you should see if you can get around that book thing. Tell your teacher that what you want to do is so fresh, new, and current, that there aren't that many paper books written about it. There is, however, a WEALTH of pertinent information online. You can direct your teacher to footbag.org and flipsider.com to start.

See what they say.

I have a footbag book if you just need something to use as a source. If you need a quote or something I can send a few suggestions or I could type some of it out for you if you want to find a quote yourself. PM me if you want.
This item is an original copy of Steven Russell Blough's 1984 instructional book titled "Footbag Dance", published by the Blough Publishing Company of Willits, California - first edition, volume one. The additional text on the cover says, "an experiment in eye foot coordination". With drawings and text by Steven Russell Blough, this book is in essence an instruction manual for hacky sack users, although Blough also touches on consciousness and meditative realms besides just the physical techniques of the footbag sport. This book covers everything from stretches, stances, and kicks, to spiritual awareness within the sport. This is an original copy of this book from 21 years ago, and has been used, but is still in excellent condition. The only minor flaws are a few small stains and scuffs on the outer book cover, and some small folded page corners, but the binding is secure and pages have not yet yellowed.

Theres that book. Probably crappy. I have the Hacky Sack book that my mum bought from a book store but the hack didnt come with it (would be shit anyway but could add to collection).

I think its the same book but they realised that its footbag not hacky sack (Well it says the american footbag game on the hack one anyway). The one I have isnt very serious. It does have the old consecutive kicks record (Ted Martins Guiness World rec) and tells about how to kick and stuff. It also mentions how John Stalberger designed a hacky sack.

_______

Would be good to see an up to date informative book. I know its all on the net but u never know who will see the book. The Hacky Sack book is a 1982 book but it talks about equipment. At the time they said leather was best and running and canvas tennis shoes could be used but less flat surface area.

dude thats pretty sweet that you get to do the senior project on footbag!

I also got to do footbag for my senior project. But I started an afterschool footbag club and did my paper and presentation from a teaching perspective. Good luck!
