Thanks Cod...

Matt... I don't know .. I just can't ... I'm just like very sad, and I feel like I will cry, but it just doesn't happen. There are no teras, and no weeping. It's like I cry in inside... my soul cries, but not my body... I hope you know what I mean... It really annoys me, because I can throw sadness outside... Cry would just make things easier :(

Of course sometime I "cry" because of too much (actually there is never too much) laugh ;]

You can't cry?
Wow - that's hardcore, I've never heard of anyone like that. Have you gone to any tests? Do you know if there is something wrong with your brains or something?
Sorry - it's just so interesting because I'm interested in psychology and I've never ever heard about been not able to cry!

Haha ;] This became a sensational story...

I don't know if I'm not able to cry ... I just cand remind when I cried last time from other reason than lots of laught... I just know that when I'm sad, and I feel like I will cry in a moment, I just don't cry ...

And I don't remember when I cryed last time, because of some physicall pain ...

No, I haven't gone to any tests.

Maybe it's because I cried too much when I was little, and everyone around were saying - you can't cry... big boys don't cry... you'll be weak if you will cry... Yeah.. sentences like these are nonsenses, but I didn't know about that... I don't know... maybe this is the reason.

So you have cried when you were younger? Then I suggest it hasn't any physical reason (unless you've hit your head or something), you've just became mentally strong and can't resist it. Or something :)

Because my quadricipital muscles feel better I did some shred yesterday. It was a light one - no symposium moves, no whirls, no sets, no double dexes...

On warm-up, I beat my Osis` record. I set it on 45 ... It's almost the same as my Butterflies record (45). Now I've to set my Ducking Clippers record somewhere around that.

Then I practised Illusions.

Hit Clipper set Grifter on first try ever! Wow. Couldn't hit it on 2nd side, but it's because I have totally different Illusion mmovement there, and it's because this leg is stretched differently.

Then I was practicing Spins. Feel some progress.

I will school dexless moves for a few days, until my muscles will be 100% health.

--- the 18th of September, 2005 ---

Did some quite long session. It was over 3 hours.

On warm-up I beat my Osis record again. Now it's 47 (only 2 more)

Then I was schooling Spins, Torques and Grifters.

Feel progress on all of them. Especially Torques. On my strong side I can hit it quite confident. I can play out of Torque now, and no only to bail like far butterfly or osis. I hit Torque > ss Butterfly > ... > Torque

And I started doing Torques on my flipside more frequently.

Then worked on Grifters. I feel quite confident with my strongsides's ones. Need more work on flipside.

--- the 19th of September, 2005 ---

Next over 3 hours session. On warm-up I set my butterflies record on 62. So I beat my old one by 15.

Then worked on the same concepts as the previous day. But first worked on grifters and then torques.

Grifters are good. Still need more work with flipside. Strong = more confident.

Torques = better as the day before too. Flipside ones got better too. I practised Paradox Torques and Mobius on strongside too. Feel some improvement, I think I'll be able to hit them to string and maybe midstring soon.

Spins = progress too.

--- the 20th of September, 2005 ---

Today = no shred. Lack of time.

Sport class = because we were runing 400 metres I said to the teacher that I still can't run fast, because of my quadricipital muscles. which still aren't able to fast contractions. So I was running and then stretching. I ran over 4 kilometres.

Sister = she went to Warsaw... she will be studying there. So actually it's like she moved there, to our flat... I will move there too, next year.

School = I will be all the day at school tomorrow. I'll leave home at around 8 am. and will be back at aroun 6 pm. So 10 hours at school. It's because after all my classes I have some additional classes for mathematic, to prepare for the exam to end school.

I feel tired a little bit

Played yesterday for 1,5 hours.

I hit flipside Scorpion's Tail.

Torque is easy to hit midstring now.

Runs weren't too long, because I tried some genuine links in them. And I didn't want to do more than 2 BOP's in a row, even if I lost controll.

