I hope this incredible reply to your blog doesn't too highly influence your views/blog post ratio Phlegmily Drulczyk.

Thanks, now my roomies have started calling me Phlegmily Drulczyk too. :P Friday I hit my first symposium pixies both sides at a session with Jeremy. I think Amelia and I are going to session soon. Today I learned some html language stuff so I can change a website. It's really neat learning the actual reason for why things are the way they are (and how to recreate/change stuff) instead of using a webpage designing program. (Thanks Mike) :D I had the best day today. I worked, hung out with friends, got hours of learning of fun stuff, then came home and there were 7 or so people in my living room. I hung out with them all until just a few min. ago when I drove some people home. Spun some glowsticks then some unlit poi. 4am now, wow. Tomorrow morning I'm waking up to go to a lake with my roomies. I hope to go to the city on Wednesday. What a good summer this has been.

The lake was SO FUN. Probably my favorite day of this summer. We went out of a row boat for about 4 hours. We took turns rowing; I'm good at turning the boat. We found a little nook and sat in the cool shade in the warm air while Jason fished. I actually fell asleep for a while and had the best dreams.

Yesterday Matt Marks met Amelia and Jeremy for the first time when we went to Matt's house for a late night session. I don't remember much of anything about the actual kicks except that Matt hit clipper several times on one side, a few atw's, and pixies pretty easily. He has improved since the last time I played with him. Then he hit his first mirage. :) Jeremy hit a _____ for the first time, I think. --> An infinity ending on a sole stall instead of a clipper. What would that be, infinity flapper? Anyone? Anyway, we played a game of 4-square then a game of 3-square. I won both. :P

Today Jeremy and Amelia met the personifications of Santa Cruz in a pizza place. :) Then the three of us met up with Ian MacCay at a park. Ian, Jeremy, and I played a game of net. Jeremy got some very good serves/shots in and Ian turned out to be very good for someone who hadn't played before. I did not win. :P It was so fun. :)

Today Jeremy, Amelia, and I picked Nate up in Fremont, the ass of the bay area. Then we went to Reid's hotel which was only block or so away from some very nice tennis courts. There was someone windsurfing on the pond and a little skate park nearby. The weather today was just about perfect. (Each sentence has started with the letter "T" so far.)

I'll use Nate's philosophy about describing my game today: "I did great!" :-P

I couldn't link to save my life. I'm surprised I didn't get super frustrated because I was dropping all day... My last few sessions have been that way. :? When I was doing individual moves I hit strong torque about 5 or 6 times pretty easily. I hit my flip toe drifter for the first time and skooled drifters and stepping sets because they needed it.

Crotchfire was played, yes. Chicago represent.

There are some good pics from recent sessions, some of which are still on Amelia's computer. I have some "real" responsibilities to take care of, but then I can try to update the SCFC site some more and put some pictures up. Until then, please see the new Player Profile page.

8/19/05 Friday

Clumsy people should not play footbag. 2 hour (or so) skooling session with jmir at my favorite shred spot in the area (his too, maybe). There is a shower, electricity, and a view.

8/21/05 Sunday

Today is Sunday- Last night Nate L. drove out so he could come to the kick today at Depot Park. There was an outdoor day party (I know I've mentioned it a few times in my blog now) bbq thing with DJ's playing from noon to sunset. Jeremy, Amelia, Nate, Farzon, and Peter came out and kicked. It was SO hot for a while. A few of the in-towners hadn't met each other yet so it was nice for everyone to meet. It was a fun day. There are still a few people who haven't met everyone else- AJ, MK, and Dr. Ridiculous.

Now, I'm going out. Later, I'll come home and have good dreams and sleep in because I'm off work tomorrow morning.

Almost exactly one year ago to the date, I think--> That's when my mother and I left on our cross-country road trip to get me to California. I've been reflecting on many of the things that I've experienced in the last year. In no order. And I'm pretty sure much of this won't really make sense to most.

Got home a bit ago from a skooling session with Jeremy which lasted about an hour and a half- or two hours, don't know. It went well. I feel like I learned a fair amount but that it won't show for a while.

Today I'm going to restart an old habit.

Today Nate and I hung out then went to the Stanford session. We had good food before and after. Yum. :) The session was fun.

And nice style Dustin, the whole West Coast will be rockin it soon... or maybe just you and a few people in Santa Cruz. :-P

Amelia (Jackbag) and I went to the new favorite spot. The weather was perfect. We played for over an hour and a half then had a fun cool down.

Today I went to a restaurant for lunch because my boss wasn't at work when I got there. I started talking to the cashier (the only other person in the building) about the music he was listening to which at the time was The Mars Volta. He said that he promoted for a local record label "strictly amateur films" and that if I like TMV I would like these three CDs: Honeyhander | Woolly Mannerisms, Dmonstrations | Saf25, and Yip-Yip | Pro-Twelve Thinker. He then gave me a copy of each. Full CDs, not sampler junk. Score! (though I do like sampler junk too.)

On that note, I leave you with this:
