I schooled mobius and double spinning a lot today. I couldn't get double spinning beesauce, but I blame that on the fact that it got really dark really fast, and I couldn't play anymore (especially to be able to double spot).
It's 2:40 minutes, and 10 megs.

I also started doing more plantless regular ducking clippers when I last played with Derek. I think I lost my style from never playing, though, because I look all choppy and my run length has reverted Sad

Refreshing video Erik! It was a good break from all of this dex dex dex madness.
I love your style! Its good to see so much spinning and inspinning and toe spinning and zooming. Youve inspired me to expand my dexless game! Inspinning should be fun to learn.
Thanks for a portal to your footbag game.

Very very sweet. This is very much the kind of style I am working on, so its great to get new ideas and inspiration from you. I especially liked the drill with inspinning clipper... maybe you could expand it? I also loved the no-plants on the ducking tricks, those make them so much better looking and harder. Double spins looked really slow... any advice? i want to pick those up. Thanks for the vid. I`ll try and throw more dexless in today`s session because of that.
Thanks so much, guys!!
I swear I didn't write those last two words in my post -- I submitted and then came back and read it and laughed so much because it's all capitalized and emphasizing, when I didn't mean to, but it's great!
Ken -- I have to conentrate pretty hard, still, to get my double spinning just right. What I concentrate most on is the first "spot", and simultaneously the height of the set -- these are the things that I have the most trouble with. Other things that mess me up are that bloody shoulder, and losing balance, and spinning way off into the distance -- what will help with this is setting straight up, and the only thing I've come up with so far for staying in one spot during the spins is that first spot, which I try to do INSTANTANIOUSLY after the set (without pulling the clipper set, y'know?) Once you have that straight, at-LEAST-shoulder-high set, you want to spot it NOW, and then pretend the second spin is just a regular spinning clipper afterwards. It's all about that spot, otherwise you will throw in way too many steps like I did starting out, and falling all over yourself. The day I figured out double spinning was the day that I helped Derek figure out void -- I told him to spot RIGHT AWAY, and then he hit it first try, back-to-back, midstring, followed by morpheus. This is just my advice, though...I'm just a newb to double spinning -- it's still pretty inconsistant.

I feel you. The whole gimp hip thing we got going on, I've been forced to work on things like spins and ducks...which are actually growing on me.
It's nice to see you making serious progression in your game despite your unfortunate circumstances health-wise.

Wow Erik, I love your style so much. I want your spins sooooo bad...they are so even bs!
btw, in the july2005-chan vid, what was the song used? Greatest music ever.
EDIT: I have to reply again. Every time I watch your game I get the BIGGEST urge to shred. Its so awesome. When I think of your style, a word that comes to my head is "precise". Only one thing to criticise; When you do a right toe set you set the bag on the outside of your leg. Personally I think it looks better goin straight up, or on the inside..but maybe it hurts to do that for you.

Nice video, Erik. How'd the hips feel? Don't got much to say other than you're looking pretty good.
The lighting kinda sucked, though.
Oh yeah, what in the hell is it with you Canadians and gloves when you're footbagging?
