Nice blog Jordan. You sound committed which is great to see! School is actually really really great - you'll probably understand in a few years so make the most of it. Learn as much as you possibly can about everything! :)

Heh, thanks Jeremy. Yeah I love footbag, what can I say? Plus, gotta be commited, I'm runnin' my school's footbag club. Yeah, I'll probably think school is the greatest thing once I go to college or get a job, but right now, waking up at 5:45 am for 5 days for...however many months...just isn't too thrilling :P

Edit: YEAH! 2nd page, all riiiiight 8)

First day of school was all right *shrugs* -_-' Saw many of my friends, have some awesome teachers...all in all, t'was a good first day :D

3 Day Session Make-Up-

Wednesday: Today was a really good session. Kicked by the pool (friend who's a lifegaurd was workin' so I thought I'd visit her). Was accompanied by Mike. He hit legover for the first time and two consecutive clippers. Go Mike 8) Today for me, my clippers were more natural feeling and crisp, like the catch was really "there". Hit about almost 10 (wasn't counting) consecutive flipside clippers. Also hit a new trick!: Clipper knee bump ss mirage. It felt really cool to hit.

That's the latest, should be having a session tomorrow with Josh, Dan, and possibly Mike and Rob?

Tune in next time...

Today's session was a good one :D

Attendance: Mike, Josh, Dan, and Megan

Everyone seem to do very well. Josh was being awesome as usuall, Mike hit legover again and almost back to back, Dan was kickin' learnin' control, and Megan did some nice strings.

I hit like 12 or so flipside clippers today. Man drilling pays off! Tried shredding in' my NB CT520's, did aight. NB's are a good shoe, just takes a while to get use to them (been shreddin' in lavers for a while). I came SO FREAKIN' CLOSE to hitting Pixie Legover back to back! Argh! It makes me angry :P I also came close to hitting flipside farlegover in my NB's (which surprised me).

But yeah, today was an awesome session :D

Later dudes and chicks...

Rainy Day session:

Kicked with Mike and Dan today.
Mike hit like 5 atw's and Dan learned more on stalls and such. T'was a good sesh.

Me, kicked in my NB CT 520's. Got use to them again. Worked on hella clippers since the bag kept rollin' with my NB's (because I wasn't stickin' my foot out enough to catch it). So that'll probably improve 'em.

Hit Pixie legover both sides. Uh, nothin' new really. Same old same old

That's the latest

Just got done with a Sunday evening Session :D

Was a nice and enjoyable session. T'was Mike and I. Mike now has five 2-ADD tricks :!: Atw, Pixie, Legover, Clipper, and Butterfly. This is the spring time of his game, he's hitting new stuff.

I did all right. My knee started to feel weak after drillin' clippers at the beginning of the session. It was weird. Good news though I hit Farlegover BSOS. It felt soooo freakin' good. Hopefully my knee's will get better. I should probably start really thoroughly stretchin' them

But yeah, it was a nice session.

Josh is coming again tomorrow...so we'll see what goes down tomorrow

Peace!

hahah Damn Sam, that video is ANCIENT! Man...that was some previous summer...haha wow..

Anyways today's session was another Rainy Day Session:

Kicked again with Mike. We were both sluggish. He drilled some of his 2's while I kept drillin' all my shizit. It was all right.

With each session, I grow stronger...that's how I look at it :P 8) 8O :D\

Tune in next time....

Edit: Oh I forgot to mention, some little kid came up and asked, "Are you guys hacky sacking". I told the kid, "Nope, we're footbagging! :D ". Then He ran off somewhere....to the bathroom or something...

Solo-Session today:

Mike cancelled out on me (went to go eat dinner...how lame). So I soloed tonight. It was hard to play because my downstairs was humid (it was weird). Drilled again clippers and the basic stuff. Came so freakin' close to flipside farlegover midstring!

I'm tellin' you people play as much as you can. Even 30 minute sessions make a difference. Every session I drill, my moves become more natural and my body and mind just know what to do. so keep shreddin'!

So...GO FOOTBAG NOW!
-Wong-

Edit: I forgot to mention! I hit 25 legovers alternating in a row.

Cloudy-Drizzly-Bleh-Session Day.

Kicked with Mike for about an hour and half. My knee was bothering me last night and a couple nights before, so I stretched alot this session and didn't play my hardest. Mike drilled mostly legover this session and hit a few butterflies perfectly.

I played "effortless" (Sam's new term, go here:http://www.modified.ca/footbag/viewtopic.php?t=10307). It was fun, and relaxing and enjoyable. Definitely good idea to do when you're legs are weak.

I also drilled some clippers (lightly). I figure out how to improve them everytime I drill them, it's awesome!

I also hit Flipside Bubba! I was so freakin' happy! It was sweet 8)

That's the latest, Josh should be coming down tomorrow, he better

Bye!

I just had a really good session! :D :D :D

Attendees: Mike, Josh, and Megan

Mike was goin' for Fairy and he came soooo freakin' close! He'll probably hit it tomorrow. Josh hit whirlygig and went for Rubberman (which he has hit), he hit the 4th trick but dropped. Megan showed me what she's doin' for her and Josh's anniversary. She's quite crafty.

I had an AWESOME session, here are the highlights:
-flipside farlegover MID-STRING
-clipper ss legover BSOS
-clipper knee-bump ss mirage
-clipper knee-bump legover
-Came SO close to bubba mid-string 8O

It was an awesome session! Josh taped me hittin' Pick-up b2b for his site. Ah and the weather was so awesome! Today was just one kickass day!

Footbag Rocks! :!:

Finished up a session with Rob today.

played from 2:30ish - 6 (with some breaks in there).

Taped some footage for my Club's Demo that I have to make tonight. If I finish it, I'll post it up tonight.

Rob had some awesome runs like mirage>pickup>mirage>legover>pixie>mirage etc. He almost hit whirl kick. His clippers need some more skoolin' but he's doin' pretty good.

Me, I hit some 2 strings. Footed flipside pdx. mirage (which is actually now my strong side because it feels more natural). Drilled of that. Just played basically and doin' drills. I played with my Ile Nastase Milleniums a bit afterward for casual shred. I like 'em.

Oh, I must say, I have the best of friends out there. We were kicking at my neighborhood pool (pretty small and private), and my friend Melissa was lifegaurding. So I accdientally kicked my Mosher bag on the roof. Luckily there was a way to get on the roof from the fence, so Melissa (aidded with Rob and mine's help) got on the roof and got my Mosher bag from the gutter! She is so awesome! I love her so much! Rob and I then walked to Bruster's to and get some ice cream and we got her a chocolate milkshake.

Today was a good day 8)

That's all for now...

Was at my grandparents for the day, visiting them and my cousins and aunt.

Helped painted my grandfather's garage. That was fun :P

Casual hacked/shred with my oldest cousin Adam. It was fun, very laid back. I also showed my relatives my 2nd video. They seemd pretty impressed. They especially liked the ending (me dancing  )

yeah, anyways keep it real 8)

JUST finished up my Geometry. So I think I'll write about my awesome session :D

Had a wickedly-sweet session with Rob today. It was one of those fast-paced, hardcore sessions.

Rob hit some amazing stuff today. Symp. mirage Mid-run and WHIRL mid-run (He really does need to school his clippers, I dunno why he practices whirl, but it was awesome none the less).

I hit Pixie Legover Mid-run. Bothsides, but not BSOS. Hit flipside farlegover BSOS too. Practiced pdx. mirage and bubba. Hit another ducking clipper. Just a good sesh.

Ahhh...these kinds of sessions make me happy that I can't feel my legs :D

Shred on
