I saw these shoes for 25 bucks at a store yesterday. And was wondering if anyone knows anything about them. I didn't get to try them on but I have heard that is good for Footbag. I didn't see the structure knowing if its good but thats all I know. Anyone know anything? Heres a pic:

They are not good for footbag for the following reasons:

-> They are a boot... you will have a hell of a time bending your ankle for clippers in those things, you can get low cut shoe ones but the following are wrong with them too...

-> The sole is flipping heavy, much more heavy than the sole of a Rod Laver.

-> That big white bit on the front makes the toe box smaller and the shoe is already quite narrow so there isn't much of a toe box anyway.

-and they have no mentionable instep at all. clippers are virtually impossible to land, unless you catch it higher, on the side of the shoe, which is impossible because of the height of the ankle that balinorNZ already mentioned.

If you search around online (ebay for instance), you can find a good pair of lavers for a similar, possibly better price.. Do it.

i have a pair that are low cut and suede. they consecutive kick really good (almost better than lavers) but lacks in freestyle

I find that lavers are one of the worst shoes there are for consecutive kicking, but then who cares?

If you want to be the consecutive kicking master, i think some massive skate shoes might be the best.

I play in chucks... unfortunately... clippers are insanely hard. I find the tow box is great, except for the rubber bit on the end flopping around... feels really unco... don't shred in these shoes...

Yeah. They suck for footbag and the shock absorb on them sucks even more. I got a pair of American flag all stars and other than wearing them for shits, I don't wear them that often.
