bop [repeat] - thanks joe. i never thought of that combo (why the hell...?)

i mainly trained my osisse. what a long, long way to get them. everybody says: just wait, one day they feel like clippers... lol

!
nice - no need to thank.

I guess you should turn more when doing osii and not to try to carry the bag that long.

I really think that the carrying is the difficult part where you often drop the bag . Just turn more and you have a clipper .

hope this helps.

btw do you know something about my shred score ?

@ joe: nope, sorry.

fab is your man! i could give you his phone number!

yesterday was regular session.
after german championships we have some newbies that come regular now. those are from 13-14 years. best age to start!
i think, they have much potential. they are learning toe stalls really fast and the best of him did 10 in a row. big success for just 3 times of training, or?
i believe, when they keep coming, they will progress really fast!

yesterday the unneraner made us happy, with their coming. i haven´t seen andre shred for a long time and i can´t believe my eyes: WHIRR, PDX TORQUE and a crazy blazing set made me wondering. wow, he is working more than 8 hours every day in a machine hall or something like that and still finds time and power to shred like a maniac.
Nils was in no good shape, he went crazy after various drops and teached our youngsters a bit.
I also had powerless legs after the training the day before. i can´t really do an atomic set, without having pains. nevertheless i had some good runs. well that one included pdx eggbeater, pdx drifter, bubbabeater and guiltless shred. OH, and i am very happy about my newest osis progression. they are coming better and better. its just a feeling thing. set > look look look during your are turning slow > turn your head > stall that one works for me, even when i feel, that setting at the right point is important.
i counted infinities for the first time and i hit 31. good hit, but i can probably do more.
today is break, tomorrow is regular training.
training the fucking pixie is so annoying. but i guess, i should get some more toe sets, than a fairy one.

i am thinking about wwoofing in japan. that means, working on a farm, a healing centre or so and getting a bed and food for it. the rest, you can explore the surroundings. i am so interested in getting to know the japanese culture. well, i can´t even speak a single japanese word (Wakarimasen! ?), but i´d do a language course in the front. the next month, i wanna go to a fabric, to get some money and to pay the flight.
well, i will see, if that fast idea will turn in real!

Talk to Ken Somolinos! He's in(to) Japan.

I think I told you before, but crazy good job on hosting and moderating the GFO. From what I understood of your speeches in German, you were very funny... :D

hahaha, YOU are funny! i think, i was too nervous to make any jokes. i just used the most important informations and free speaking was hard for me. but i will train in for the future!

well yep, i will definately contact Team Japan, if i´ll be there. but that quick idea is in the stars. i just can imagine, what a blast would be it for me. well the future shows me, what will happen. it´s about getting work and money now, so i can colllect enough. i will see...

today was also regular session in the gym. the three youngsters were, also micha, anna and etienne.
i gave each of the kids a footbag, we (the club) own. they paid the 5 euros for their take-up and now they are OFFICIALLY MEMBER OF DEXTERITY DORTMUND! WooooHHooooOOOo! the club is growing and growing, we started with 10 members, now we are 17!!!! it´s so beautiful to watch, how the little plant is growing and getting bigger and bigger we seeded!
because i am tomorrow on a wedding, i had to get some stuff. that causes, i was too late for training and just had one hour to play.

i played uneffective. no plan or stuff, i´d like to school. my thoughts were away. i had one nice run, including pdx whirl, far reverse whirl and whirl > rev whirl.
i really don´t whirl often, but when i want to, i can hit it.

after ending, i recognized, that my right knee is hurting!! ohhh wait.... i did whirls!!!!! FAKK!! everytime i think, it´s now ok for me to do whirls, i come back in pain. there was one time, i couldn´t walk downstairs. i couldn´t bend my right knee, without pains.
i won´t do them in the future and cut them completely out of my game. or i will try a different way to dex. but that is much harder, as it sounds!

well, right now, i fell it on the inner side of my right knee, what a weird pain!

goodnight everybody. tomorrow will be loooooooooooooooooong and tiring at the marriage!

yesterday was regular session in the sports room.

the kids attended and progressed well. both did over 10 toe stalls and they hit ss mirage and mirage. they will progress quickly, if they don´t quit playing.

i played without really schooling. osis is getting better and better. i really wanted to hit it a long time ago, but didn´t spend time on it. after some good advices from fab0rze, they come better and better.
i hit dod a couple of times. wanna hit it both sides!!!

