today i did something strange,i spend my lunch break how it is supposed to be used for most of the people,i layed around in the sun,eat some stuff,drink tea...no shreding,well a few barefeet ducking appempts,but nothing real...cause of this all...my knee,it hurts like shit!i will go to a doc tomorrow,hear what he says,and rest untill this aches end!i wanna be fit when i meet with markus and justin...

due to my not-shred in my break i had some time to think,i thought about my eating,its defenatly not healthy,i need to change that,eat more green stuff,lijke salad,and nothing from burger king or mcDonalds,and i need to eat more different things,not the same things all day every day!...and i need to work out a bit more,my legs are quiet a bit skinny,i need to build up muscle...i guess i will go to work on my bike in the next time,eventhoug it is getting colder,but this might be some kind of motivation to ride faster!

so i will go eat some fruit loops now( hey i just eat them for the bunch of milk i need to eat them!)milk is good!and then i might finish my newest bag and then be off too bed!

hello

so,i´m back shredding,kind of.i did some conseq kicking and osis today,also some barefeet dex drilling on my flipside.i dont want to stress my knee that much still,its good now,and i hope it stays that way,so,no hard shredding for me today.

its funny how much time i spend infront of my tv when i´m not shredding,so i´m realy happy to be able to shred again,otherwise i might get all fat in no time!

one thing i think i should mention in my blog,i did anew combo latly,and i think the way i did it it was kinda something new,guay muted into wrap around,its so cool looking.i wanted to call it cohmah,but everyone s saying its no new thing,but i call it cohma anyway!

i have my first big ordering,a club from austria wants 3 bags from me,i hope i can satisfy there expectation,in fact i should get going and start stiching,otherwise i wont be ready in 2 weeks!

so here we go once more...

today i went to stuttgart for the sake of benztown footbag.i met 2 guys there,markus and his brother stefen(i hope this is corrct,but i think so).those are 2 very solid circle hacky sacky who want to go freestyle footbag now.it was a very fun day i spend there,i didn´t hit anything new,but i totaly inspired the 2 guys,and that was the reason of this whole trip!

markus knew how to do atw,not so clean and often,some very little advises and he hit some clean nice atw.it was fun watching him make this progress,he was all like"oh i did atw,come on now film me!"it was real fun.also he hit some mirages,what suprised me in a way,cause i think mirage is one of the hardest moves when u begin.
his brother was motivated too,he had a good inside kick and beginnings of a inside stall,so i told him some tricks to improve this inside and how to make clippers,or how to work to a clipper,by bending those feet and doing some wrap around>freeze and stuff.also he hit atw kick a couple of times and he tried butterfly,and he ended up in hitting butterfly kick some times.

the even coolest things for me were,how motivated they are,i gave my lavers to markus,so he could see how they do for footbag(her dont have them,but he will get them now! )and he was so happy...they aso made some pics ofg me footbaging,i remember that one realy cool,me trying a double leg over,again i dont hit it but the pic looks sweet! i will post the pics ass soon i get them!

so...right here...a new entry in this diary of a not so good footbag player

all in all i had some sessions going on lately,but i didnt hit something new,i concentrated on getting my flipside on one level with the strong side.its realy hard.
now that i´m back working,i had every day nearly 4 hours of atw training on the flipside.it feels better,but i guess it stays with the feeling...i do barefoot at work,so i guess it wont be that easy to translate the achievements into shoe shredding,i realized that earlier,i was shredding a little,not much,i was tiered...oh...i hit one new thing,illusion,on the strong side pretty clean,but i guess i have to work on the technique anyway,and a bit too sketchy on the flipside,i need to work on my dex again,this is going to be prime goal.i had some conseq clipper stalls today too,my flipside gets better on that too.i realized my problem with flip clippers isnt the catch,it is the set...i cant seem to set the bag straight up.i work on that!

