America is the bestest country in the world.

Post by C-Fan »

I`ve created this topic specifically for Blackend. Any time he feels the US is being disrespected, he can address said perceived disrespect in this thread, as opposed to spamming the shit out of of other threads with pointless patriotic flame wars.

Enjoy this space, and make good use of it. :)

Finally a thread where people are giving America the respect it deserves.

No, the really big ones, like the war on poverty, the war against nature, the war on freedom, the war against public spaces wihtout commercial advertisements.

I`d also like to share Blackend`s sentiment of gratitude to the US military. Specifically, I want to thank all the "Jugheads" for protecting our freedoms. While I`m at it, I`d also like to thank Betty and Veronica too, because they`re hot.

sorry this is the America is the bestest topic. America always gives me interesting things to talk about with people. I hardly ever talk about Burma or Peru or other n00b contries like that. The US is the best country to discuss because everybody has an opinion and most of them (at least who I talk to) agree with me :)

america is also cool because they have a leader and the best men to tell him what to do. who manage to divert money from fixing the levvees, then ol bush says "nobody expected the levvees to fail" when of course every single person thought that the levvees would fail. Maybe hes so cool because hes takin the the longest vacation a president has ever taken, he even managed to beat his own fucking record. THey are so awesome that they even managed to convince the public we need to go to war because terroists attacked us(not money  or black gold). Why would they try and fix things that were already fucked up so maybe we wouldnt be AS hated by the rest of the world? like those posting in this thread

I called it Burma because I support the opposition movement and their name for the country. Burma is such a long and sad story to explain - I've read a few really good books on it though - one written by an Australian Journalist - David Marr I think which was really really good. Can't remember what it was called but yeah, I'd definitly not describe it as a super e seven e e t country although I'm guessing you weren't serious - nor was I in calling it a n00b country. Your post just made me sad because it made me think about the issues going on in Burma right now. Aung San Suu Kyi (I hope I spelt that right) is definitely one of my biggest current political heros and I hope we see democracy in Burma in my life time - and in hers. I think I would probably cry (from joy) if that happened.

hmm what a serious post for this topic :P
