need so much help...
ok i can hit butterfly's (both legs) like 25% of the time... i can hit atws (one leg only) like 30% of the time from a toe delay and like 50% from and inside delay... and i can hit inside and outside...i can sort of pendulum... my kicking record is only 1032.... and i can catch it behind my knee as well.... and for some reason i can butterfly easier than i can clipper
.... i have no one to really "shred" with... seeing i hardly can lol and i have trouble with the whole abbreviations and such... and remembering the way some tricks go like pixie and illusion etc....
yea so i really need help....

1032 kicks? That's way more than my record! The fact that you can do that many kicks means you've got a solid foundation to build on. Do you use both legs and all three surfaces (inside, outside, and toe) when you kick? If not, the first step for you to take is to get to work on them.
After all the kicks have gotten pretty comfortable, start working all the basic delays - again, inside, outside and toe, with both feet. Get it to the point where you can switch it up between kicking and delaying on all surfaces naturally - keep in mind that it will never be a good idea to have to think TOO much while your playing - if it isn't flowing naturally, it isn't freestyle
.
That's a start, at least. I'm not sure about other players in or near MI, maybe someone else could fill you in. Have you searched the player database at footbag.org?

Knowing the names and stuff isn't a big deal, you'll just get to know them as your able to do them. I just know a fraction of the moves and sets, it's not going to affect your shredding. One of the important thing is to drill, and you'll get the hang of it. Playing for at least an hour a day will really help you progress, it has helped me a lot. I've only played solo too, so its a lil tougher pushing yourself, but keep at it! Sometimes butterflies seem easier for me too.

Yeah, my kick record sucks. My delay record is 243 or somewhere around there. The trick to footbag is practice, patience, and persistance. I like to call it the 3P's...well, not really, I just noticed that. Anywho, it's all about fun. Just remember the 3P's and drill both sides equally. And have fun. Don't get discouraged if your progress is slow; it takes time.

I just hit my first 5 add - Phoenix (I can't do it consistantly but I had a good day and hit it once), and my record for kicking is like somewhere around 35. My deley record however is like 40.
You're off to a great start! How long have you been playing?
doing 1032 kicks is such a great thing you did because kicks are the basics..IMO you shouldn't be trying any hard tricks until you can do at least 100+ kicks and toe delays + inside delays forever (that is, you get so bored of doing them because its too easy)
I think it really helps in that is becomes easier co-ordination, but it also feels good mentally that you've gone through the basics really well and that you don't have to worry about them being shit. When i hit my first 5 my delay record was over 500 and kick record over 400 i think.
So thats some nice foundation! Keep it going!

well yes i do use both of my legs equally when it comes to kicking especially.... but ummm yea if i really had someone who was equal to me i would prolly be more competative... cuz whenever my friend aaron(the only one even close to me...not sayin much for everyone else lol) hit an inside stall with his left.... i spent like an hour on it and got it down... but yea ive been hacking for three years.... just kicking but i didnt get into it until about a year and a half ago.... and then i quit cuz i couldnt really do anything and then i started like six months later... so yea...
