Just keep schooling / drilling your tricks - it's good to work on sets of moves that will flow together, eventually most of it will become natural. Like an hour of drilling and shredding every day will help u out a ton, even if u only keep it up for a few weeks :) remember to get both sides. In particular, I think osis and far leg over are good moves to drill to get ur flow going.

try and focus on doing one trick to another...like try and do legover>atw and other crap like that...just keep practicing and eventually you can just keep going from one trick to the next.

No focus! No! You said yourself that you're thinking too much, which tell me that you're probably trying to string tricks that are really too hard for you right now. When you're freestyling, it has to be all natural, one trick to another. This isn't to say that you have to stop working new moves, but I'd suggest that you make some sort of distinction between freestyling and drilling. If mindless freestyle for you right now is basically a bunch of toe delays with the odd clipper thrown in, then do that! Believe me, when you let your creative impulse guide your play your drops will go way down and you'll be getting far more contacts per session (less time picking up the bag, less frustration, less abuse on your joints from repeated attempts at 'next step' moves) which will develope your general rhythm, flow, and coordination in a way that forcing the difficult moves never will.

I have the exact opposite problem where I think about moves too far ahead. I will be thinking of some crazy link I want to hit in three contacts and because of that mess up an easier trick, sometimes I even start a trick before finishing the last one. Maybe I am weird :p

no jon, you're not weird. i do the same thing. ill be doing bops to set up for a trick or link and ill drop the pdx mirage thats setting me up for toe shuffle or something. it happens all the time. i need to think 2 tricks ahead, not 5

I have sometimes problems with the flow too - I just sometimes can't come up with the next trick and drop with doing nothing or do a toe delay. :) Maybe I should plan some links and combos to be done during the run and just fill the gaps with tricks that come up to mind at the moment.
