Good luck with the exam jesse

Shred session #2

Duration: 90mins (30 mins at lunch, 1 hr at night.)

Tunes: Rage Against the Machine (The 1st album, i forget what it is called.)
Some nice chilled tunes from some surfing dvd.

I drilled ducking and osis at lunch, went pretty well. Used them in shred at night and they went really well. drilled good side stepping and went well enough to put into shred. Did one run with stepping op legover, blur and ripwalk in same run. Hit smear>dlo>datw mid run a number of times.
Drilled flip stepping a little. it felt good. Today i am looking at working on my flip pixies a little as they were inconsistent last night, then some flip stepping, and then diving and then sleeping.

peace

hagesy.

Yo definately coming down in october.

I will try to come down for your birthday even.

Shred Session #3
Music: At the Drive IN (In/Casino out)
Armin Van buuren.

duration: 1hr, before the lads arrived for cards.

Drilled stepping on flip. It went well. Did this drill mirage>clip>stepping op legover>legover rpt. I think my highest was 4 reps. Drilled pixies. Mirage>pixie legover rpt. Highest was 5 reps. smear>legover rpt. highest was 4 reps.

I have a squash tournament today, but i intend to shred as well. I will work on my flip blur and ripwalk, and try and get them consistent enough to put in runs.

peace

Props Hagesy.

Played at school a bit yesterday then when I got home I was keen so I had another sesh.

New moves:
Maelstrom. This was really weird cause it landed on my foot and I didnt know it was there. I saw it and it was rolling off so I set it up and caught it.
3rd 6add in the bag.

New links:
drifter>spinning clipper bs
drifter>spinning osis
whirl>drifter bs

My steps are pretty gay atm and I am super pissed off with my right toe. Every single thing I do on that side feels gumby or retarted. The bag always rolls around on the set and its just screwed. I wish I schooled it in the early days. I was aiming for 40contacts of butter>pdx mirage but only managed 14 cause of my gumby ass right toe set. Its almost like no matter how much I school it I will never be good at it.
damn it. Anyway, my drifters are improving alot atm and I did 14 ducking clips first shot.

That is all.
Hopefully back one day.

I'm really getting the shits with this moving business.
I want to play and was really looking forward to playing this weekend - but it's not going to happen.
I might try to free up some time tomorrow to have a solo in the garage. I just need to get inspired.

Last week, when I had just got home from school, It was dark and this pigeon just flew into the wall right infront of us. Turns out this thing is freaking tame and was obviously a pet. So we put it in a cage for the time being. The cage just got blown over in the wind. lol
Hopefully back one day.

Kiser_Tobias wrote:Just had a session with Daniel Boyle. Foxy didn't play tonight because he was feeling sick and it was his birthday today.
Caroline turned up and played well for her, and we were also joined by Luke - a young guy I used to hack with back in the day.

Daniel was hitting some cool combos. Dimwalk>Torque>spinning osis was way cool, and he had some nice ducking combos, too.
I played ok. I only had a few good runs with tripwalk, some dimwalks, smears, osis, ss butters and stuff involved. I hit dimwalk>ripwalk again, but I'm still unable to get anything other than a kick to seal it.

Can't talk too much longer. It's late and I got an early start tomorrow.

Thanks again to Daniel for giving me someone else to kick with. I look forward to seeing him again in Melbourne, next year.
i don't think I ever actually got the spinning osis out of it. oh well.

it was nice to shred with you and I'll see you in melbourne :)

No problem, Daniel. I'm just glad that I had the opportunity to meet you. It was great to have someone new to shred with - someone who's not just a kicker, that is.

See you in Melbourne.

I am loaded to the ground with school work. Footbag may suffer a tad this week. played at break today. Matthew is back into it. Schooled him a bit.
New stuff for him:
mirage>opp toe>mirage
pixie>toe>toe>toe>pixie
clipp>opp clip

He is struggling with clipper flatness, quite badly.

My style is smoother now.
gtg, work to do
cya
Hopefully back one day.

Shred #5

Duration: 42MINs

Music: Rage against the machine (evil empire)

Just shredded really. I was pretty tired due to training and then playing for squash, but i was happy that i strapped on the shoes anyway and busted for about 40. My flip pixies were off, they need to be drilled once again, my diving is still not good.

Jesse, can your style get any smoother?

Yo Hagesy. There is no extent to which ones style can reach it's limit of smoothness. Unles we are reffering to Ales.

I had my second half of business exam today. Got 3 assignments due tomorrow and a maths exam. Got an extention on two of them and studied a fair bit for maths. 340 words done on HPE assignment. Need 600.

Played footbag a tad today. Footed flip pdx torque numerous times. Hit mobius again, this time in climas. Hitting some super long clipper runs now with tonnes of spinning ducking and osii.

I may not be in bed until 1 am.
Hopefully back one day.

YAY!
Finished my exams :D
Still have 2 more assignments to finish though.
Played footbag for like 10 mins all over the place, just pulling out my bag, having a quickie then putting it away. Hit a cool run with peeking osis bsos, osis bsos, gyro clip bsos, smooth butterfly, clippery stuff. Torqes are consistent now.
Hopefully back one day.
