Stalling for abshire mini or Mr. sandbag

I was wondering wich bag is easier to stall with, abshire mini or mr sandbag. I had a Mr. sandbag but it was lost in some bushes while my idiot friend was throwing it around. I really liked it and the way it stalled but i am getting a new bag now and i havent used an abshire mini but i really like them from what ive heard. So wich is easier to stall with an abshire mini or a mr. sandbag and which one should i get?

Get the regular. Mini's take a very very very long time to break in. And when they are broken in they still arent super stallable. Get a regular. Please.

Get a Mini man, they are freaking incredible! They dont take that long to break in,and when they do they stall very well.Besides,its fun to work on your kicks when its still packed.

I dont know what these other guys are talkin about,Minis KICKASS!

Trust me man Richie knows how to stitch.

I"m talking about new players who have friends throwing their bags into bushes buying $40 bags.

It makes no sense. This kid isn't going to have the patience to break it in right, and he definately will not be able to stall the bag when it is new. I think it will be a dissappointing purchase for him. If you read between the lines, you can see he has no bag. No bag, equates to no patience for the break in process. This leads to people posting bullshit on well made bags, and I"m getting tired of seeing it. ( " Every panel had a hole by the time I could stall it" . . . " I can hit oasis better with a pencil" . . . "This bag sucks, I can shred better with a sock " )

Just get a Mr and be happy. It will be stallable the day you get it, and when your friend throws it into the bush, you won't be out $40.

I've been using Abshire bags exclusively for about 8 years, I know they are good bags, and they are my bag of choice. Sometimes it just doesn't make sense to recommend them, and this is one of those times.

Agreed. Expensive bags made for performance are meant to be treated well and with care. Having them destroyed due to irresponsible actions or reckless people aren't choice decisions. A safe investment would be to get a Mr. Sandbag and be done with it if you're that destructive. Cheap and affordable, with little time to make compared to a top-notch custom made 32 panel.

Yeah I don't really let very many people touch my sandbag. I mean, I kick it around with my friends and whatnot, but as far as letting people "throw it around", not at all.

And as far as my moshbag is concerned...I don't even let anybody look at the thing. From a distance. It stays in my hand or on my foot. Nowhere else. (Unless of course I met somebody who actually knew how to not screw it up.)

These guys are making Abshires look bad. They are not.They are probably the best bags on the planet.

If you want super stallable,check out the Sandmasters from World Footbag Association.

Its always good to recommend Abshires!!!

Luis-- seriously read what they're writing. Are you reading this thread or just responding over and over again? They're not saying that abshires are bad bags. They're saying that they're very good bags that need to be treated well. If the bag is gonna get tossed around and manhandled at school, you don't want it to be a $30+ prize bag, but rather a $6ish good bag. To reiterate:

THEY'RE NOT SAYING ABSHIRES ARE BAD BAGS ALREADY.
Although, abshire mini's do have a reputation for a brutally long breakin time.

I'm thinking abshire mini's are meant for smaller fillers due to the size, leading to the reason for having such a long break-in time. Just my two cents.

Lol yeah Luis, you probably should make an educated guess at how new a forumer is at footbag and tell him what bag to get based on that.

It's pretty stupid to tell a new player who is just learning tiltless to get an abshire because they are much harder to stall even if they do everything else better... when you first start playing, you just need it to stall well.

Mr Sandmans are perfect for new players because they are cheap (so if you lose it, no problem) and they stall very well, good to learn the basics with.

If he had been playing a few years and was going guiltless then that is the time you recomend something like an abshire, it would help a guiltless player out far more than a new player (obviously).
