New to forum and sport

Hey,

I'm new to this forum and footbag. I've been shredding since August (05). I currently have a Sandmaster and Mr. Sandbag (I ordered another Mr., should come in a few days). I can do toe stalls and all basic kicks and sometimes inside stall (my record is 78 ). I'm looking at shoes (my limit: $30) and I saw a lot of good Adidas shoes. I can't save up my money because it is a present given only for a short time so I need to buy the shoes this week. All the Rod lavers sold at local stores are $65 so I definitly can't buy those. Does anyone suggest any type that are 15-30 bucks? Like shoes at Footlocker or something? I found these sweet shoes but I didn't have any money so I couldn't get them, I also didn't know if they were good or bad, they have a nice toe area, flat sides, made by adidas... I also can't order online so yeah... Any comments are appreciated!

78 inside stalls??? Thats very good. A good place to search for shoes is on ebay or possibly someone on modified that has a new pair.

woops I meant 78 kicks..my record for stalls is 12...

I can't order online since I don't have a credit card and everyone i know says I shouldn't trust ebay... So I dunno what to do

Ah yeah, I read too fast. Would your parents let you use their credit card? I don't know if there are many shredders in Hawaii, but if you did find someone, they would probably help you out. And about ebay, I don't think someone is gonna rip you off selling some "plain old" shoes.

My parents just agreed that they would let me use thier credit card but I have to pay for my own stuff. I checked ebay and they don't have my size (12.5-13). Do you know of any other site that might sell old modified shoes? I searched..couldn't find anything.. I have a few friends whom are shredders but they have the same problem as me. Other shredders are old "Hacky sack" hippies...

keep searching ebay, check at least daily. You'll be able to find something. You could also try the "FOR SALE" section on modified

My parents don't approve of me buying old shoes. I need new ones they said.. Does anyone know of shoes that are good for footbag besides rod lavers? I searched but couldn't find anything (in the forum I mean). That are low priced $10-$30. I found two pairs of rod lavers (my size: 13) one for 10 and one for $5. I was gonna get the $5 one but its used

look on www.worldfootbag.com than look at footmart and choose what u want to buy, lavers are the main shoe to buy on that site and they are the cheapest "new" shoe that is id say is awesome for footbag, its hard to find anything in ur price range that is new, good luck and keep shreding

Not all ebay shoes are necesarily "used". Ebay is definately the best place for deals on Lavers, if you look hard.

I tried saving but my shoes are totally ruined..Its like 5 years old. It has holes and everything. I can't wait a while. Money around here is hard to get (I can't get a job or anything). I can maybe cut grass but.. now its the weekdays (damn school). I could buy the lavers right now (I do have the money) but thats my savings.. I've been saving since like..3rd grade.. Its just hard for me to decide. I owe 60 bucks already to my dad and -50 for lavers would be a lot..

trust me..i think anyone on this forum will back me up on this one....get the lavers...you will be happy...if your starting to really get into footbag get lavers..thats basically the only thing i can tell you...GET THE LAVERS if you have the money...will be the best investment you have ever made.

You guys say it so lightly but its just hard for me.

I spent already like 70 bucks the past two months! Thats a lot for me! If I buy shoes just out of the blue then..I just can't.. I want to and I know I will be happy. I just..its just hard

Plus there are no blue lavers which I want (size 12.5-13). I now totally regret buying shi* like my books (which are comics) and stuff I don't need.. I never knew about footbag until August when I went crazy and now need shoes! I tried the lavers at a store and I was like in heaven or something!

I just shredded for like 10 minutes and the lady working there said am I going to buy them and I just stared at her..

I need those freaking shoes!

I'm gonna think about this and try to earn as much money as I can! But school is always in the way.

Excuse me if I make it sound a bit negative, I really didn't mean it that way. Isn't there any possibility that your parents could help you with this? I mean, your shoes are 5 years old and totally wrecked?

Anyways, you probably know your goal at the moment - hopefully you also know how to achieve it. G'luck with your Laver-hunting, always nice to have new shredders.

Check out your nearest Footlocker, they go around $40.

I'm sure your parents would lend you $10, wouldn't they?

Well actually I already owe my parents money for my ukulele and a present.. Footlocker sells lavers for $65 individually (?!) and $85 for two pairs. Every shoe store I went to have the same price.. My parents made like a policy, if I loan them money and don't pay them back, then they won't lend me more cuz my sis owed them like 200 bucks after a while and didn't pay them back for like 3 months. All I need to do is go to the bank to get money.. And every kid in my school has "Allowances" I never had one and I doubt I will

So it's hard to earn money. My mom is willing to pay about 25 for shoes so I might be able to get lavers!

But I'd have to order online.. I also found some nice deals on Ebay (I don't really give a shi* if the shoes smell or are a little worn out, but my parents do

) but I still can't order the shoes.. They are really good deals! I'd save ike $35

its not hard to get a job at a local grocery store for like 6 50 an hour and its better than nothing , and if your parents are cheap then why wouldnt they let you buy a used pair of shoes that are cheepeer!!!1 and there broken in already its like 2 positive things