It's a weekend finally. I've got some time in my hands right now ;]

Lately i was shreding only in my room (bad weather). I only school things. My form is weak now... Don't know why. It's just much worse than it was a few weeks ago. Maybe because of not enough sleep? But still feel some progress on Fairy and maybe Stepping. But I would like to feel this progress on my Grifters and Eggbeaters, and Spins.

I was studying much recently. I have lots of things to study for school... Yesterday I delivered my matura exam (the high-school final exam) declaration. I'm going to have examinations from German, English, Maths, Physics, and Polish. This will be 8 exams together (German, English and Polish = 2 exams each - spoken and written exams).

I have lot's of homework for monday and tuesday. I think I will start with it today, to not have too much work tomorrow. And I have to do about 200
ex's from physics.

Tried to practice my routine yesterday. Nothing worked. Maybe it's not for me? Maybe I shouldn't start in any competitions? It means too much irritation and stress for me? Practicing routine for hour is just not fun, and it took all the fun from playing footbag that evening. It annoys me when I drop on the ATW, which is the first trick, thought I can do 64 consecutives ATWs. It annoys me when I drop on mirage, thought I can do 60 mirages. It annoys me when I drop Paradox Illusion, though I can hit 72 contacts of Butterfly > Pdx Illusion [rpt]. I'm just too ankylosed when practicing routine.

I don't know if I will enter the competition on Polish Championships. Maybe I'll be there just to shred and have fun.

Why to lose fun from footbag, if I don't have too?

I don't know... I'm really confused.

Sad.

Pawel.

Yesterday had a session. Schooled stuff. Didn't bother my ass with routine. Just fun. And it waws much better session than the previouses.

I hit -
- Anchor
- Frigid Anchor
- 27 contacts run with lots of stepping and whirl (two concepts that are the weak side of my game), started with Fairy Swirl. Contained tricks like Sidewalk BS (it always feel good when I hit it midstring) and... Don't remember. Not much variety at all.

Footbag is fun. If something makes it no longer fun, it means that it's bad.

The 5th of October, 2005

- Flailing Legover
- Peeking Osis > Inspinning Clipper

The 7th of October, 2005

- Spinning Pickup > Grifter

I'm still in a weak shape. I suck when I shred.

Todays session was a bit better, but still nowhere close to what I wanted it to be.

Some highlights are only:
- Scorpion's Tail > run
- Blurriest and Grifter in one run

And that's all.

But after watching the tape I noticed that my style improved a little bit, but on others it's still not good.

Don't know what I should do to play better. I want progress... more progress... Progress is what is important in everything you do. Developing skills on every sphere of life is THE way.

I think you have to realise, that you're still making progress, even though you think your game is not working as you would like. If you think about it, you're way better then you were some time before - your own words from not so long time ago:
Hit Clipper set Grifter on first try ever! Wow.
You were also saying that you want to hit more 5's in your runs. And you hit Grifter in a run with Blurriest :) Even though your form may seem like a sinusoid going down, it's always higher with every peak! You just have to see it.

There are many people would really want to be as good as you.

I don't think it's very true.

I got ill :( I was at doctor today. She prescribed me some pills. But I have to stay at home for one week... and the Polish Championships are on this Friday :( I won't be there :( Life sucks sometimes :( Why now? Why in this week? Why couldn't I get ill one week earlier or one weak later :?:

Before I went to doctor, I did small session in my parents room. It's bigger than my room, so I had more space.

I hit:
- Drifter > Spinning Clipper > .. BS

I feelt light on my legs while shreding. Sets worked good. I think my shape is coming up...

If you don't learn to be happy with things or skills you have, you'll never be happy. It's a common mistake - people focus on what they have not, you should focus on what you have. If progress is the most important thing for you, you're on the wrong way, better do something about it.

Developing a skill is the way, but you should know what skill to develop. It's not footbag, neither anything related with earth. We haven't brought anything to earth, nothing are we gonna take with us, not a single thing or skill.

Take it easy, and watch it to be happy with things you do, now. If footbag makes you unhappy something is really wrong...
