Plus seeing that ericsomthing guy might be nice

If he has some herb for me that is....hahaha.
So Ben and dustin showed up for the sessiona and with steve em and I that made a 5 person circle. I think we all did pretty well. My pdx blenders were feeling on and I had a run that Steve said was Ryan Mulrony esq...Witch was a huge compliment! Also fairy, whirling swirl and motoion are all coming along nicely. After shred we played some 4 square and Steve owned of course. SO I officialy retired my shoes, witch is kinda sad, they were awsome. We also played with the "freestyle reality" bag, witch shreds real well.
after the session Em and I went back to fremont and had some more awsome food. i've been eating so well lately, it'll be wack going back to college food. Ohh well...Now I'm gunna go do some sight reading and maybe work out later tonight, wich I've been getting in the habit of doing. Anything to stay away from inxs, wich is on the TV...BLAHH
HUGE shred on sunday in SF. Till then enjoy modifizzzzied.

Just finished the last of probabky around 20 cali sessions. 4 pages of blogs to go read... SO glad I typed about some of it(LA trip, SD trip, SF ,oaktown, MOXIE, thomass, gromsses,portland...

... I'm glad I've gotten to know so many cool bay area people...

What a bummer....NOW all I have to look forward to is a week with peter Irish + matt cross, funtastiks, than a month partieing down in my new HUGE place with my roomate's-hot-girlfriend's-friends and daily schooling with my best bud... poor me

jorden isn't going to be there. This will be my first tournament in a year that lon smith isn't at...Don't know why I had to add that but I did

Last year no vid came out from Funts except for like a video camera 15 second thingy. Maybe it was cause people were pooped from worlds.. maybe this year will be different, maybe not. Should be fun either way. Stoked to play with the clever, gordon and the rest of the east coast scene again!
BTW how the hell did you not get a bubba beater in one of my runz on your video Aaron, I threw like sixty two hunder of them that weekend?

I've been doing nightly barefoot sessions lately, my toe game is getting realy comfortable. I would suggest to anyone reading this to put some time into your barefoot game..Jorden, Vaska and Lon all did and they turned out alright

Tonight I hit smog>hand>flip smog>hand>pig beater>hand>flip pig>hand. that felt good...I've never hit pigbeater with shoes b4..I'll have to try in the next week.
So I might not post again for a week or I might post daily depending on how the internet is working because in 5 hours I'm...
