He works night and is sleeping a bit before heading out, so I try and oblige his 8-10 siesta by not making too much noise in the appartment. His room is RIGHT next to the kitchen..

and uhh... I sing to myself when I do the dishes

i love those vans! my older brother used to have one, before he decided buying a car for vintage purpases isn't the greatest idea. Except his was green...mmmm....green butter.

Props on ther swifter>blur combo, and the set off of that quantom. quantom DLO is a sick looking trick.

And whats wrong with autumn? it means not getting your shorts completley soaked in sweat every sess.

Hey Nick, nice work on the links. Have you ever ducked a quantum by the way?
Autumn in Montreal means a comeback of the minus temperatures (celsius) in a month or so.. :!:
And it's definitely not a good idea to disturb Kolo's sleep, he gets really confident, or just suicidal! I remember him shouting at three tough Polish guys drinking vodka at 2 am in the youth hostel hallway in Wroclaw..

guess I'm the onle montreal posting these days..
Marc Giard's party was amazing, altough me and Koa got there too late for shredding with people, so it was mostly a 2 man session.. really fun and we both hit new stuff
he hit nice flip bur's
pogo blur
steping outside legover..

and after seeing him do lots of midstrign toe set DLO i figured I should try it, havent tryed the move in ages, got it first try and also had clip set DLO in it, another move I dont do often...
almost spinning ducking something.. some try's where horrible but some spinning duckings where there, then i go too fast on clipper and its a bad drop
also cool stuff : blind osis > blind osis
or whatever that is called

I want to play soon

Yeah that party was OFF THE HOOK!

Marc Giard went to great personal expense to organize this jam at his place featuring: Footbag, Volleybal, a DMC DJ, and of course, TONS OF HOT WOMEN!!

It started at around 3pmish, we show up and start shredding and it went on until, what, 10pm?! It was insane. At 4:30pm I simply have no juice left and stop, pick up a couple 12s with James and chill while listening to music and checking out all the... footbag :D

Shredwise, James was on fucking fire, as usual. His rate of improvement is increasing and he was ripping it up with his genuine game with sprinkles of 5s thrown in every now and then, very cool.

Ianek... hit.. MONTAGE BS!!!!! God damn! Hes also another AMAZING and unknown shredder from Montreal who can skool me pretty hard some days. Didnt see his game too much that night, but from what I saw he was going off.

Seb was busting long long long strings.. I remember getting the bag, watching Seb on his 10 or 11th contact, did my thing, passed the bag, looked back at Seb and he still had it going! 8O He hit a bunch of 50-60 contact strings which were ridiculous!

Marc Giard himself was shredding hard too, its great to see him progress. Some of the moves and combos he hit were so weird I cant even write them down because Im not sure I understand them very well. Lots of hard dexing moves and combos, with some flails and his classic double spinning reverse whirling dragon stuff.

I was playing on and off, it was pretty weird. It was like DROP DROP DROP DROP DROP 40 move string DROP DROP DROP 35 move string DROP DROP DROP new move.. etc

The strings I had going were really tight though! I dropped them only because I ran out of energy to hit anything else, it felt great. Also hit a whirling ss drifter, which is a cool new move for me.

Eli and Caro also showed up!! Was quite a surprise considering everytime I asked whether they were coming was met with a resounding "NO.", so its cool they made it. Didnt get to see too much, Eli was busting many stepping ducking things and flying moves, was really cool. He has got to be one of the most diverse shredders Ive ever kicked with, he can redefine his style every couple months and introduce completely new concepts into his game with so much ease, its pretty insane!

The DJ was rocking the place like nobodies buisness too, it was great! Lots of great hiphop classics throughout the night, clevery mixed and with some tasteful scratching every now and then. He took a little break around 8ish and put on some tight drum n bass for a while, catering to me and James' by doing so.

Oh and free food too, did I mention that?

All in all, fantastic party!! Im excited for next years' party already! Big props to Giard for making this happen!

I can't describe how cool that party was. It was the music that really topped it off, cuz it was loud and goood, ALL the best songs came on. Then there was two hours of DNB...wow. I had already shredded for like 3 hours and was planning on taking a break but when I heard the DNB kick in I HAD to shred shred shred. I was supposed to hit montage bs too but I failed :(, they're both right there though. Ianik is so goddamn good, he's one of my heros.
The night was too incredible to even start to give it justice. I remember kicking with girls that knew how to kick! Instead of just throwing their legs out randomly, these chicks were ninjas!
And I met some legends...the first freestyler I ever got in contact with with the old email lists: Pierre-Pasqual. I remember him showing me ten clippers on both sides and saying that's what I have to be able to do if I was serious about footbag. And I kicked with his friend Simon who apparantly got him into footbag. I only wish I had had some juice left in me to shred when they were there. Kicking is just as fun though, and you can do it sore and drunk.
I played till I had leg cramps again. Feels so good the next day.
Oh yeah I had the bestest two man shred with Eli for like an hour. I gotta shred with him and Caro before they leave Montreal :(
Props to Marc for tearing it up and throwing an amazing party.

EDITED...DEAL WITH IT

Hi, I`m new here. Does anyone kick in Montreal? I would like to play some leg ball if people are meeting somewhere, preferably in the centreville area. I am only in Montreal for 2 weeks, but if there are any sessions happening, give me a call. Don`t PM, email or reply in this topic to get ahold of me; I`m on the internet cafe once a week plan.

Thanks,
Ellis Piltz

your so oung I cant beleive I had beer's with you before!
Hope Kolo made good sounds for your birthday with the apropriate smell..

on my side also a good note, gyro osis and gyro buterfly :D

a string with ripwalk (gwalk style) bsos..
and one big string with osis>osis right in the middle sealed with a lame pickup :)
and finally, my first bop! Not flipside yet.. flip osis is bad still and sets are rarely good, but once I get this I will drill bop's mad so I can get lots of control on those 3 moves wich will help me to regain strength to do bigger moves

Wow amazing session today.. everyone was playing so well
At first I was alone.. warmed up and Augustin showed up, he gave me a good tip for wirls, and first try I hit pdx wirl ! I was really happy to finnaly know what I did wrong and what to do.
I also hit blur, steping ss pickup, and atom smasher all for first time!

Nick was doing "Laroche" stuff, some sick amazing combos so original that writing them could cause someone's eye's to bleed!

Last session with our friend Augustin, well last for me that his, He is going back to Paris, he's doing great and he will surely become awesome by next summer if he keeps up!

Koa and Martin also did prety well.. Koa almost hit blury drifter! 8O
Martin had a couple of nice long strings with fairys pixies and wirls, hes improving so fast!

oh well cant wait for next session :D
