Next week...I mean this week ? :D ...I just saw that you got a nice session coming up this wednesday so perhaps then ? :D

Problem is how do I get from St.Gallen to Wolhusen ? Dunno that I could take a bus from here to there...

Can you explain me properly (if you want you can of course write swiss german for better understanding :D ) how to get to your place ?

Yeah I already thought about going there...and maybe I will :D

I just checked my scheduler and there is nothing special then from my side

Perhaps some other of the club "madbags" will be there and if everything goes well...let's say it would be awesome :D

Hope to meet you there

greetings Julian

hey julian,u just learned stepping right?i downloaded the demo vid on footbag.ch and on footbag.org,but i dont get it,i mean, what did u focused on when u learned it?it came to my mind today that this set would be realy cool to have in my list,so i hope u can somehow help me a bit!...what do u mean with your bag came out of form?maybe some of the panels break in uneven, but that is a unussual happening,at least to my knowledge...but if it is that the bag should be fine soon!i will wash my bag later too but now i need it to school my stepping :D

I'd get there with gleis 7 too and I think/hope that some of our club can come but one already knows that she won't be able to come..still we are about 7-8 shredders so I hope at least some of the others may come...

I'm quite sure that I'll turn up at that cool event...the first time more than 6-7 shredders at once :D

Till then then :D

I'm still learning stepping but because I can now hit ripwalk quite nicely already (still I need a fair few of tries to execute one) this is of course stepping (to buttefly) ....

well the trick is to set the bag straight up from clipper and then as soon as the bag left your foot you have to lift your supporting leg (this has to be done very quick...really right after the clipper you have to lift your supporting leg very fast and strongly)...you may exaggerate a bit at the beginning it really helped me to get the idea of that stepping motion...actually there is a short moment when both feet are in the air...

Try to do the dex more with the hip than with the leg ...the bag should pass under your shank - knee area...and it is very important to put your dexing leg down very fast after having made the dex because otherwise it will be very difficult to add another trick after the stepping...

About my docbag it is just the problem that water makes the material of the bag a bit stiff but now I treated it with a special cream for such fabrics and it is already back to normal again

I hope you understand my explication of stepping but of course I'm no expert yet and you will find other explanations with the search function

Cool if I could help you and Good to hear that you're advancing than fast m8 :D

Toe set ripwalk ? Might that be a pixe op butterfly ? That would be friggin awesome...Unfortunately pixe set and stepping are a bit different but nevertheless this move rocks :D

keep shreddin'

hey sam....yeah it was a quantum butterfly!but thats nothing to be laughing at! :? i mean...come on...u were starting too,at some point!i didnt knew the real name of it...u can also say miraging butterfly!

julian,it was no pixie,it was a miraging butterfly!pixie is toe>same...and for a ripwalk u set with the one foot and then dex with the other, and if u do it from the toe it is called quantum, but its the same moves like stepping butterfly,so u could say toe set ripwalk!...but as we learned from sam itsa wrong, since its a quantum butterfly!

Yeah I'm enlightened once again

@ Sam :

I really don't like the attitude of being better than others who haven't learned all the names yet...Dude I'm playing for a few months now and I am happy to know most of the basic moves with their names so I know what I am hitting ...If I am mistaken on a move somehow I of course want to be corrected but there is no superiority in knowing more when having played longer...Even if I knew all the tricks (and their names) which exist I would never call someone a noob because he doens't know the name or something like that...

11.9.2005:

Had a strange session today...

One time I hit strings I've never hit before (clipper>op clip> op butterfly> op buttefly> osis> clip> pdx mirage>op pdx mirage> clip> ducking clip> ripwalk> drop etc....

and then I didn't hit anything good anymore and I had to return to basics because I sucked so much...

All in all it was a good session and I had nice combos in the beginning...

Wow I'm really getting lazy :D

Haven't written anything in here for quite a while so I will once again just sum up what happened since the last post :

- Stepping has got a lot better especially on my flipside and slowly I can hit stepping as easy as clipper itself

hit Stepping Mirage and lots of ripwalks

- Pixie has got better on both sides but still very weak...but I hit pixie osis and pixie legover again and again

- Atomic set has got better too and I hit a strange move, something like atomic ss osis

- Basics are very good now but my clipper with the flipside still needs some practise to be considered perfect :D

- Symposium like hell - Symposium Mirage and Symposium reverse Mirage
- Hit Paradox Mirage and PS Mirage and Far legovers and Far Pickup (??)

- Ducking got better and already hit some really nice duckings

- Spinning got lots better hit Spinning clipper and Osis>ss osis>ss osis

- Osis improvement : osis>op osis>op osis and butterfly>osis etc.

- I am now learning the real whirl (I used to think that I can hit whirl but I never made a full dex) and also Swirl but this trick is driving me crazy

Hit big combos and also began to do 30 sec shreds

All in all : A lot of progress and still lots of fun ..I just love footbag
