I just got another today from Jochen Bauer -- it had a super amazingly nicee message in it, that made me feel super happy!!
I also got one from Henry G about a month ago, and kept forgetting to post.I have a big stack now, and it's awesome!! It would be so great if EVERYONE who played footbag was into this and everyone would eventually have a postcard from EVERYONE :D
I think it's sooo rad :)

Thanks again to Emily for organizing this!!!!!!!!! Hey, Emily are you even in the exchange??

EDIT: Also got one from Beatrice today :D

What do you all think about:

When someone has a birthday in the coming month, everyone else would get the B-day person's address in the same PM as the two people they're already sending to. It wouldn't be manditory to send to the person or to give me your b-day if you didn't want other people to know it.

This would mean sending 0-a few extra every month. If a bunch of you like the idea and we want to do it, please PM me your birthdate instead of posting it here.

Edit: There are about some people who are running out of new people to send cards to. (Which means if we don't get some new people in the mix we'll have to start sending to people we've already sent to and getting cards from people we've already gotten cards from.) If you get a chance to, ask some people if they want to try it for a month or two.

I got on from Jeremy yesterday! Woo. Yes, my footbag game is doing rather well at the moment.

However, there seems to be an extra letter in my last name
Oh, Rustard, a classic. I have seen it spelled a whole lot worse though.

Oh, well, you wrote it at work, so it makes sense that you might not have had direct refence to my last name.

We don't need to do this every months, but I would really appreciate knowing who is staying up on sending. The people that I know sent postcards the last exchange are:

Bryin
Jeremy
Beatrice
Erik
Jochen

Maybe postcards are getting old? Or they're not enticing enough for everyone. Maybe we could do a footbag exchange or something? Or, like, send something in the mail that everyone signs, and gets a piece of...somehow? Like we could each buy a tshirt, or someone could design a MODIFIED.CA FOOTBAG tshirt, send a bunch out to everyone interested, everyone signs, and mails to everyone else, and everyone winds up with a shirt signed by everyone!! I guess the only problem with that is the cost of mailing, like, 20 tshirts, over the course of....however long it takes...a couple months.

yeah expensive...

I'm happy with postcards - even if it is such a small group of us, it's still fun everytime you get a postcard or send a card and here that the person got it. I'm happy to keep sending :) I sometimes send out cards to random people too :)

For sure! Receiving things in the mail is such a pleasant surprise, it doesn't matter who it's from!
