Hagsey, Pass my props on to Jade! I love hearing that n00bs are so keen to school.

well I downloaded premiere 7 (broadband ahoy). Its sweet at the moment.
Gareth is teaching me some hints and tips so I wont struggle on learning about it so much. I have been fiddling with fading and some colour effects also chucking in a bit of music. So much better than windows movie maker. I hate that program now.

anyways..Im going

cya

EDIT: May as well make use of the first post of the new page.

Well, I just had a FREAAAAAAAKING SWEET session. I started out around 2pm and came inside at 4. Alex was telling me how he was schooling his osii with a new bag and he was getting really high consec scores so I said we should race to 70 :P. In my boxers I grabbed my lavers, went outside the front of my house and started going for 70 osii. My scores were like 18,18,25,24,11, and that went on for a while then I got 37 and was like "stuff this". Then I tried some other stuff like frantic and phasing gyro mirage (footed it on camera). After that I had a go at my infinity record. WoOt! Beat it first shot. Was 55 now 60 :\. I was like oh crap, thats just crap. I didnt bother trying it again. Then I was thinking about my whirling vid and some of the tips people gave me. New link: pdxwhirl>ripwalk on my flip!!! I never thought I would hit that. Then I gave blurrywhirl b2b a try; footed it first shot and didnt try again. Began screwing around with dlo's aftet that. New move: GOLIATH IN SHOES!!!!! wooooo. It wasnt TOO hard..took maybe 6 attempts. Tried to phoenix out of it but I didnt a good enough set. Also tried a new link on my flip...gyrodlo>phoenix. I footed the gyro dlo but the pixie set didnt come out. Then I hit torque>ripwalk thinking about the challenge Henry gave me (tork>rip rpt). Did hit it on flip. uhhh I cant remember what I was trying after that but I went and got a drink and went out back in the shade cause my little next door neighbour was just staring at me (as if bouncing around in boxers and shoes with a small ball looks funny  ).

Out back was feeling better cause of the shade. Started out trying spinning clip>ducking butter for Rory. This was sooo annoying because I suck ass at spinning from butterflys. I hit it though and also hit spinbutt>duckbutt rpt (may have hit this before). Then I was schooling my drifters and tried spinclip>drifter rpt. Got semi-close but no cigar. New link anyway..drifter>spinning clip bs (never tried before). My strong side drifter is feeling great and consistent. Flipside is average. Im really happy with my flip spinning now (if you read back a couple of posts you will see I lost it...I found it again). Its pretty much even to my strong side. Hmmm I think I moved on to stepping after this. I guess it was doing all right. I remember Alex telling me about a run of his and it had a drill in it which I tried. Ripwalk>sidewalk>steppingssclip rpt. I hit it after a little bit and I am stoked with this because my flip stepping ss moves arent the best. After than I schooled some blizzard stuff. Rory gave me a challenge; dim>blizzard rpt. I HIT IT! it was mmmmmmega sketchy though. I had to move heaps for the second dimwalk. Then I was thinking about ripwalk>blur and how I hadnt hit it bsos so I tried
ripwalk>blur>parkwalk rpt. I got it after a while. It took me ages cause I have a gay flip pixie. Then I finished my water and went inside.

Freaking awesome sesh. Gosh I was sweating so much. I usually dont time my sessions but that seemed like longer than 2 hours. I also usually dont play as hard.

This is me saying "yes" to footbag. Like Jeremy!

Hopefully back one day.

There was something about today that made me not want to play tonight.
I was pretty distracted throughout the whole session and played crap.
I did, however have some good stuff happing during warm-up (two symp whirls, Dimwalk>footed ducking osis...).

Foxy blew me away tonight. He was hitting spinning mirage and spinning butter very easily. His strong side steps were amazing, with some awesome ripwalks, and almost a ripwalk>Blur, but just couldn't quiet get there. He'll be busting back to back stepping moves soon!
Torque>torque will be a possibility in the near future concidering he footed it twice, tonight.
He had a nice run which included dyno, DLO, Ripwalk, torque... and generally played well above his level. Much improvement on his behalf.

But, the Most Improved Player award definately goes to Caroline.
She turned up in some more 'footbag-friendly' clothes tonight and, asside from this being her 5th day of playing footbag, it definately paied off. Her mirages were awesome. She did step out of the circle once to school a little (Props for the excelent ettiquite), and came back hitting mirages BSOS and in multitudes.
Her clippers are improving slightly, but I think this is the biggest hurdle for any player to get over. It sounds like she's working both sides and, although her right side seemed early in her delay - slapping the bag in stead of catching it - she assured me that her (strong) side was having the same issues yesterday.

I was really impressed with how the Brisbane scene is comming along, at the moment. Foxy and Caroline (with a little prompting by me) are playing more and improving because of it.
Jesse is just Jesse. He's good at footbag, so he doesn't count
And, although tonight was a bad night for me, I was still glad to the sport expand, just a little. :D

Good night all.

Dunno if this information is still classified or what....

... but it looks like I am going to be in Queensland from October 15th-22nd. :D
Could I crash at somebody`s house? Also, if I want to see the Great Barrier Reef, would my best bet be to visit Hagesy in Rockhampton for a couple days?

Very, very stoked. :) See you all soon! 8)

Hell yeah ken. Hell yeah

What city is the gateway to the great barrier island, i will have to find out. I think it might be bundaberg or mackay, I am unsure.

Had a session yesterday (like always). Wrote myself down a couple of challenges.

(Note: I always start my runs with butter>butter>pdx mir>butter>butter>butter>pdx mirage so i sweat my guts, fuck myself over, and get good at butters and such.)

Challenges hit were:

Whirl Mid run
Whirl>ducking clipper Mid run.

I am about to have a session now to hit more challenges.

Having a camera is really cool.

I am going golfing with mates, armed with buggies, golf clubs, and copious amounts of alcohol.

peace
hagesy.

P.S Ken, there is not much to do in rocky, but there are places in central queensland that a really nice eg Fraser Island, Mackay, Kellys landing, Great keppel island. Actually now i think of it Fraser island is the gateway to the great barrier reef.

It is like halfway between brisbane and rocky

peace
hagesy.

Fraiser Island has pure-bread dingos! It's also the largest sand island in the world!

Central Qld is the shit!

I'd be more than happy to put you up at my place, Ken. I've just got to sweet talk my sister round (and clean out my spair room).

Props, Hagsey! Keep at it.

Yo folks

Had a shred before golfing yesterday

The highlights were

Smear>pixielegover rpt mid run

67 contact tiltless run :)

A huge run with 2 flip ripwalks, one strong ripwalk, and one strong blur. Dropped it on a legbeater attempt. (atomic opp butterfly???)

I rock

I am going to go shred now

sesh with caroline, gareth and fox-dawg yesterday.. I got there late and so did everyone else I think...lol. Sorry Gareth! Anyway we had a cool circle going on. Foxy was tearing it up hitting shiz like pdx torque (midrun!) and ripwalk>dyno. His dyno's are cool. I played shit. I had the apple splatters and a runny nose. Caroline was looking aiight and Gareth told me he played bad.

After that we went to some place and had some hot chips/drinks.

Was a cool day..
Hopefully back one day.

My poor form continued on to tonights session.
I really wasn't in the mood to play and with Foxy pulling out due to a back pain (probably from the pdx torques - he thinks), my enthuesiasm was way below depleated. It was only Caroline saying that she was still going that made me put in the effort and drive into Southbank.

I started slow, schooling clippers and ducks and shit like that. I was pretty sore from yesterdays BCS, and started feeling shin splints in my right leg early on. However, I still continued to practice... taking it easy.
I did hit Blur and some ok ripwalks, but my steps were without strength.
And then, I stopped, put some weight on my left leg and felt a really strange pain in the tendon running straight down from the patella.
That was it for me... no more footbag for the night (and probably not for the rest of the week).
I'll rest up and see how I feel.
I think I need a break, anyway. I've been pushing for too much, lately, and pushing harder is not going to knock me off this plateu - a break will (as history shows).

Caroline was pretty sore, too. She schooled her mirages and tried a few consecutives, rather than ultinating from toe stalls.
She worked her clippers a touch, but then I schooled her on osis. She managed to hit osis into a brief run a couple of times and she got props for that!

Anyway, that's all.
I still haven't watched the footage from Sunday, but I want to finish chopping up the footage from my solo session first (I'm getting slack with that). I'll probably throw my solo footage into the BCS vid somewhere - when I get to it.
Right now I'm getting into 'First To Fight'.
