Wait till she breaks up with him (he could just be arm candy), and then wait 6-8 months before making your move (this allows time for a rebound to come and go).

Edit: Just play it cool and don't drive yourself crazy thinking about her. Don't try telling her how you feel about her ("Waaah, my heart is being trampled upon by a herd of 1,000 elephants"), because she'll just get creeped out.

Yeah. Being creepy is not good.

Try to be her friend, at the least. That way you can see if she really is all you think she is cracked up to be, and you can be somewhat close to her. It's not a great solution, but it's the best you really can hope for.

As long as she's still with her guy, don't ever flirt. Ever.

yeah, not cool if your trying to take someone's girl, just wait for the opportunity, if it doesn't come, who cares and move on <---- good advice

BTW, 6-8 months in highschool is way too long to wait, shiz, she could already have had another maybe two boyfriends in that time, guaranteed

What's wrong with this? I flirt with taken girls all the time... I may not necessarily want them, but I don't see anything wrong with it....

It's effing rude!!

the only possible reason to do that would be because you are horny and/or wanting to boost your esteem.

lame. :?

I don't do it in FRONT of the guy. Besides, they usually go in for the flirt first.

hmm, the attitudes in this topic suck a bit :?

Hard question to give advice for. I say just try and put romantic desires aside - but don't let that stop you being friendly and having fun with this girl - it's more than possible to do both without getting involved sexually.

I guess I'm a have very er... open hippy kind of views on sex, relationships etc - but I also believe that friendship and respecting people is way way more important than sex.

Hm...she might be happy with her man and they might not separate anytime soon. I've had this problem more times than naught, so the thing I've found out that works the most is just to be her friend and be there for her when shit goes wrong; find yourself a woman that'll make you happy and don't try to steal her away from this other dude, even if he is a butthole. I'm no "love doctor" and I don't like stealing away other people's girlfriends and whatnot because I've had a bad experience with it last time...even though last time was the only time and I stole her away from my twin brother, that's not an excuse. I haven't talked to him for over a year and a half now and I think he's still pissed. That or his bitch ass is too lazy to call me from Jackson Hole. He never was one to brood about things too long; that was my bag.

Don't let a boyfriend stop you!!!! All is fair in love and war.....and look at it this way. If she is single you have to compete with every guy out there. If she has a boyfriend the only one you have to compete with is him  .

I'm sorry to all men out there, but all the best relationships i have every had started with me stealing the girl from their boyfriend. (think the song "The Other Man" by Sloan)(wait...is it by sloan? Sure sounds like it)

Blow her a kiss, and if she reacts well... Whip your cock out. Works every time.

And whats wrong with taking another guys girl, or atleast trying to. I convinced this girl that I currently like to break up with her boyfriend (Wasn't really that hard, her boyfriend was kind of a nut) and now all I got to do is get her up on my friends roof. I just don't see ap roblem in trying to mack another dude's lady friend.

As far as attracting the girl, I found being rude in a joking/funny way is the best way to go about things. Play hard to get homeboy. Keep your game up.

I wouldn't want to be with a guy who would dump his g/f for me because chances are he'll do that to me when someone new comes along. Plus, I don't know if guys don't need as much healing time, but when a girl is in a serious relationship we often need a good chunk of time to get over it, even if we were the one doing the dumping.

Plus, if she feels like you're trying to break up her relationship it might wipe out any chance you have with her even if she likes you.

I'd listen to her-- she's one of them. An "insider", if you will.
