Hey people

I made a vid from the footage of 2 tapes of when Alex Urano (Urano on the forum) came to QLD. It features myself, Alex, Garth (NotHisRealName [previously Kiser_Tobias]) and Adam Fox.

I had a real hard time editing this video as I was using a windows movie maker on a not so good computer, so things were hard to time. I still managed to chuck in some phat editing touches.

160mb, 20mins long, good quality

ENJOY! :D

EDIT: I forgot to say that this footage is dated and all the players are probably alot better than this now. My monitor broke half way through the vid so it took me a while to release it. Sorry.

Great video Jesse!
It's great to see some footage of the East Coast boys.
That was some quality editing for a windows movie maker production.

Criticism: Next time you should film in a well lit spot because some clips were pretty dark, but you could still see what was going on. But besides that it was good good.

I love lamp.

And so was the birds eye view and most of the hand held.

Oh, and there's a FUCKING 'E' IN MY FUCKING NAME!

I didn't go through 28 years of shit with the name 'GarEth' to accept being called GARTH by everyone who's too lazy or stupid to write my name properly.

Jesse would fall under the too stupid catagory of that quote ;)

Thanks for all the kind comments about my shred.
I'd like to say you're all full of shit, though. My style sucks and I'm rather one sided in alot of my tricks.
However, I do appreciate the sentiment.

Your game is good Gareth, don't be so negative about it.

Edit:
If you watch this vid, please reply! constructive criticism on the games of the people and the editing would be great.
Hopefully back one day.

I'm not too hard on myself, Jesse. I just hate almost every part of my game. I play, however, because I love how it makes me feel. New move tonight - Drifter! :D

And don't feel too bad, Jesse. The majority of people on modified are ungratefull or lazy when it comes to other peoples videos. Fortunately there are a few people here who will say thanks for the effort, in some way.

again, most people only reply to a video if they really like it.

this may be the case, but it seems that just about everyone who posts a vid asks for constructive criticism, and NO ONE comes through. every video mike (anello) has put out with me in it gets a good response for the editing and the humor, and of course props when sick stuff is hit, but the only constructive criticism ive ever recieved was from willy digges, who said that i should stop bailing to clipper, and i was very grateful to him for that. i think that people who post videos and ask for opinions of their shred, deserve just that:
props for the good stuff, criticism for what needs work.

and im downloading this now and will comment on it when its done.

Thanks Mike.

But yeah, the constructive criticism isnt the only thing that would be nice.

Even a simple "Good work" or "Thanks for the vid" would be cool.

I can make a smaller version for the dialup users as I, to, know the lameness of dialup.
Hopefully back one day.

Cool video. Great to get a taste of the Aussie scene... I hope I can play with most of you real soon.

Constructive criticism: 20 minutes is REALLY long for an internet video. If you cut out all the toe kicks before runs, and some of the high fives, it would make it shorter. Also, there were some runs that were obviously included because they featured a single big trick. Maybe you could just show the big trick and cut the rest of the run? Just a suggestion.

The music was really "get pumped" which was cool, and I liked some of the editing, like around 17:45 for example.

Thanks again for the vid.

wow 5 non Australian's commented. Is that a new record for an Aussie vid?

Anyway top editing Jesse - really impressive stuff and great soundtrack. Also props to all involved - the shred was good too. I have a few comments regarding editing which may have already been said but I'll say them anyway.

First the video is too long. I think cut about about half the runs and the starts and ends and you could make a much better 10 minute video. I've also played with all the people involved and know that you guys are heaps of fun to play with - I much prefer videos that give a feel for what it's like playing with the people and have plenty of non shred stuff (or shred stuff that is significant beyond the shred) - some more non footbag stuff would have been very nice.

Finally a couple of quick comments about the footbag. Adam and Gareth looked good - I'm definitely looking forward to playing with you again! Alex - really good long runs. I think maybe too long compared with your variety. I think it would be really good to try and hit more variety in runs - which will probably lead to shorter run lengths initially. Jesse - Good to see you going hard. I think it might be better if you went a little easier and hit longer runs. Basically if we could combine Jesse with Alex we could create a super shredder and we could call him Ales ;)

But overall I thought this was an excellent video with good editing and good shred - you should all be stoked on it!!

LOL!

as far as 'non shred footage' is concerned... there was none.

Still, there's always next week.

Hahaha, I actually laughed at your comment Jeremy. Thanks for the reply! And yes, I think that is an australian record 8)

I had a funny thing I was supposed to chuck in at the end but I forgot.
I will take your tips under my belt (and everyone elses) and hopefully get better as I make more vids.
Hopefully back one day.