i tried a few times smp bubbabeater, but failed. smp bubba and pdx eggbeater are easy for me, but that extra dex including symposium is too hard for me! i should get both (pdx egg, smp bubba) very constant to climb up the new level.

i footed a nice combo, which i liked: pdx drifter > pdx dlo > paradon

paradon´s and double dexes come better and better. next time, i´m going for dod flip and barfly flip. i feel a BIIIIIIIG difference between paradon and barfly. barfly is much harder than the toe setted type.

i found out, that viktor is hitting blurs, whirls over and over, but can´t barely do two consecutive atw´s on his flipside!!!!!! well, we all focussed him, when he had to prove it. he dropped really on the second! what a shame!!!!! he was pissed on and didn´t really care about it :D i laughed in his face.

random hits that session:

tap > paradon

dlo > atom smasher > dlo

10 consecutive alternating smp mirages ( ss smp mirage > ss smp mirage)

again the infamous pdx mirage > paradon > pdx mirage > paradon drill (next time blur instead of pdx mirage, muahaha  )

bop bsos

pixie legover bsos ( i should TRAIN pixie. i should!!!!!!)

sweeet last session. a lot of sweat, noisy jungle and some efforts!

goals were:

dlo > paradon bsos ( wooohooooo, that felt supergood. i handcatched it, after the second combo, cause of my YEEEEAHHHH!!!!)

lots of osisisisis (everytime, they feel better!)

tap bsos

i also worked on my stepping set, which hardly sucks. well, after a short period of time, my legs are too tired and i can´t hit a single stepping set. i hit ripwalk, blur and stepping legover on both sides, but as i said, after a few tries, i am unable, to do more. i feel like i need more power to push them hard. i don´t like to school it...

oh and i gave some tries for a new sick trick: pdx flailing stallberger (it rolled of the foot, several times... i will get it some day)

today is training again

Props on that stallberger thing! And on dlo>paradon. I think it's pretty hard to control a dlo catch, which you have to do if you wanna double dex after it!

Hmmm, if you really dislike skooling steps, there are two options for you now:
-don't do them - it's freestyle, you're not obliged to do steps
-hang in there and get to the point where you can throw them in without any effort. I remember skooling ripwalk and blur last year and being too tired to set after the trick (provided that I hit it!). That was really frustrating, but after a few months I had stepping soo dialed, it didn't give me any trouble.

A thing I've noticed: I think you should try and clipper deeper on your flipside. That will give you more time for the stepping. On stepping, it helps to make the set very small and to plant quickly/immediately, so you can get of your dexing leg soon, so you can step easily, so you can improve, so you can become German champion, so you can become a professional footbagger, so you are no longer unemployed, so you...

Ahhh, dreams are what keep us un-emloyees alive

heyho everybody.

gotta shoot some things :

whirls and swirls dont hurt my knee at all... maybe its my powerspikernetlegs.

i cant do atw-flipside. well sometimes.. mostly they either drop or look silly.

i did some dlo->dod but could not land dlo->paradon. close though.

im so much into freestyling right now. played net for 5 hours on last friday and could not walk for three days, played 5 hrs freestyle this week and went to a club right after. no problems. funny thing is that fs is so much more exhausting (sp?)

get you new members to sing on .org.

did anybody receive my mail concerning the DM-particpant listing. its not a big deal, but i dont really like to have anybody finding my mail-adress in google. (at least not this one... footbag-purposes only)

i´m alerady prepping things for AIO06.. gonna be very different this time.. better of course. the fs-finals will be in a BIG club in holland. like 20mins. by foot from the gym. getting into sponsoring already and i got a nice answer from intersport here in aachen.

i finished those net sets... finally. if dexdo wants a (complete-in-carrybag) net gimme a shout.

but fb.de is still not existing. that sucks. i want somebody to help me here. i could do all the stuff but i´m not motivated... i need somebody to come over and kick my ass somehow.

anyway, im goin to berlin tomorrow. so i hope to make some serious freestyle training there.

sorry for takin over. i´m just a bit bored.
hope to see you guys soon!

