Early morning shreds?

Post by Bander87 »

This idea might be a bit extreme, but has anyone ever done early morning shreds, starting around 5.30 in the morning? Schools starting soon and I would hate to miss a lot of shred days (and simply another session to play), so I was thinking a short shred before school might be something to do. Dunno if this is crazy or what. And no, I'm not trying to copy Vasek.

James from MTL used to do it all the time, just before he went to workout. I dont know whether it was any good or not

doesnt seem that crazy..me and my friends do a similar thing except we shred while were in school...before classes start in the morning we have about a half hour 45 mins to shred and do whatever we want.

we even convinced one of our gym teachers to make footbag/net footbag as a class this year and we also are trying to make footbag a club so that we can get credit while playing footbag :P :D

maybe you can try something similar to this rather than waking up earlier to shred.

Although I love footbag, I don't think I'd be able to get myself out of bed that early to shred. I would much rather stay up late and play than get up early. I guess this all depends on if you're a morning person or not.

I don't think it's crazy to play at 5:30. I mean, I'd say 5:30 in the morning is just as valid as any other time during the day.

No, I don't play soccer. Yes, there are competitions. 4 years. Lots of practice.

I've had only a couple of sessions at about 8:30 am with Ian Dubman. I'm used to getting up at around 10 am or later. Freestyle was sssssssoooooooo hard. I was just sluggish and unresponsive the entire time. The second session lasted for about half an hour before finaly calling it quits and making a bloodpact to never do that again.

I think early morning shred is great, as long as you can actually be stuffed getting up.

Last year i had a few sessions before school but unfortnuately some days i was either too tired or i just couldnt be bothered.

So if your willing to do it then i think it would be great because footbag to start off a day? Anything better than that?

To get to school I'll be taking a train at 6:40 AM and will be arriving near my school at around 7 7:30. But I don't have clase till 8:30/9 sometimes. So it'll be shredtime.

I used to do some early morning shreds (maybe not 6 am .. something around 8)... These were only BOP shreds - I practiced only Butterflies, Osis' and Paradox Mirages&Illusions on them.

If you will shred before eating anything (I mean breakfast or something else), with "empty stomach" (don't know what's this expression in english), you will burn fat faster, and you will burn more fat. And if you ate only proteins for supper (low carbs and no fat), the day before, you will burn fat even faster.

Early morning sessions rock!!!! Its not to warm out, peaceful, and a great way to start the day.

I used to get up at dawn and go and have a shred for a few hours - often actually without having slept at all the night before... I was fairly mentally unstable in those days though.

So I played this morning. 5.30 was too dark, so I played for just 15 minutes (barely playing) from 6 to 6.15. It's chilly when your half naked and the neighbords taking out the trash probably think I'm crazy. I might go for runs instead.
