What I did when I started getting pendulous sets was: not stop my foot after the stall so that you use the momentum, keep your foot parallel to your body so that the bag doesn't go off to the side, build up speed slowly (a common mistake is going too fast), it's like changing lanes in a car you don't jerk from one lane to the other, you casually go while stepping on the gas to increase speed a little, then keep your knee straight as long as physically possible and flick your toes (while allowing your knee to bend) at the end.
If your set go way over your head that's ok, once you get that down you can start doing them from a stopped foot, and more importantly you'll be able to control how far/high they go by bending you knee/flicking your toes earlier in the movement.

Bother Evan Lovely. Too bad his punk ass doesn't get on modified that much. I'll ask him and write it down and send it to you or something if you want.

this is the way I do it;
-move your leg in a dustpan motion
-keep support leg bent
- when your foot gets cross body, unbend your suppport leg, and at the same time
-move your foot upwards and sideways.

hope this helps.[/list]