also i recieved a bag today...awesome thing,from toby suggate,its lovely,it will be the first bag for my stichers gallery(yes jochen,i steal this idea from u )i hope the next bag for the collection,the one from vida,will arrive too.
i recieved another cool trade too,a traded with matt cross...my bag with his cd.i love it,its my favorite music right now,i listen it in the morning when i drive to work,it kinda makes me happy!its the best thing i traded in for in my whole life up to this point!thanks matt

i stich alot tooo in last time,i just finished bag no 2 for the austrian guys...i think i can finish the last one in this week!we´ll see!they are fine bags up to now...i´m satisfied with them!

weather is not so good lately,its sunny outside,but not too warm...and when it is warm i sit at work...and when i´m finished working the sky gets cloudy and wind comes up and stuff...like someone dont wants me to shred outside!

uh...i made up a nice combo yesterday,i doodled it up at work,i was a bit bored,and here it is:pixie butterfly>spinning ducking nuclear butterfly>ps mirage>toe set nemesis>atomic zulu double over down>quasi nemesis>far pickup drop!
nice isnt it....when i can hit this i´m gonna get this tatooed into me,with the doodles!

back again...

no real session for me this weekend,but whenever i stood around i got the bag out and did something,that way i hit mirage out of o flapper,some atw on the flipside...and most awesome pendulum set butterfly!this is a nice move,i will work that into my runs sometimes.also on friday at work i did some pixie>pixie>rpt...my flipside now feels a bit like a part of my body when i play footbag,not like the strong foot,but it defenatly gets better now.i will do dex training everyday from now on at work,this is the best time i can just do atw,i hope i get better soon.

then,my girlfriend and i went for a walk with her dog yesterday,and we came out at the most beatyfull place i have seen since i live here,and i live here for about 4 years now!you could look all over the whole town and the fields around it...and the sun was shinning and birds singing and u didnt heard one car nor other civilisation noice...i think i will go there once in a while from now on...

i just arranged a trade for a lesh-bag...i´m so happy

here i am...4 days no blog entry.so i will make a short overview of what happend that time!

every day i drilled my flipside like an idiot.i now can do as many atw on the flipside as on the strong side,it still dont feels the same,but i hope this will come!
also i tried some cross body pendulums,i hit butterfly out one once.thats cool!i will have pendulum as a fixed element in my runs now,i work hard on them,and it will be awesome too watch someday!
i tried some flapper and then stuff out of it.i only could do legovers and mirages,but that alone looks so sweet!i guess i dont need any more moves!
i did a cool move at a bench,toe set,one foot up the bench,catch in a clipper,and then do a ripwalk down the bench!the elderly women were very pleased well i could have said to them what i want to make on a bench they sit on!
oh yeah,i hit ripwalk!sketchy but so what,i work on it now everyday...when i have the opportunity!
i footed trippel around the world yesterday!so awesome!
my guiltless record is now at 5!

i had a little session yesterday,i will have one later too.
ysterday i had that need to play in my lavers again,it was quite funny cause in lavers my clippers dont come that good,due to my little inside cheat on my clima´s,but the sole of the laver is so much nicer than the one of the clima,so i did some flapper and sole stall drills,nearly got pdx mirage out of a flapper!

yesterday,i was at work,thinking nothing bad,as those 3 young men and this young pretty woman walk into my schwimming hall.at some point htey started to throw a familiar looking thing throug the pool.i went a little round around the pool to see what it was they threw...and then it layed before me...a dripping wet sipa bag...my thoughts were"should i?or should i not?"...i decided to do it,toe pick up...atw>mirage>legover>mirage>pickup>flapper>toe stall>pincher>atw...and they were like and one of the young men came up to me and said:"hi,i´m klaus,and i want to learn that what u did right there!"so we tried a few atw and stuff at pool side(coolest thing is,i was at work,so i got payed for this shit )and he said he will meet with me some time...also the young girl was pretty hyped about that bag thing...so probably i put up a little door to make footbag a bit popular around here!i hope i dont get disappointed by them like by the last guys who gave up after atw cause they thought they are good now and dont need to learn more tricks!

so that was my day,i will go shred now!

TODAY WAS ONE MY GREATEST DAYS IN MY FOOTBAG RELATED LIFE!!!

first i had some serious drilling today,it went so well,everything i tried has been hit at the end of my session.as there were:
-flipside whirl(rev whirl,but since i cant hit normal wirl(its impossible)i consider rev whirl a wirl)
-fairy ducking butterfly--i have to explain this...i went for only fairy butterfly,but i set the bag that high that i thougt"damn i could duck this",so i tried and hit it,allthough the butterfly at the end was more like a instinctiv reflex...but anyways,even my boss was impressed!
-pixie diving butterfly--i thought to myself,fairy ducking goes well,why not try pixie,but i seem to can only hit pixie diving...it comes so naturaly,i cant do anything to make my body just duck it and not dive it!anyway,cool move
-blender--i realized what i was doing wrong all the time,i could nearly hit it some times,but today i realized i set the bag way too high,i corrected the set height and hit first try!on my flipside it was allmost there,but i will work on the (rev.)whirl first!but i dont know if its still a blender since i do a rev whirl instead of a whirl...anyway,i hope my wisdom about the setting height will improve my real whirls a bit!

then a buddy of me came over for a little swimm,we had closed for public today,so we were all alone in the schwimming hall.so what we did,we tried out these cool lead belts that i found somewere in the basement lately...awesome things happend then!first we walked around the ground of the pool(4meters deep)then we found that under water rugby ball,basicly a sandfilled soccer ball.so we decided to play soccer under water,was so much fun...then i tried some footbag moves under water,but the bag and the water were no good so i didnt even hit atw!
but it was a ass lot of fun anyway!that took me 2,5 hours of my working day i have the coolest job in the world!!!!

and then the best thing came in form of the executive director of my company.he came in and realized that his son was sitting around and couldnt take part in swimming lesson because he didnt brought his swimming cloth to school,so he came up to me and asked"hey dont we have some mechandising for my son too play with while he waits out here?"but we dont have something like this...so i told him that there is a trend upcoming with small balls that get kicked and stuff,if the company would make those balls,they could print the logo on top and give them out too kids...what he did was clalling the merchandising expert,he came over and told me to find a way to make this possible! i mean,my company pays me some hundred bags...for me and the rest of the company to give away and spread footbag for the sake of the companys puplic relation....how awesome is this????

yeah i need to find a source for good footbags now that is willing to put our logo on the bags!
i will send emails out to every website that proclaims to service footbag community and so on...we´ll see how much of that talking will be left when i come with a real problem!*lol*

by the way...nice that u read my blog matt...its nothing special but i didnt thought that anyone would read this.... so oh yeah...my second "matt-cross-will-soon-be-owner-of-this-bag-footbag" is half ready!

jo...no real shred for me the last two days...i dont know...i need to take more time for it!but there are some persons who think i live just for them,and that kinda sucks,i dont have time for anything i want to do.that also means shredding!

anyway,at work i hit some nice crossbody pendulum stuff,all barefoot,and its not that easy to just get this over to shoed shredding.i also drill my dexes on the flipside every freaking opputunity i get!i do well now,i have the feeling that by the end of this year my flipside dexes will be just like the normal side dexes...i realy hope so!

then i had some great success while organising my event.i have accomodation now,and i have some save place to get the net fields put up...and a raining emergency plan also.i think,the biggest hurdels are taken now.so the rest is just getting some posters and flyers done and stuff...and making it official!but for this i need a fixed date first!for this i need to know when worlds and euros will take place...but somehow noone can tell me things like this!

i will keep working hard,on the shred and on the event

oh,i recieved the first money for footbags today,as purrpose on the transfer bill was "home grown footbags" written...so that inspired me to make this sweet pic for my gallerie!

i had no weed plant at service,otherwise i would have made the pic with this one,not with a dehydrated cactus! but the fruits are sweet as pie!

just a short one...

i tried a lot of rake last two days.today i had a break throug sucess.i finaly found out whats the catch with rakes and i hit a couple of cool stuff involving rake!here i will list them:
xbody rake
atomic rake :it was more thought ass butterfling rake,but i realized that this is my first ever atomic move!
rev. whirling rake
flapper to rake
pendulum rake :this is the most styling move i ever made...its so cool,set the pendulum straight up and when the bag falls down catch in a rake!it looks so awesome!
all rake stuff was sadly hit only barefeet,but i´m positiv i can transform it into shoed shredding asap...whirling rake was hit in lavers

and 5 rakes back to back...also i doubled my record in osis to 8 back to back!
oh and i cant go on stiching somehow,i have a nearly done bag for matt croos lying around here and i need only 2 panels to stich into it,but it wont get done,i´m just too busy...maybe i get it down by tomorrow!

i will get a cam next week,i hope i can post some footage then...

today i was very jumpy at work...

...i had allmost no visitors in the pool,so i decided to work on my mirages a bit!everything was done barefeet,i could impress some kids and a couple of elderly people...noone wanted to join my shred!

but i had some cool things.when i shred barefeet a do allmost no clipper for obvious reason,but today i had this cool string:atw in>atw out>mirage>legover>mirage>pickup>pixie mirage>fairy mirage>butterfly>whirl>rake>rake>butterfly>atw out>atw in>pincher>drop
i never before hit a midstring pixie or fairy mirage.i had this idea how to improve the pixie and fairy set,so the bag would go atraight up,and still gives me enough time to do a move afterwards,and it worked out.i hit a couple of pixie mirages allmost effortless.i now hope my flipside pixie will get better now,i drilled it for 30 minutes today,just pixie>pixie>rep...it may have looked odd for the old ladys.but who cares! oh and the jumpy thing at work...i made a double backflip from the 3 meter palttform today i never tried fliping from a platform before,but today a small kid challenged me...so i had to but now my back hurts like shit,i messed up the second try!

thanks jochen...yeah i went a far way on my path too footbag godhood! i realy impress myself with my runs the last few days!and i guesss going to frankfurt was the best thing i could ever do,after it i was so pissed that i couldnt hit all this strings i thought i have down that i played so much and worked so hard...finaly the results of all this show up

cant wait to meet with u again,i´m pretty sure u still would have one or two helpfull hints for me!

about this backflip thing...i would love to work this into footbag moves,but sadly i cant do backflips or frontflips out of the stand...imaging how big this would look like Backflip butterfly>frontflip pdx swirl!

a week without enty´s...damn,those lateshifts make me get lazy!

some cool things happend this week.first off,i bought the coolest video game ever(maybe this is what makes me real lazy! )its the new tony hawk game,coolest thing to have!
then i met some juggling guys,they said they have a place were they practice in winter time,they invited me to join them sometimes,i think i take this opportunity,since i have no real winter shred place.and i wanted to learn some juggeling anyway!
then my girlfriend has this neighbour,its her best friend,and she has this boyfriend,a pretty good skater,and he also plays hacky sacky.i went to the skate park he and his guys meet,in the hope to make this my new shred spot,and i was so suprised,when those kids made a break from skating they kicked hacky sack...i joined a couple of circles,i held myself back,and it was fun...just kicking,doing a atw once and then...fun thing to do.then i tried a bit of skating for myself,i can roll straight forward,not more,but its something,it is way harder than it looks!what was also new for me,when skaters skate,they call it shredding too,that was funny!i had a nice little shred at the end of the day,a few spectators,but noone seemed to be intressted in learning freestyle footbag,so what,u cant force them!
all those days i hit no new trick,but i maybe had a bit of a change of my shredding atitiude,due to a little trash talk with one of the skaters,i now think that it isnt that important to allways hit the biggest possible tricks,more important is to have fun,going slow and consistant and have FUN...i realized how much his words immpressed me after my todays shred,i went only for 2 adds,had my longest string ever and i felt so good!i think i will go see those skaters regulary,otherwise i will never improve my skating skills!
