Cod, you are the perfect person to take toe spinning stuff to the next level!

You should hit the wauxpin version of all your favourite butterfly (or even whirl/rev whirl!) moves. Sidewauxpin is soooo stylish!

hit... railing wauxpin! :D

I'll try some Wauxspin moves on the next shred and Toe Spinning also. Maybe Toe Spinning Wauxspin? :P

I've got today a preety shitty solo shred outside. I was trying some Wauxspin stuff and hit many moves in many many tries, but actually I'm not sure if I do my Wauxspins not "the"... I need a video with a clean Wauxspin and I need a video with my Wauxspin. At the end of a shred I've hit flipside Eggbeater. Ners should be proud of me ;).

At 03.10.05 I've started studying Math at Warsaw University! Yeah, I know, I'm stupid, because studying Math is a hardcore ;). I had a brake in footbag till today. I've made a small solo session.

07.10.05

It wasn't a hardcore shred with many combos. It was a training. I've schooled my DLOs. Strongside one is really good now. Flipside one is weak, but it's better and better on every shred. I've hit ss DLO bs and then ss DLO b2b > run. I've nailed Pixie ss DLO. It's a preety cool move! I think I'll hit it bs on the next training. After DLOs I've schooled a bit my Fairies. I've hit Fairy Legover bsos and both were midrun! I've also hit flipside Fear > strongside Toe Blur. Then I've spend some time on Symposium sets from Toe. I've hit Flailing Legover (only once) and then Wonton Legover (few times). I've hit this trick earlier but on the other side. I don't write now "flipside", because I've realized it's easier to hit it on the new side for me :). On the next training I have to hit Wonton Legover midrun! Today I've hit also some drills:

 DATW in > DLO - 5 contacts
 DLO > PLO - 7 contacts
 DATW in x6 (my old record was only 3!)

At the end of this post, sad information... I'm not going to Polish Championship  :(. I can't because of the school (the competition started at Friday) and because of no money. Damn!

08.10.05

Today whole my family were out, so I've done a solo shred at home. It has lasted about 1,5h. It was a DLO training. But at first I've hit some new drills and some records:

 Toe Blur > Tap > rpt
 Toe Schmoe > Quantum Legover > rpt
 Tap > Tap > PLO > rpt
 Zulu Legover x4
 Diving Legover x6
 Pixie Weaving Mirage x2 (today it was the first time ever ever I've hit this trick)

Here are highlights from the DLO training:

 Ducking DLO
 Goliath
 Tapping DLO

I've named this shred the DLO training, because at the end I've don 100 tries for flipside DLO and 100 tries for strongside DLO. Here is a little table:

Code: Select all

    FLIPSIDE STRONGSIDE
      + - + -
  1. 4 6 7 3
  2. 2 8 8 2
  3. 4 6 10 0
  4. 2 8 9 1
  5. 4 6 8 2
  6. 4 6 9 1
  7. 3 7 7 3
  8. 5 5 8 2
  9. 5 5 8 2
 10. 5 5 10 0
    -----------------
     38 62 84 16

My flipside DLO ratio is 38% and strongside 84%. I'd like to see bigger numbers after a next shred ;).

Props :] Goliath is difficult move :] Toe schmoe > Quantum Legover [rpt] is very hard to hit :o I can't hit toe schmoe BSOS :( My flipside quantum isn't perfect, your quantum's are really incredible :)

Probably I'm also not going to Polish Championship :( We must shred together this autumn/winter :) Maybe this time you will go to Lodz :D
Hmm... Maybe we can do some "Centre Poland Jam" :?:

10.10.05

Today I've done a training outside, because of a good weather. I've played about 2 hours. After some warmup drills I've started to school my Pickups. I've hit 12x Pickup b2b and it's my poor record of this move . Then I've hit Tapping Pickup bs (and then bsos) and Atomic Pickup bs. The second trick on a flipside Pickup is really hard. Atomic Pickup should have an Xdex add in my opinion :). After all these Pickups I've shreded a bit. I'd like to have longer runs :(. From some time my combos have the same length and I don't like this fact. But I'm happy these runs have better variety 8). After this little shred my brother (who has came to watch me for a moment) has taken me some cool photos when I was hitting Merlin and has filmed my Goliath (quality is bad, because it's only a camera ). After that I've started my DLO training. Here is a table:

Code: Select all

    FLIPSIDE STRONGSIDE
      + - + -
  1. 6 4 10 0
  2. 5 5 7 3
  3. 6 4 7 3
  4. 8 2 9 1
  5. 7 3 8 2
  6. 6 4 8 2
  7. 6 4 10 0
  8. 6 4 9 1
  9. 5 5 9 1
 10. 5 5 8 2
    -----------------
     60 40 85 15

My flipside DLO ratio is now 60% (22% better then 2 days ago!) and strongside 85% (only 1% better then 2 days ago). I think this kind of training is awesome to school single tricks! After the DLO Training I was to tired to play more and it was to dark, so that was an end of a shred.

Here is my Goliath: http://footbag.pdx.pl/video-pob73.html

And here are photos:

i like the idea of your dlo chart and even want to try it out, but I do not know how to interpret it. what do the +/- represent and the numbers?

The idea is to do 100 tries on flipside and 100 tries on strongside. It would be boring and exhausting if I wanted to do whole 100 tries on one side in one series, so I'm doing 10 series per side: the first - 10 tries on flip, then 10 on strong, then the second - another 10 on flip and after that 10 on strong, and so on, and so on. After every 10 tries I write on paper how many tries I have hit on recent side (+) and how many drops have I done (-). The first number in the table is a number of series and actually it isn't necesary to be there. I write it just because ;). Numbers on bottom of the table show how many tries I've hit in general and how many drops in general I've had. That's all folks ;). I hope you understand all now.

In the second picture, you look like a shorter version of Dylan Fry. :)

Also, I used to do the same thing with charts...I kinda slacked off on it, I'm not sure why.

Good work on all the toe stuff, I'm sure you know that it really appeals to me. :)

Damn, no shred since 10th of October! Bad weather sucks!

16.10.05

In the evening I was alone at home and I've done a short single tricks session in my room. At first barefoot and then in Rod Lavers. I've borrowed a camcorder from Staron, so I could filmed some moves. Here they are:

 Pixie Original Tap (first time ever!)
 Toe Fog (barefoot, first time ever!)
 Tutifruti
 Kill Frenzy (barefoot, first time ever!)

I hope you like it!

Tomorrow I'll have a shred with Asia in her school, woohoo!

I have invented and named Kill Frenzy. I'm not sure about Pixie Original Tap, because I've heard some people have hit Downtime Taps before. I was really close today to hit Toe Fog in Lavers. I'll try to do that tomorrow. Kill Frenzy in shoes will be a massive :).

Little shred with Asia in her school. We had a camcorder but haven't filmed good stuff. Only one my combo. I don't write what is this. You have to wait for our movie :P. At the beginning of a training I hit a 50+ Tiltless combo as a warmup. That was nice :).

Short shred with Chester and Janek outside. My shoes sucks! Both of them have a hole in sole . In worse one the hole is so big that you can see bottom of my toes! In few days (weeks) I should have new Lavers and then I'll start to hit superlong runs and awesome single moves :P. At the training I haven't hit anything special.
