hello to my footblog, cumpulsive checkers, my friends. and most of all hello modified,
I got the internet today. I may be on the fizzied alot more now, but probably not as active as over the summer.. those were some fun posts/chat conversations! Its 1:17am right now and I've had some jose quervoe, maybe alot, and things are goin well. I took today off from shredding. For some reason I keep wanting to type about girls but I keep earasing what I have to say..... :D but thats a good thing I guess.

laver shred has been good and I don't think that will stop any time soon. whirling swirl, fairy and bedwetter are the moves that have stuck from summers training. Kicking on campus is a rememberable treat that seems to get more fun the more I do it. Unfortunatly the weather is turning gloomy and the sights might not be as cheery as they once were.
I did a shred demo in my psychology gen ed class. That was fun. music classes have been going well. I will graduate this year! All the jams I've had thus far have been productive, I definatly feel like a senior.. I can't believe how long it has taken me to write this little....I'm either very buzzed or can't write about what I REALY want to talk about...yup

I've been feeling alot like the cleaver with my shred latly, its been lots of fun. Malory thinks my form is top notch, not that shes seen anyone else play b4. OK time to go show off for Cory.

hello modified,

When was the last time you were drunk at work and it was totaly cool?
I had a decent shred with James today and we drank some spiced rum straight, as to save calories, and watched some Champions league. Every time I see vaseks scorpions>flurry in SF I drool. I'm listening to Joe henderson, In Pursiut of Blackness, and thus far I've known all the tunes they have played. Jazz is much more enjoyable and interesting when you know the tunes, random notes and geniuse are very closly related after all... AHHHH.....Well I just gazed at my fingers for 2 minuets and didn't come up with anything more to say aboot jazz, except that it owns my soul.
I love lavers. I can't see kicking in anything else for a while, or until I gain 15 lbs back..... phone just rang....Yeah girls/ it definatly has slowed down around campus now that the sun isn't out all day long. I did get a call from an Amber, who I aparently met a week ago, and am invited to a pasta night with some of her girl friends, I pray I don't have to show up and know which one Amber is! ha, wooo the cd just went from a drum solo to a bass solo? Orginal!
So 2 months until I get to venture back to Northern Cali, I hope its as happening there when I return as when I left. I sure Black Jack has replaced me and than some.... Still working on the flow Tsaing, I can skat now but I bet that is just as good as farting in your books.
well thats about all I haven't erased yet...one of these times I'm just gunna wriote and not back track on paragraphs that I have writen. I wonder what I'm hideing? and who I'm hiding it from? MAybe myself??? I love psycology. But for some reason I keep getting D's in my english class. Go figure?
MUCH LOVE!

just got done my first session in close to 2 weeks!!!!!
First time in 3.5 years that has happened. Last time I took a week off I felt like a fat, lazy, bastard. This time I felt like a shredding, in shape, bastard. I told James I didn't have money for him and he seemed pretty pissed, understandably, and the adrenaline gave me a run with tons of sick shit. The games feeling realy good and hopefully I'll play alot this break, not to mention post alot on the fizzied. For all of you who don't like sarcastic- mispelled-flame-throwing posts....look out!
--------------------------------------------
After relaxing a bit I remember hitting alpine blur and ps whirl x 2. Those and swirls, reverse and far, made me feel pretty good. I will be in the bay area California USA for the next 3.5 weeks. I should be skooling my guitar chops and arranging charts, but more than likely I'll live the good life with the local shredders.

just read my last 2 pages of blog and have a huge smile on my face! Not sure if its from the blog or the 3rd glass of kalua and vodka I'm on. I'm currently listening to the Dave brubeck quartet and breaking in m mirken bag. So I'm back in the bay area now and have already visited, partied with, and shredded with torch and tsaingtung...HOPEfuly a mirken session will follow. I can't tell you how great this area is. 40min to oakland, 30 min to San Fransicsco, 60 min to Santa Cruz. If everything goes right this is where I will end up when the real world hits..shit 6 months away!!!!
I had a solo shred today, first in a long time. I went pretty well. I'm finding I am torn between playing like Alesh and old school myself, the former being good form, hard tricks, and short runz; the latter being long, easy, runz with sketchy form and execution. I love both sytles and hopefully will find a compermise between the 2.
Soooo I alays lose motivation 2 paragraphs in... hmm I thought I had alot to say but I guess not. Anyway.... beer, tunes and shred. LIVE IT!

Damn Nate don't undersell yourself or anything... The other clips that Dat has online are pretty slick, too. Props, though -- mobius>inspinning clipper looks like a crazy good time.

Nate,

That stuff looked really solid. I liked the shuffle. Your style has gotten a bit tighter too, but still keeps the looseness that I enjoyed before. I used to not be a fan of your game, and I'm not quite sure why, but now you look a lot more confident, and a lot more in control. You hit good tricks at good spots. I like how your not so focused around spinning and ducking anymore, but you throw them when it fits, and normally they are 4's.

Some advice would be to do more tripless stuff, which you obviously can do like the line in the 2nd last video. I think pdx. drifter, spinning pdx. mirage, barfly, pdx. dlo, and gyro dlo are all really good tricks for your game, and you could make some really good combos with them. And hey, maybe some more 5's wouldn't hurt, but that's just me being my silly old self.

Keep it up,

Nice Nate!

Fun to see your stuff, its been almost 2 weeks! haha, seriously though good vids! Keep shredin and staying in shape! I hurt my ribs snowboarding yesterday so I can't lift weights or play footbag very hard... I think I am going to lift on my legs though so we can bust hard in 2 weeks. That'll be tight!

peace, weed, and rum.
