You only live once....never forget that it is your life to live and if you live it for something that does not bring you joy, then you are wasting the precious little time that you have. Smile, laugh, play games(FOOTBAG WHAT!!!!)enjoy the simple things, and remember that its better to live strong than live long. Don't deny yourself pleasures, fight those who steal your time and praise those who enhance it. Friends come and go but family is forever. Love what you do and do what you love. Money isn't everything but it sure is fun.

State your opinion if you are willing to flame mine. If you have a valid contribution i am willing to hear it without resorting to petty attacks.
To clarify my own point..... I beleive that if one follows a religion to the point that it interferes with their life in a negative way(i.e catholics not being allowed to use contraception), then they are doing themselves a diservice. Whatever god is out there would want us all to live life to the fullest, without the negative interference of institutionalized religion. I was trying to keep it light-hearted, but i should have assumed that some would take offence.

The only problem is, this doesn't make any sense at all, because the point of religion is to say that this isn't "all we get". The meaning of life isn't universal. I don't quite get why the question is always asked, because the answer is different for every individual. Personally, I think it's a waste of my time/life spending this life trying to succeed in the next life. But I try to be a good person because I like being one and being around them. I like to help others not because I'd want them to do the same for me, but because it's the right thing to do. Etc. If there is heaven or God, that doesn't mean any change in my life or views. The meaning of my life is that I should progress, be good to as many people as I can, feel/give love, and appreciate/enjoy this world. If there is a universal meaning to life, I'm not confident that anyone alive will ever know it. But I guess it's the search that's important, not the end result.
