OH MY GOD perfect movie and perfect fight scenes.

2. Batman Begins
I never liked any super hero movies, but after Batman Begins, I am addicted. Batman is such a badass in that movie, and Scarecrow (done by my favorite actor, Cillian Murphy) is CRAZY cool.

3. 28 Days Later
Another Cillian Murphy movie, and it just freaks the hell out of me. I could watch this movie over and over and over.

4. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
I just love this movie, and it reclaimed my liking of Jim Carrey. He is sooo god in this movie, him and Kate Winslet are PERFECT together.

5. Reservoir Dogs
No comment need. Probably one of the best movies that anyone saw. If you watched this movie, it has to be on your top 5.

I heard boondock saints was real good. I heard it's kinda like Reservoir Dogs? Any insight?

Boondock Saints is a movie about two fraternal twin brothers who are tired of seeing criminals get away with crime. So, after a revelation from God, they take on the mob underworld while a Fed is investigating who is whacking all of these criminals. It's a very good movie. I haven't seen Resivoir Dogs in a long assed time and to tell you the truth, I didn't pay attention to it because I wasn't interested in it at the time. I'll have to put it on my "to watch" list.

i cant choose, boondock saints and reservior dogs were both awesome movies. i also like kill bill 1 and 2, check out this movie call "lock stock and two smoking barrels"... thats a good movie and so is "i heart huckabees", i didnt see eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, but it looked good...

I generally only watch movies once or twice, even if I really like them, but ones that really left an impression or seemed super cool are:
-Schindler's List
-The Count of Monte Cristo
-Boondock Saints
-Donnie Darko

Those are the only ones that really stick out to me. Probably more that I can't remember.

You have awesome taste in movies!!! All those movies are so good! None are in my top 5 but still - awesome work!

My top 5:

1. House Of Fools (russian movie).
I think easy to misunderstand but I really really loved this movie. It has Bruce Springsteen in it too (playing himself) set in a Chechnyan mental asylum. The scene with the acordian and helicopter in back ground is my favourite visual moment of any film.

2. Hero
Yimou Zhang is one of my favourite directors so easily. It was a really touch choice between this and Not One Less. I ended up going with Hero because it's so visually stunning although Not One Less is also so fucking good. I think I'm going to have to put Not One Less in 3 - I was going to only put one Zhang movie in my top 5 but I can't help it.

3. Not One Less
My parents raved about this movie for years before I saw it. So glad I listened to them - the best feel good movie I have ever seen.

4. Delicatessen
Jean-Pierre Jeunet is another of my favourite directors. I love the sureality of this movie and of all of Jeunet's movies for that matter - I'm a big fan of bizzare strange movies and the dark industrial feel of this is also so cool. Probably the best sex scene in any movie ever.

5. Bliss
Awesome sureal Australian movie from Ray Lawence (also directed Lantana which won some awards) and based on a book by Peter Carey (who is very cool). I love this movie so much - it's very funny and strange. The ending is very cool too - I like the fun atmosphere all the way through and its spirituality.

So many good movies got cut out - that could be in my top 5 if I did it tomorrow...

No particular order:
waking life: such an enlightening and refreshing movie
before sunrise/sunset: same maker as waking life, amazing dialogue and realness (i made them into one movie haha!)
kill billz: great storyline. everything said is just solid gold (same deal haha)
old school: this is the funniest movie ever made "YOURE MY BOY BLUE!...youre my boy"
princess bride: true love, sword fighting and andre the giant. what more could you ever want in a movie?... "'Hello, my name is Inigo Montoyo, you killed my father, prepare to die!"

PS Good call on Pi and Pulp Fiction I contemplated them both...
