Thanks JD, props accepted
So, me and James head out to see Kobayashi (sp?), an amazing jazz/electronica/hiphop band. Imagine Portishead with a bit more upbeatness to is, and with 2 saxes, it was soooo good. Spent the night boozing and dancing, it was so rad. I've used the word "So" alot, because I need to emphasize the fact that they fucking rocked the joint to little itty bitty pieces when they played. We finished the show and James slept over at my place.
Next day, wake up with a hangover at around 1:30pm, and head out to Tutti Fruttis, this massive breakfast restaurant not too far from where I live, where we proceed to munch down an ENORMOUS breakfast. Mine was 5-6 pieces of bacon, 2 sausages, a slice of ham, 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, potatoes, and 3 pieces of toast, with all you can drink coffee. I ate it ALL, except for the coffee, which I drank. James had a similarily gigantic plate which he ate at a respectable pace.
NOW heres the fun part: SHRED!!! We head out the Angrinon metro station, where we proceed to shred for a couple hours and bust out some Hein combos.
James was on FYAH, I had to back off on several occasions lest my arm-hair get singed. He had a pride of long strings all day long, with some big combos the whole time. Blurry Drifter > PS Whirl like a joke, blurriest BS, Mobius BS, and a bunch of really styly links. Blenders like cake. Oh and almost ALL his strings are genuine. I mean only a butterfly and osis for example in a string of 25 or so. CRAZY stuff!
I took a while to get warmed up but I busted some pretty big things too. Had Blazing Mirage, Blazing Butterfly, and Spinning Whirl all BSOS in the same strings. Cant think of any examples, but just super long strings with some pretty big moves. Whirling Swirl BSOS, which was my first time, was cool. Jani's midstring, and a string that started with Fury and had about 5-6 other 5 adders in there, definetly badass. I had plenty of AWESOME links and variety all day, was def. a good session. Oh yeah Spinning Whirl > Nuclear Legover > Catacomb > Pdx Torque > Pdx Blender, biggest combo of the day. Had a couple 35+ strings too, which felt bombastic.
So stay tuned till next time..

alright my first session with the homies for 7 months!
Was really nice playing with everyone even tough I had absolutely no juice, mostly small runs
I broke my 3add string record to 5 contacts
pixie legover > pixie legover > buterfly > pdx mirage > symp mirage
not so much difficulty worthy but it beats legover mirage legover smear..
as for the others, I really liked seeing new phat combos from nic! seeing a wirr on is flipside was really cool!
Marc is getting longer strings, still with lots of pausing between each move, i really dig that style, you need to play more often!
Koa is getting sooo much better! its really cool seeing him duck a lot now
Kolo is still old smelly kolo! but he doesnt count ive been playing for the last weeks with him
Also met Julien from quebec, hes doing good, but I hope he will work is flipside clipper moves that are so much laking
, I think hes going to be pretty good by next year!
and finally, ive footed, to my huge surprise, a ripstein.. wtf? i didnt control it and droped it but still, i was f*cking amazed seeing the 2 clean dexes and the bag droping right on my sweet clipper spot on my foot.. but its meaningless, I need to start by controlling my swirls
Ill try it again when im warming up, but not going to invest time trying it untill a long time.

Mathieu, your legs got SO skinny I cant even believe it. You used to have treetrunks like me (Actually a bit smaller) but now you play on twigs. You've definetly improved a shitload as well.
Yesterday kicked with C to the G, which was a surprise, hadn't seen her shred in quite a while. I'll stick with my 6 months earlier opinion of her having the best looking osis in footbag too.
I busted HEIN shred that day too, COMPLETELY surprising since my legs hurt so much. I dont remember much of it but it was always like 25+ contacts full of 5s and 6s and weird links, it felt great. Im in full footbag form nowadays, everything is on and I feel improvement for the first time in a long time. Swirl > Osis x6, or something, by far my record. Flip pdx torque, which is one of my hardest moves, unfortunately I didnt nail any more flip barflies, which blows. Its BY FAR my hardest concept.
Next kicky is tommorow I think, if it isnt raining, then off to chhhiiilllllllllin in the lounge and dancing to funk music! Boom shaka laka.

