Paradox Double ATW?
Paradox Double ATW?
Just curious if anyone knows the name of a paradox double around the world? I checked the Move Nickname List in General Footbag but it doesn't seem to be included =\

A far double switchover consists of two out-in dexes, I'm doing mine in-out. So he was right when saying a far double pickup, still doesnt help me with the nickname though

far double pick up is a bit contentious because it probably should get a pdx add but it doesn't
Basically with pdx it needs to be a far full dex - so the bag needs to pass completely infront and behind the dexing leg. With double dexing moves - for example reaper etc. it only counts as a full dex if the total dexes are full - so the bag needs to pass completely infront and behind the dexing leg twice - which for reaper doesn't happen - but for a pickup does. However the nature of pickups is such that I really don't think there is an extra difficulty or component from a ss pickup to a farside - although I understand many people don't find this.
Basically the add system has a lot of minor problems and it would be great if the ruling body of footbag (in particular the IFC) could make statements regarding these so that everybody is clear on them but there are much more important issues at the moment (that aren't being discussed anyway).
So basically far double pickup fits the definitions of pdx and there is no good reason why it doesn't get a pdx add - but it doesn't. There is really nothing that can be done about this unless you want to run for a position in the IFPA so I think the best thing is to just live with it.
