I just saw Eisley at Slim's in San Francisco. Fantastic show. I got to meet them afterwards. They were super nice. Their openers Love Drug and Power Drift were great too. Catch them when they come to your town if you like bands like Guster and Coldplay.

no-fi soul rebellion. local punk band that went pretty big a decade ago. A great show. I've never been to a show that had such crowd involvment. The singer would stand amongst the people and hang and fall all over people. It was awesome. during one song he ran outside the venue and hung from a tree upside down making up words to his song. he even had a slower song and got the crowd to sit down and he would lay on people singing and rolling all over. It was rad!

hi,i saw a lot of young and realy talented bands latly.here the names of the bands,so u can look out to see one of em when they become famous :D (and i guess at least two of them will!)tiefste provinz(realy talented guys, just 16 i guess but they played a santana song on the bass(!)and it was just awesome)ex-damenbart(nice punk combo, all friends of me,realy rocking every house they get in,reached semi-finals in a big newcomer search in germany!) and last but not least a band called scream(cool metal covers, nice own songs and a hell of a voice)

allready famous bands i´ve seen:h-blockx(realy blasted me away),within temptation(not my kind, but my girl likes it,and it was for free! )fiddlers gree(independent speed heavy irish folk, extreme cool, and they rocked the show!) and gentlyman(this regea guy from germany, also not mine but it was for free also and it was fun dancing with female halfnaked stoned strangers  )

and in october i´m planning on seeing oasis!i hope they dont cancel the tour!

Monday night Dat and I went to a show in Santa Cruz: World Leader Pretend, Eisley, and Hot Hot Heat. I made a few friends at the concert...

these two moms who were SO cool. They were so fun to be around that I just hung out with them for most of the night.

Eisley was very good live if you like their music. It was a weird atmosphere for them to play in because there were so many 16 year olds waiting to see a more rock-sounding Hot Hot Heat. I don't know, strange mix. Hot Hot Heat had a lot of energy on stage. I didn't like most of their music but I like their radio hits so it was fun to hear those live. But I was very glad to have ear plugs.

In June, I saw Alkaline Trio playing with Thieves Like Us (bleh) and Rufio (alright, but nothing special). Alkaline Trio was really good, though. (Pontiac)

August: Saw Of Montreal again... loved their show, again. (Ann Arbor)

September: Saw Tilly and the Wall, Neva Dinova, David Dondero, and Orenda Fink. Really good show, except Neva Dinova's equipment kept breaking on them... I love Tilly and the Wall - they're great. (Lansing)

All the bands that I have seen...

Powerman 5000 - Alright, nothing special. They just got the crowd going pretty decent, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Papa Roach - AWESOME! They were so into it and everything they were doing was just crazy! Awesome band to see on stage!

Korn - OH MY GOD! Never have I seen a band so into there music, it's amazing he can sing and jump around like that...

Deftones - Probably the best band live. Ever. Deftones is just a band everyone wishes they were in.

GlassJAw - Probably my favorite to see, Daryl was awesome on stage, and when it opened up, he came out of a big dick that was blown up on the stage. Kind of weird, but when they open up to Pretty Lush, everyone went nuts "Give me back the pictures of me / Me, you and him that equals three" I'll never forget that

Some small local bands Industry, Dust, Undisclosed, Pedestrian Hitter, and some other band... They were all just cover bands and did a pretty good job of it...

and last but not least...

Everlcear - They were pretty good, nice, and real funny. Good concert.

Yeah, I got lucky about the Deftones show. Extra lucky to see GlassJAw with them... Those two together = best tour, ever.

Deftones were in Ottawa a few years back. 10 minutes before that show was to start it was cancelled because the singer had a sore throat! They never came back...

Last week I saw the Stills and the Most Serene Republic: both great bands.
On the 30th I am going to see Metric! :D

Last Monday I saw Stinky Lizaveta open for Clutch

One of the best shows i have been to. Clutch is one of my favorite bands, and Stinky Lizaveta was just plain nuts.

October 8th I'm going to see Unearth, Dillinger Escape Plan, Zao and A Life Once Lost. Can't wait for this, its going to be awesome.

Last show I saw was the Candy Snatchers in Va Beach. Those guys are devastating. They make most punk rock bands look like bullshit. Anything can happen--blood, whatever. They were banned after playing CBGBs for being too out of hand. Highly recommended.

A few weeks ago I saw Brian Jonestown Massacre. If you've seen Dig then you know what I experienced. Anton has not changed at all. Two weeks ago I saw M. Ward. Third time I've seen him play. Fucking brilliant live performer. Plays acoustic guitar like nobodys buisness. Tomorrow I'm going to see the Herms. Guess who the drummer is? Ryan Mulroney. This will be my first listen to the musical styles of a former footbag champion. I'll let you know how it is.