Oh man!! Tommy the Mosher!! Dude we can TOTALLY eat some Tacos (if you arent sick of them by now) and bust big silly moves and party all the time!!! W0W!!
Oh and I fucking wrecked it today. I mean it, I MURDERED footbag today:
- Blazing Pdx Whirl... BSOS... first try each time.. and then BACK TO BACK MIDSTRING!!
- Blazing Barfly
- Blazing Drifter BSOS
- Blazing PDX GRIFTER
- Blazing PDX EGGBEATER
- Whirr > Barroque (Apparently clean)
A bunch of other stuff.. I know theres something big im missing mabey I'll remember sometime soon, some new move thats pretty phat. Damn, whatever, im on bragging mode and giving my self a hardon just thinking about how good I am.
Of course, James still has the best style in the world, but I work hard for my 2nd place
Kolo hit his first PS whirl, it was a pretty nice one too. Jean Martin hit some nice whirls too, and all of this from one tip: Point your toes on your dexing leg. It sounds weird for those who dont, but do it, trust me. I dont know why I hadnt thought about mentioning it before, but its really the trick to hitting whirls.
Anyway, enough footsterbation from me today.

shit man. whirlwalk back to back is fucken insane. I really liked the blazing grifter too
the only blazing moves i've hit are butterflys and leg overs.
Hey tom and nicholas, you guys should let the EFC know when your going to jam up in montreal. Maybe we'll be able to come up. Montreal isnt that much of a trip for us, just a straight shot north. like 3 hours.
Would be sick to get back into canada and jam!

Yeah man, anytime anyone wants to come to MTL is good for me. Josh Behnam, the Dealer himself, started a thread in the journeys to tournies section, maybe you guys can it MTL up at the same time?
Thanks Mr. Nelson, will try the barroque without the the. Oh and for the Megadeth thing, theres this big ass metal fest in MTL that im going to which has a lineup like this:
- Fear factory > Anthrax > Symphony X > Megadeth
Hard to beat that combo! At the start theres some other bands, but those are the only ones Im really looking forward to seeing. And seeing is believing.
Anyway, off to shred shred shred, bye bye
ps: Im also the best long haired shredder in the world now!!!! Thanks to everyone who cut there hair. If anyone paypals me 5 bucks ill send them a lock of my perty hair wrapped in a pink ribbon to them.

Me and Eli have the same birthday and my left ass cheek hurts from the spanking I got from Seb today.
We shredded it up at Under Pressure, this Graffiti/B boy/Skater/MC/DJ battle.. competition.. event.. thing. It was OK, lots of really great music, but the place where it was held is in a shifty part of town, so there were some dodgy people bouncing, which was irritating.
Wow I really didnt do anything today, it was pretty bad, but we shredded around 3 hours, which is alot. A few people seemed to like it, and im sure we could have skooled those breakers assess. They were SO bad and we are SO good, AND THEY BETTA REKONIZE!!!!

Huge surprise for me today! I'm just resting while surfing the net, and a sudden my MSN pops, an old friend from college talks to me, telling me hes watching footbag videos (I used to kick with him in school) .. so I tell him to come to place des arts.
btw is name is Frederic
so he shows up right on time
and he has lots of potential.. He can already do toe stalls, inside stalls, clippers both sides, all need work but very advanced for someone who is just starting freestyle! I'm trying to convince him to buy lavers
I will call him so he comes to more sessions
also another good note, Claudia showed up, she's as good as before, just rusty! stop being lazy !
Koa is getting is flip stepping set, some where really nice!
and I hit my first double down

So was kicking with Koa and Mathieu, nothing is working well, and who shows up?!
JOSH MUTHAFUNKIN BEHNAM!!! Wow I was so excited, we spent the night fourquaring, partying and hunting fat chicks!
It was such a great feeling seeing a buddy again! He went off to Quebec after to play some Net while the rest of us keep playing footbag over the weekend
Also, in an un-related issue, note how I dont use periods at all in this post? Isnt that strange?
Hopefully we will be shredding again this week when he passes by!

Whoa cool a whole plethora of responses!
Some of the graffitti was pretty unreal.. there were a few Volkswagon vans there, those old ones that look like blocks of butter with wheels, and man, they had some NICE art on them, it was pretty nuts!
Sorry Dave I dont think Ill be going to funtastiks
I really dont got much cash, again, and im saving up for some new music related stuff. Ill be at Chilly Philly though, promise! You can spank me at pixie sets there, k thanks!
Thanks on the props Maraxus! Id use your real name, but that bugs me since I never met you in real life.. oh well, some tournament, some day! San Diego is DEFINETLY on my TODO list in the next 2 years or so, so we'll hook up for some hacky sack some time!
Today was a little shred gonig on at Place des Arts.. sort of cool. Hit some new stuff like Swifter > Blur, Quantum DLO > Pixie something (Just the fact I hit a set after was pretty cool), but the weather is depressing me, you can really FEEL autumn in the air already. Its like something snapped about a week ago and ALL humidity left in one shot. Its not cold exactly, but not HOT. Just.. hot.
Some guy called Martin showed up and hit a toe set Ducking DLO, which cracked me up, hes been playing less then a year I think and I've never met him before in my life and he busts a trick I cant do right in my FACE!!!
Oh yeah, and my backyard neighbour ALSO is a shredder!! Isnt that fucking awesome?! Hes also into music and stuff, so we instantly buddied up.
Ill end this little entry with this: I wish Kolo would wake up so I could do the dishes.. I mean there are more dishes in my sink then whirling tricks Ive hit today, and thats saying something.
