What store can I get a footbag?!?!? (I'm from the U.S. and I mean a store not online)

well, at any sports store that sells tennis stuff, you can buy a 2-panel green, fuzzy one, but thats about the best you can expect from a main stream store.

I would contact Richie or Darryl and have them give you some business cards.

Take the business cards and contact info to your local skate and surf shop.

Explain to the local store owner that these are the best bags that are commercially available, and you want them to stock them because you prefer to support local businesses over online retailers.

Wait until your store of choice gets the bags in stock.

Purchase.

i got my first 1 at a sporting goods store like academy or something. some soccer places sell them and id guess toy stores would be pretty basic ideas. ive also seen the local mall near me selling some

I understand that you don't want to buy online, but I really suggest you buy a Mr. Sandbag from freedomfootbags.com, they're the absolute best beginner bags *IMO*

...and if you happen to live in Idaho, then you can just buy directly from the Freedom Footbags head quarters.

ps. I really doubt that you'll be able to find a decent bag in any store

I would not say, can't. It might make it more difficult under the conditions you mentioned but not impossible.
For instance:
Money order + Footmart Phone/Fax Order = Lavers > nothing
Or:
Footbag = $(Check or Money order for xfootbags) + (Calling Freedom Footbags + alternative payment options)

But if:
not having good shoes and a good footbag = U - phone - electricity - money - lower extremeties - mailing address - will to live
then:
not having good shoes and a good footbag = not your biggest problem -