(whats up with a little west-germany jam? i can have that huge gym almost any weekend, so if you wanna kick just tell me.)

yo justin,

yeah, thats quite a nice invitation. very important is, that you have the gym the WHOLE day (+ night perhaps). we should date it on late november or early december. then we should have enough time, to announce it and invite everybody. i ( + dexdo-team, i guess) am really interested for a small one day jam! the colognes can be activated as well as all other NRW-people!

the championships-site should be changed soon. the results will be shown official and some press can be viewed. and, your mail-adress won´t be shown anymore :)

whoah, your idea on doing the finals in holland is GREAT!!!!!! i really look forward to lots of more netherland-tourneys!!! and doing aio-finals in holland is a first big step!!!

what help exactly do you need for creating the homepage?

greetings and fffun in berlinium

i can have the gym from friday 20h to sunday 20h. including sleeping.
how about around nikolaus (dec. 6th).

doin the finals in hooland was not my idea, i work together with some hip-hop project guys, they´ve been there some times before. (me too of course) check out spuugh.com if you have too much time.
but i don´t think there will be NL-tourneys in the next years... there are just no real footbaggers in holland. i invited everybody to the aio in the last years and from the feedback i can say they all stopped kicking.

actually i dont really need help doing the webpage, though it would be nice. i need somebody to... sit next to me, give advice, criticise and those things. its just fuckin boring alone in front of the pc, doing routine-job-stuff. i´d love to write some cool articles. but my fellow kickers around are too fuckin lazy. alone sucks, i need feedback. thats more or less why things arent coming forward (let alone that vik is not really... available). if i would work on it for one (complete) day everything would be ready.

i asked my exgirlfriend about that and she will help me sometime ... that would be cool because she is a pr-professional (shes really good in writing!) and we two are a pretty good team (we worked together on some projects and tey turned out to be ... lets say financially beneficial ;) and at the very moment i could even stand her presence.

have you seen the new design i made... like it?

mmh got to pack my stuff now.

i´ll negotiate about the gym around that time.. you could ask around if your people are interested and have time then.

cu, justin

Dude! That post rocks sooo haaard! You can soooo count me in!

It rocks equally hard that you can have that gym 'any' time. Damn you people are lucky.

It is also nice to hear that you have been freestyling a lot lately. I bet you will kick ass soon (dlo>dod what?!)

Date: 05.10.2005

Status: unemployed

Hits: double switchover both sides (i even found out, that my weak left leg is better in dbl switchovers than my stronger right one... :? )

lots of paradons both sides (and i got the difference between the one above and paradon. when i wanna hit a paradon i set the bag way more on the outside to fall in the butterfly. the dbl switchover needs to be setted more in front of the body. well..... maybe someone is interested in that.)

i worked, like every session, on osis. this fucking trick is unbelievable. everyone says: "yeah, when you have it, it feels like a clipper" 8O 8O 8O clippah? NO WAY!!)

i tried a couple of times flail and smp bubba on my flipside, but failed!

random stuff:

hrhr, i found some pictures on my pc. so if anyone is interested, what the dexdo crew is doing, when they feel boring watch out here:
vik: Image
sebastian: Image
anna: Image
myself: Image

CLICK FOR BIG!

all those pictures were shot during last sylvester, when we costumed us for a costume-sylvester-party. it was a lot of fun, driving with the tram and undergground bahn, when noone is costumed, but everyone is in party feeling. we got lots of positive comments. when we entered the party, noone was costumed and everyone watched us like: 8O wow, it felt like in a bad movie... after looking 8O a bit, we drank some more and changed our face to 8) . i can tell you this sylvester 04/05 was extremely weird. we went to 2 different parties, we looked like we´re coming from hell, but we had so much fun!!!

two men session... it went quite good for me.

finally i got my lazy train ass up and started to work on stepping set.

had ripwalk bsos, blur bsos and stepping legover bsos. i decided to work from now on at them. they have to be in my repertoire

i also hit double switchover bsos and a nice combO: dbl switchober > paradon

ducking butterfly bsos

oh yeah and also spinning clipper > barfly

i´m happy with that :D

today was the first session in our new location.

thursdays shred will be held in a big skatepark without any skaters 8)
harrr, we have the whole big hall for us 4 shredders, with massive music and big lights. i guess, next big dortmund tournament will be there!!!

we started with 3 people (etienne, anna, me). first there were lots of turkish kids, who kicked in a streetsoccer field. when they finished, we began the session. there are nearly 4 hours, that we can fill. i checked the soundsystem and i can tell you, it rocked! we turned the volume to 1/5 of the possible sound. that was way enough!!

well, we slowly warmed us up. after one and a half hour, a specialguest arrived. joe aka doctorjay pleased us with his arrive.
i was tired of the monday session, but joe had pushed me.

