24.8. 05 : Good weather good mood : FOOTBAG !!!! :D

Nothing very new I'm still drilling my basics but it was a nice session...when I got to my shred place (which is located about half a minute from my home :D) I saw that the kids from the neighbourhood had played "4 square" somewhen this day :D ...

Then I began practising and quite soon some of them joined me and shredded a bit...it's great to see footbag spread around your place :D
One of the kids who came is a real natural he just executed some toe stalls (first time in his life he really played footbag) and some inside stalls

I hit some osises and butterflies and clippers etc. etc...

Nothing special but some really smooth duckings and osises

It was a nice session and I had lots of fun...Footbag rulez :D

25.8.05 : Shred hard that's hip :D

A nice session although it was raining most of the time but I don't mind rain because I got a roof above me  ...I just bought portable speakers to listen to music while shredding...they rock !! Now I really feel the beat and it is much more fun to practise 8) ..

Something quite new for me : - spinning clipper

- Tried some spinning ducking stuff but didn't really hit anything ...still my spinning ducking motion is far better than I would've ever thought :D

- Drilled basics like always...they're getting better

- Began learning whirl on my strong side

- Began learning osis on both sides and they got a lot better

- Hit stepping toe delay on both sides but they are still very weak and I can't really add another trick after the stepping but still it is stepping :D

- Tried blender but this trick is so strange I'll have to watch the vids a bit more because for now I don't understand this trick

- Tried torque and even if I never hit one I was quite close to it and as soon as my basics and osises are good enough I gonna learn that trick

- Also had some nice and long strings it was so much fun to try to shred to music :D

- And I just ordered a Docbag and a Ilja Bag but because Jochen is on a vacation and Ilja is overordered they won't come that soon :( ..Nevermind I will have to perfect my basics anyway and it's not that necessary to have such a good bag before they really are perfect

All in all I had a great time today and I learned a lot it was so much fun to shred to music...I just love footbag and I'm extremely addicted to it

26.8.05:

Workout at our Footbag club and it was a great session although there were only three of us plus a lot of kids who became interested in footbag and have now joined the "madbags" :D

- Almost hit Ripwalk !!!! When playing I realized that my stepping has got so much better that I could try ripwalk and I was sooooo close to hitting it :D ...

- Had some nice strings like clip>op clip>legover>butterfly>op butterfly>osis>atw>op>atw etc...

- My stepping really improved that session but my clippers are still not perfect enough so I will go back to those for some time

- butterflies are getting a lot better

- osis is getting better

- spinning is getting a lot better ...

All in all I didn't hit a lot of new stuff but still I made progress and it was so much fun...

27.8.05 :

Because I went over the top the last day I could barely raise my feet and it wasn't a very good session...

Still I had like always a lot of fun and I drilled some moves which don't need fast feet :D

And Jochen has just replied my e-mail and said that he has already got some bags ready with the color combination I want  ...soon I will be proud owner of a Docbag :)

I'm thinking of going to a camp where some good footbag players would be and where we'd have to do sports with kids (but not footbag with the kids)...still I could play footbag with some experienced shredders from switzerland and I was told that a shredita who went last time came back and her game had really improved during that week...I'm still not sure whether I should go or not ...but I have to decide very soon ...

Erm...green and gold...He said it would take him about 1-2 months till he could ship it because he is so overordered so I'll just wait until I get his e-mail and pay it :D

Shred from the first day on ? Wicked !!!!! I really need a better bag mine are just too sticky and on the other hand somehow strange to shred with and they are far too big...I cant waiiiiit :D

The last few days I had nice sessions :

I hit datw in to out with my strong foot

and Ripwalk :D

And a lot of cool strings and spinning stuff

My osis has got better and so has my stepping and my clippers....still drilling my basics but I'm slowly growin out of beginner level :D

Today I couldn't really shred because of the ****** cold I got...but I will write about what happened the last few days :

- Spinning got a lot better hit spinning clipper on both sides

- Ducking stuff got a lot better also hit spinning ducking clip on flipside

- Ripwalk !!! Up to now I only hit it once but still ..... :D

- My stepping ameliorated on both sides a lot and it's so much fun

- My basics got better too

- Now that I have a decent bag (I have to say once more that I just love my new docbag) my whole game got much much better

- hit 20 alternating clippers p.e.

- hit a perfect clip>whirl>clip>op clip combo :D

- hit datw with strong side in to out dex

- almost hit butterfly swirl on flipside

- my osis got a lot better

- hit some nice 2-3 add strings (like butterfly>op butterfly>ss clipper>op clipper>spinning osis> clip> Pixe> ss Mirage> ss pixie>ss mirage> ss legover>drop :D )

I'm getting a lot better and I'm now equipped with pro bag, modded lavers and "shred-horniness" ... Let's shred !!!!!!!!!!! :D

Wow! Nice to see that you're improving fast! You're going to be really good. I see that nice shit was going on your shred ... Ripwalk, Spinning Ducking Clipper - cool tricks. And good that you're schoolin' your bascis all the time too. Good work on 20 alt. clippers and this run you wrote down.

I'm getting lazier from day to day ..but I will sum up the happenings of the last few days :D (I had a super nice session yesterday at the madbags workout  )

- hit 3-4 ripwalks on flipside (is there a flipside when you hit ripwalk ? Both feet are almost equally involved so ... :D ) and 2 of those were perfect :D

- Symposium Mirage with flipside and Symposium Reverse Mirage also with flipside :D

- Stepping got a lot better

- basics are nearly perfect now but still I need to drill my clippers like crazy that I can do them without any effort

- Hit a nice ducking clipper and spinning clipper on both sides

- had nice strings and a lot of fun

I have to say it again : I love my new docbag and I'm addicted to the best sport on the whole world : Footbag !!!!!!!!!!!

keep shreddin'

Hey Julian, it's good that you're moving on so fast. But be carefully! It's not that good moving on that fast, sometimes it's better to practise CONTROL (means, long routines)

A Guy who has a good control over the bag will be moving on faster, I think.

My advice! :D

Thx for the advice :D

I am of course always drilling my basics and now that I'm getting better I am also doing a lot of controlled shredding (like trying not to drop for at least half a minute  )

Like I already said I will visit your club at wolhusen soon and now that the worst is over (flood etc.) I am very keen about meeting you and the other wolhusener shredders :D

Jup, you can come whenever you want. Just tell me, so we can contact all the wolhuser. Are you coming with train? At the moment they are building a tunnel there, so you must take the bus. I'm sure you'll find it, when you'll come. What about next week?
