september 11th (4 year anniversary)

Post by Sporatical_Distractions »

just remembered that as of today, it has been four years since september 11th happened in New York. let's give a moment of silence for those who lost their lives. this post is made out of respect for those people so if you're going to talk about conspiracy theories or government, please go to one of the other posts about these topics.

I realized that it was the 11th today, too. It's hard to believe it's already been four years. It seems distant, yet, at the same time, it didn't happen that long ago. I'd also like to call for a moment of silence, but not only for those who have died in the attacks, but for those of the armed forces who, due to that pickle, are now fighting in a far away land, like I myself once did and are have died or will be killed in the future. I pray we get our troops home and safely soon because I've lost a lot of my friends in the war.

Yeah, I also second the motion to keep this thread apolitical. Start a new thread if you want.

4 years... it really seems like yesterday. As a New Yorker, it still is hard to come to grips with.

I just realized that its really hard to talk about September 11th without getting political... at the risk of crossing that line, and without intending to however: I really hope we get Osama Bin Laden. I can`t believe it`s been 4 years and we haven`t caught or killed that fucker. Sorry if that sounds really harsh... its still an emotional topic for me.

Read the first post.......before you post.

This is supposed to be completely apolitical.
