Hey guys, If you ever have a problem with one of my bags, LET ME KNOW and I will take care of it. If a stitch shows or breaks, filler is falling out, holes appearing after a week. These are things I can do something about. I can't do much if you don't let me know. Once the problem has been fixed, I can work on making a better problem free footbag. I do quite a bit of testing with about a dozen players in San Diego. All levels of play, but one thing is a constant. They all breakin their bags correctly. Bag breakin is a slow process and if done right, it should produce the perfect shred bag. My phone number is 858-488-2133. When you buy a bag from me, you have purchased my services as well as one of my bags. Repairs are part of that service. Hope this helps, Richard Abshire

I didn't get to read any of your editted comments before you tottally got roasted. But if it's any consulation, I generally start flame wars and then quit footbag cause I can't take the heat in my own kitchen.

I think certain individuals need to stop behaving so negatively. You antagonize and antagonize and then do it some more when it is completely uncalled for. If their goal is piss other's off, maybe these people should see psychologists. I apologized and took off my posts because they were seen as rude and inappropriate by many people on modified.

Flexthis & co., YOUR posts are also rude and inappropriate, and if your goal is to antagonize others, I suggest you do it in person or not do it at all.

If you want me to quit playing footbag because you don't like me for whatever reason, you need to realize you are NOT the center of the universe; other's react to you in this manner not because THEY are assholes, but because YOU are; and you have nothing interesting, nor relevant to say; If you had a point to make, then please state it more clearly, it did not translate well.

If you think this post, also, is inappropriate, then you need to stop being an instigating, antagonistic pussy over the internet.

ik this has been repeated probably somehwere in this forum but my ahsire also has the small holes in it..i noticed today theres about three of them. Ive had my bag for a month now and its breaking in nicely besides these small holes...

I ordered my abshire from freedomfootbags and they didnt email me back yet with how i can possibly fix this problem, does anyone have a solution for me

I know how you feel, the abshire that I normally shred with (belongs to Jim Penske) has a hole too

but Jim fixed it right up with a band-aid, literally... He cut a silicon band-aid into a little tiny square and bualah(sp?), the hole won't get any bigger, no leakage, and it doesn't interfere with play.

But you could always...

HOLES:
Elmer's Fix All Glue(Toothpaste like tube)
1=find hole and squeeze beads to that side of bag in one hand
2=touch top of tube to hole
3=squeeze gently until glue oozes out the sides all over the whole
4=set glue down
5=scrape off all the glue with a plastic spoon or piece of cardboard.(It is important to scrape off as much glue as possible from around the edges of the hole)
6-=set bag down in the sun hole facing up so that beads fall away from glue
7=some beads may be stuck to glue after drying, so pinch the hole with your fingers hard enough to force the beads off the glue you might even need to use your finger nails to get the beads unstuck..

Abshire footbags are the best footbags out there. They come in all sizes and all styles. They are highly advanced works of art that require a very special break in. The only person to blame if your bag gets holes in it is YOU. If anyone disses Richie then they will bring MUCH disrespect down upon themselves. Richie has been making footbags for over 15 years! Richie puts his whole existence into the sport of footbag and dissing him is intolerable.

Well I have known Richie longer than most of you guys, and I have been using his bags since I met him back in the early 90s, and I even have some of the first bags he ever sold in my collection.....but to answer your question, yes I have had some stretch out funny, some have holes, but usually holes happen from use, stretching it too much, and if you see threads, you just plain pulled it, or stretched it too much. Most of his panels match up pretty well, and Richie is the only person I know who has put his Life's Work into making better bags....that said, he is my friend, and my buddy, and seeing someone cry about a bag that was treated improperly, and then blaming him for it, is just wrong. Next time, send your bag to me, or have Richie break it in for you. I love Richie bags, and I have the largest collection of his bags on the face of this earth.....they are the best IMO. If you have a problem in the future, just talk to Richie about it, for he has always offered to fix my bags from free, re-weight them, and that means a lot now a days. Richie is not all about the $$$$$, though he is about making the sport better for you and I. BTW, most of the bags I get from Richie are perfect, but a few bad apples do happen. Facile is a very soft, pliable, and tender fabric, so treat it like an egg, and take care of it next time. Take care all, Michael