finally my goals were:

 drifter > torque

 far rev whirling rake midstring

 and after some tries and really REALLY good advice from joe i managed to hit: far swirl i also came close to it on my flipside. i guess, in the next 2 weeks i will hit flip.
wow yeah, that trick really felt good.

tomorrow next training

aaargh.

i had a chat with the uni-gym chiefs and the were really sorry to tell me:
i can forget it!
some fuckin horsemen puked all over the place and some rugby people made some serious damage...
thus the gym will no longer be available for anything but uni-specific sports events (there are exactly 2 of that kind a year)

i can still rent the gym for 60eur/hour and a 5000eur deposit. so for a friday evening to sunday evening event that would be 3000.- plus deposit.

that means: no big gym in aachen, no westjam there, maybe not even another AIO. fuckin hell!

well justin, that are baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad news for sure!!!! shiit, the big aachen gym is so cool!

i will look, what i can do for a jam in dortmund. we now have a big youth centre in our back, where we have two more sessions a week. i guess, they are cooperative, so maybe, we can put up a small jam there. i will talk to them on next tuesday!

yup, today was training in the big agora. a inner room of a huge youth centre, which has also a big swimming hall and a skatepark.
we got a good bunch of people together (nils, jochen, etienne, anna, me) and met at 6 p.m. we had time till 10 p.m., so i started calm my warmup.
the shred from tuesday was still in my legs, so i recognized i won´t play today as good as i could do. all in all it was a nice first meeting in the dkh.

nils had a short shred delay for 2 weeks or so, but played today with full power. his hits:

 WHIRLYGIG!!!!

 a supernice combo, which i challenged him (but that one was way too soft...): diving osis > diving osis

 blurry whirl > blurry whirl

 double mirage (to clean it, do it next time again please :D )

my little progress:

 flail flipside finally. that was hard work, and i can do now 1 of 5 i guess, but i´m really happy to finally hit it on my flipside!

 had blurry dlo on my foot, but couldn´t catch it (i guess, that would be the first fiver!!!)

 double switchover bsos

yo,

i have to fill some days.

well last friday was a blast. i enteres the worlds biggest convention for boardgames, roleplaying games, etc. it´s called "Spiel 05" and it was in Essen, a city close to Dortmund (maybe 30 min by car with full traffic).
i guess, there were about a few thousand people, playing games, chatting the whole day. i saw lots of live roleplaying guys, which had fantastic costumes. they battled each other with plastic weapons outside the hall.
i was looking for some games and ended up in buying "Zombies!!!" combined with the expansion "Zombie Corps(e)". it´s published by the twilight creations team. it´s an easy dice game with hundreds of mini plastic zombie figures, that like to eat your character. well, i played it once. it was fun!
after that 6 hour madness, i drove to the next city, duisburg. there is a big park with lots of old steel industry, mining houses, factorys and so on. i got for birthday a present from my parents to climb over furnaces and industry halls. that climbing trip lead 3 hours to 10 p.m. in the night and the highlight was a walk over a thin steel rope in 55 metre height. the beautiful look over the dark ruhrgebiet was amazing!!!! yeah, it was frikkin cold up there and the tour ended in roping yourself to the ground from 40 metre height. all in all it cost 80 euros, which i think was a bit too much, but i really enjoyed it.

oh yes, i also played some footbag in the past:

yesterday we had a visit from jakob mai. he was in herdecke, not far from dortmund and came down to a session. i didn´t feel good yesterday, but managed to hit smp bubba flipside. yoh, it took me a long time, but now i nailed it. i felt tired and was not satisfied with me.

today i had a two men session with micha. we played in the skatepark on top of a ramp. that wood surface i pretty good, maybe a bit slippery. i hit smp bubba bsos which felt much better than in the past. we played for three hours and it was ok. i didn´t go for long runs, mainly short combos. i shooled stepping set and realized i just do the fairy on the start of a run, so i went for pdx mirage > fairy something.
yup, that was it.

good night!

hrhr yeh. but a funny one. i ordered a bag o´zombies with 100 extra zombies, cause i need some more!!

had two small sessions the last days:

inspired by jorden in the danish dynamite movie in the kildenpark, i tried some dragons and it really went well.

footed clipper > dragon stall a several times on both sides. and hit far dragon. well, is it far dragon? set on left foot clipper and stall in the dragon position with the right foot.
i can´t really set out of it, i.e. to hit a pdx mirage out of it. i turn myself around and set from outside stall.

my overall game is ok. i don´t feel that much progresses...

bla, i´m tired of writing. had a bad sleep today.
