I decided to try and get a job yesterday. I biked to WSTO, the local TV station here. I walked in, introduced myself with a good handshake and my name. He was on the phone so he told me to go in back and talk to "Bell". I was thinking it would be a woman.
I walked back, there were about 7 doors. I opened all of them, and realized that he was more towards the front of the building
We met, again I shook his hand. He was editing a TV show. We talked and he "interviewed" me. I told him that i know my way around Adobe Premiere Pro. He was impressed. About a minute later he hands me some papers. "Yeah just call when you are done filling these out, and we'll put you on the schedule."
I have a job now! I left and thanked both of them. Brent and BILL. i think brent misspoke and called him bell.
On another good note, a kid on my soccer team was amazed at my footbagging. He is GETTING lavers! oh my god! He has hit 4 alternating toe stalls in his skate shoes, and footed around the world.
Wow im lovin this.
My job is $7 / hour! Oh my god! I am gonna be cameraman and video editor.
woooooot!

k that should be no problem
Going on a field trip today. We have more field trips in high school than we ever did in elementary school. Ive taken 3 in 2 weeks. Mwahahaha.
Im making this really cool song in Garage Band. Its a program on the Apple computers in our school. I have this really really cool transition from a funk song into hard rock. The funk bassline leads into a rock piano, and then an orchestra comes in, about 1 measure after the orchestra comes in a rock guitar riff joins it. Its really cool.

Good to see that my video got the comments it deserved. Seriously, it wasnt actually good, i just felt like putting out a video.
I had 3 sessions today
The one i just had produced about a 20 contact run with spinning pdx mirage bsos and gyro mirage bsos, with spinning butter/ducking butter bsos also
lots of long runs. With variety. Fun stuff

I liked the spinning clipper > spinning butterfly, and the half of rubberman was pretty hot.
...But the strobe-light effect at the start was really distracting. Overall though, I'm really glad you put that out. It's fun to see what you're up to... since I can't see you kick in person. :/

Here are my general thoughts right now
-My stepping sets are really really clean because they are two distinct movements. Instead of hopping with both legs at the same time i set plant dex very quickly. Although this is really clean, i cant get much height. They are consistent but if i want more height to do cooler stepping tricks, i need to change my technique
-Flip pixie is doing really well. I can hit smears/dimwalks midrun easy now both sides. Some more skooling of that and they should but really smooth.
-Spinning. What more can i say? I rarely screw up a spin on either side. I love it. I have recently skooled gyro/spinning mirages, and those feel pretty comfortable. I dont think i have a flip spin.
-Ducking. This used to be really really solid. I let it slip a bit, but im gonna skool it again and make it easy as pie. Like it should be
-Atomics are coming back to me without much effort on my part. Smear>atomsmasher repeat really surprised me after like 2 months of not doing atomics. Especially to do it out of smear bsos.
-Osis. If i actually pay attention during this i dont miss. I have been skooling it and it has been showing. It helps run length and i think is a "harder" bail than butterfly. Spinning/ducking osises are quite easy too. Gyro and diving are almost as easy.

Nice vid.
Blizzard was cool, you should do more Illusions.
Where were the Drifters and Torques? Skool, boy.
Some of the Spinning Butterflies were a bit sloppy, try to lift your knee more to make it look more like a Butterfly.
More sets, definetly.
Keep on it - and add Whirls and Double Dexes to your trick selection, you game could really use them

Here are the tips David clavens gave me on steps and whirls:
stepping: keep clipper close to body. set, plant, and lift leg smoothly, not in a jerking motion.
whirls: point toes. bring your leg around the bag quickly, and slightly behind you, instead of on you side. rotate your body towards the bag on downtime and pdx whirls.
they helped alot for me.
