i found my apartment in aabout 10 minutes.

I will post some cordinates of my house and my favorite places i have traveled to. It would be cool for all of us to do this. I can play with this program for freaking hours and hours

Meh. My old roommate Greg showed me GE earlier this summer and, while I am mildly impressed, I don't like the idea of a picture of everywhere on Earth accessible to the public. I mean, I know that the government already has those damned pinpoint satellites and that this sort of thing is "obsolete" compared to theirs, but the fact that they have cameras taking pictures of my house in space and putting them on a little globe for everyone to look at kinda creeps me out. I know that the map isn't updated very often, but still...grr...Anywho, I know it has it's upsides like being able to find places according to coordinates, but that's what I have an atlas and a road map for.

Thats funny that you bring this up. even though the thread has already been made. I heard on the radio that certain countries are deeming google earth a national security breech. i forget which countries, i think china was among them, were saying that google earth invades their privacy and must be taken down.

The Australian Government wants particular places censored. Particularly the Lucas Heights Nuclear reactor (which is the only nuclear reactor in Australia and mainly used for experimenting and producing medically used isotopes rather than generating power) and other "secure" government sites.
