Mike Anello - 2005-09-13

Yeah, so I put together another "Mike Anello in his basement" video for you. I was really sore from shredding the day before and my back has been hurting me for a few weeks. I think I have a problem with my spleen or one of my kidneys, or I'm just suffering from a temporary bout of hypochondria. Either way, there is pain and I am suffering from it.

Anyway, this video has some shred in it and some of that good ol' goofy stuff you get when you shred in Mike's basement. A lot of my actions in this video seem cocky but believe me it is just me behaving like a goof. Ask Matt Cross, I am NOT cocky, but I AM goofy.

Enjoy.

[EDIT]

Music includes...
Elliot Smith (Album XO) Sweet Adeline
Kin Fok Kru http://www.kinfokkru.com/ (Promo CD) Fools Don't Rest
- I grew up with Bruh-N-Law from Kin Fok Kru and now I miss him because he is in Texas and I am in New York.

I think the link is dead man, could be something to do with the file name.
Try naming it something like MikeAnello2005.wmv and then reupload.

Sweet video. I watched it earlier but didn't comment. Really sweet. The music was great, and the dance was funny. I didn't notice any cockiness really. Just silliness.

hey mike, that spinning heel combo was awesome! I've never seen anyone do that, and your style looked great on both sides. I also liked the double switchovers, especially smear> dso repeat. Whirls looked good, too. Cool video, thanks.

I totally called the "Suck it!" before it happened! :D:D

That's harking back quite a ways...good stuff Mike. Whirls are an exciting new addition to anyone's game.

he throws whirls down with a regularity, i think it was the paradox whirls that was being focused.

Woo hoo! A new addition to my most favorite shred series!

I love watching Mike in his basement (and it's even more enjoyable when he's filmed something first  ).

That Pixie cloud Pdx Mirage thing was way cool too!

Keep it up man.

Oh, and what you doin' in that basement of yours? What happened to all the benches and stuff? Is it now a designated shred spot?

many RFA videos ago, you can see me kicking and punching mike's bench. A bit later, he removed the whole thing. The basement is now a designated shred spot. It's MUCH better now.

by the way, mike, I don't know if I mentioned this, but the pixie op heel to pdx mirage repeat combo in your last video was NASTY! I love how these past few videos have shown that you're a really good freestyler with an unconventional style. It's good to see.

Definately liked the silly flavor of the video!

Are your lavers twill?

How've you modded em?

TheVindicator,

Yes, my lavers are twill. However, I do not recommend them. My lavers were a gift from my girlfriend and so to show my appreciation for her thoughtfulness I thought it right to use them. I have completely modified them by opening the toe box and removing the inner canvas on the toe, inside and outside of both sneakers. The sensitivity is ok. What I do not like about the shoes is how the material does not let my feet breath and so my feet sweat a lot more than when using nylon mesh lavers. If you notice in the video, I am not wearing socks. That seems to be a good compromise for me and the twill.

Thank you for the compliments. I am so happy with the response this video has generated.
